The lens design is patterned after the Takumar so the images are gorgeous. The bokeh and sharpness are excellent.

Unbeatable lens for the price, as are the entire trio. I have all three in Sony E Mount.

Seems like a nice pickup for m43. I know 25mm is the “standard” lens, but getting shallow depth of field at an absolute focal length of anything wider than 30mm is an uphill battle. But 30mm like a fast Sigma, or 35mm like this… that touch longer length just has an easier job.
Anyhow, this was nearly always attached to my Fuji, until the TTA 23mm came out. Sure, the geared parts are kind of narrow, but the focus ring is so smooth you can basically grab it anywhere. At least on my copy. My biggest gripe is that it effectively skips f/11, which isn’t much of a criticism. It’s a great piece of glass for the price.
You're right! I definitely enjoy it more on the Fujifilm cameras but out of the trio on M43 it might be my favourite

I don’t think they sell these lens sets anymore . Do you see comparable quality in images with the Fuji 1.5 crop compared to m43 x2 crop ?
I think it was for Chinese new year or something. As for the quality, my GX80 is a tad old compared to the Fujifilm cameras I normally test on so I do notice a little difference there yes. If it were "like for like" age wise I reckon it'd be very close.
How do you think this lens would fair for video purposes?
Not too bad for a budget option.
Excellent image quality but the focal length which is 75mm equivalent makes it tight for street photography I guess
You know, for me, I don't mind at all! I think you can do street with all sorts of focal lengths but it's all down to personal preference.
It's 70mm not 75mm...
