Working in the military we were taught to seek validation. That was hard for me. I had my own standards. I refused to seek my self worth through their misguided, jealous, & stupidity. I had my own path always seeking to do better. Though i retired from the military i know my own self worth. Now in the private sector working a unfamilar job position (because the private sector refused to pay my self worth with knowledge, experience, & a degree) i was and am pleasantly surprised that they like me. Something new. But i always have that drive to learn, to work & set goals, watch others to learn from. But still i am in awe when they praise me. Something i never had in my 65 years.

I found this peace a long time ago. I’ve lived alone the bulk of my adult life.
At 65 & retired, I am truly at peace. I know my God, and He loves me! 🙏♥️

Avoiding challenges is a habit many of us fall into, but this video highlights the Stoic perspective on embracing discomfort as a path to personal growth. It's a refreshing reminder to step out of our comfort zones and confront challenges head-on, fostering courage and resilience. The emphasis on facing difficulties directly resonated with me, offering a new lens through which to approach life's obstacles.

I love these videos. I listen while driving to work and am learning to deal with today's world by not being affected by worldly things and to go within. Everything else is transient.

This is a powerful video. Now 66, I was raised on capitalism and materialism and the hope of happiness it offered. Sadly that happiness was only ever temporary. After years of searching and disappointment and with the advent of the internet I eventually stumbled upon "Non-Duality". This was a breakthrough moment. Happiness (or more precisely, contentment) can never be found. Why? Because we have never lost it. You can never find it "out there", you can only "reveal" what is within. “Reveal?”, because we've concealed it with consumerism. About 10 years ago, I found myself experiencing a growing and constant "inner peace and contentment", the more I let go of worldly obsessions. I found your videos only recently and discovered, to my delight and amazement, that many of the principles I'm living by, today, are indeed Stoic principles. Breaking the cycle of worldly happiness and unhappiness is the key to revealing the "inner peace and contentment" we all have. And Stoicism and Non-Duality is a great place to start. Keep up the good work.

I live in a 1-room cabin. Its paid off…I own it. I live on 17 beautiful wooded acres. It wasnt easy but I own that. Across the road from me is a house for sale at $650,000. It’s a 5-suite house…huge. Like something out of a storybook. I often wonder if the people who end up buying that will be nearly as happy as I am in my little, itty, bitty 1-room cabin?!! Actually…I don’t even care. I wish them well but I’ve never been happier in my life!! ❤

Implementing the lessons I learned from this channel changed my life trajectory and learning that there’s a yin and yang in everything. I wouldn’t have appreciated the power of kindness if someone was not cruel to me; I wouldn’t have realized the importance of growth if I didn’t see myself stagnating; I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of health if I didn’t get sick; lastly, I wouldn’t have appreciated the growth of my RUclips channel about self development if I didn’t start from 0.

When l was appointed as a catholic bishop in south sudan for Tombura-Yambio, l was extremely overwhelmed by various expectations and comparisons. I have to take self driving decisions to be a leader is able to take legitimate community needs and concerns into account before people's decisions are finalized on me before them reaching their, without being held hostage by dissenting voices from my people.
In fact my decisions l realised that, l do not mean being disconnected. For me it is staying engaged, welcoming dissent, and not over reacting to it. In all this, the key role has been to be connected with my people, but not to base my decisions on other’s emotional reaction to them. I believe this has kept my childhood broad smile 😃.

Honestly, l have learned never to give 2 hoots wot other people think of me. I know l am a good, respectful person that has manners & helped people. Never have been jealous ( wot for?); my parents; ❤ l cannot thank them enough for my education; despite them saying that l am a good person. I’ve never wanted fame. I’m a professional muso, & l see people that have the biggest egos. Of course l get disgusted by the way people treat others, or don’t like ‘animals’. We are animals too. I’m completely content with my life, despite all the crap one can go through. Of course l’ve had times when l might get upset with myself if l thought l’d hurt or put other people out. I chose to have no ‘real friends’. I’m no angel either. It’s taken me forever to really to accept myself; nobody’s perfect. It’s not hard being nice. Vanity is another emotion that is destructive. I’m so stoked l’ve found these sites. Repetitive, but l guess they’re trying to make sense to a lot of people who NEED TO BE TOLD!! Great stuff. Thank you. 😈✨🥰

This video offers valuable insights on relationship advice for men. Here are some key lessons I gathered:
    - Be Confident: Confidence is attractive and demonstrates self-assurance.
    - Practice Self-Care: Taking care of your appearance and health boosts self-esteem.
    - Communicate Effectively: Clear and honest communication builds trust and understanding.
    - Be Respectful and Kind: Treating others with respect and kindness fosters positive relationships.
    - Pursue Personal Growth: Continuously working on yourself makes you more appealing.
What do you think is the most important quality in a successful relationship? Let's discuss!

Biggest joke ever! To spend a lifetime seeking, searching a method or way to have peace and happiness all the time? Hummm, I wonder? Let's search. 29yrs old learning lots from many, 35yrs Damn it's never ending this seeking! 45yrs old! WTFs going on? Today! I was always here, same place all the time... Couldn't find the back of my head, why did I ever think seeking elsewhere from myself that I'd find it there! How was the one needing help going to repair the injured! Sick can't help the sick..... So almost 60 and have completely dropped the seeking.. Knowledge is great! Seeking a phantom I created us pointless and Das Ist Futile!

If it were Easy for humans to change themselves... we would be in a happy rodeo of demonic events and saintly acts; we would be powerful beings unneedful of growth or correction. Why would we ever need mindfulness and self-control or even Kindness or Justice? Friends, its actually an Unhappy rodeo we are driven into, so my guess is if you are not able to escape the show at least there might exist a way to make it more interesting and in time even perhaps... enjoyable.
