Hi Sebastian From TT the best is 50mm 1.2 for mft. I got all the line 2 years ago…on aliex 16,24,35,50 and the IQ quality is decreasing when you got wide… I think is good for pseudo vintage photography…for clean look manual go to Sirius nightwalkers or Mitakon T 1.0 for more character…for video or Russian vintage as well. FD model could work… Don’t know if it make sense to buy MFT anymore…even L mount S35 make more sense…imho… Pro mft lens are anyway expensive…like FF…by physic DR and resolution has a limit with smaller sensors…and S5 iix stabilisation is as good as G9ii…after last update…
It does indeed. Mine also mostly live in a drawer, but every once in a while I use them. And for the price I think it’s worth having them in the drawer 😄
a friend, tell me if you try to put a lens at 4/3 with a full-frame pl mount. From a reliability point of view, this will not be very good, because I would also like to use a speed booster. Do you think this is a stupid idea or should you just use a support leg?
I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to do here. But if you’re concerned about mounting everything, I’d definitely put a lens support on it. May I ask why you’d want to do what you’re trying to do?
What is a nice lens for a little evening video walk around town for my GH6 do you think? I’m considering the leica 9mm or should I consider another? The Leica sounds like a nice lens
The Leica 9mm is high on my list of lenses to get (probably soon). I think it’s a great lens if you like wide angle. And the f1.7 makes it good for low light. If you want more versatility, the 12-35 f2.8 might be a good choice, though it’s a lot slower than the 9mm f1.7
@@RedFrameTech thanks for the reply, it does look pretty good. On street too I quite like a wide view for video though for photos I like things a little closer.
it’s a fully manual lens. you can’t change settings in-camera. You have to turn the aperture ring on the lens itself. The camera doesn’t know which aperture it’s set to, so it’ll display 0
It’s currently on sale for just $69! bit.ly/4btVv9d

It renders like a vintage lens. Probably something I’d use once and leave it in my drawer.

hi Sebastian
i just bought the lens for my canon r7 but i'm stuck on setting cos the aperture is fix to 0. pls how can i change it ?

It almost seems criminal putting a $70 onto my very spendy G9m2.😂
Haha! Doesn’t it? 😂 It also looks a bit silly on my chunky GH6
