atiq aly No joke they’re trying to jump ship to Star Wars. If they lost their passion they should’ve changed showrunners. I’m not a fan of TWD but they’ve shuffled through em, it’s possible on a high budget show. It’s a disservice to us if they don’t put their best foot forward.
The only character the writers haven't completely destroyed this season is probably Varys... Tyrion, Dany, Jon, Sansa.... pretty much all... have been horribly butchered by the writers.

I don't know Kit personally but let's be honest. Knowing what we know now, he was 100% genuine when he said "disappointing" before flipping. Promotion interviews can be exhausting and sometimes dry/annoyed humor is used but this is the season finale we are talking about. His body language showed that he was actually sad about it.

Tbh, even Maisie Williams had a problem with Arya killing the Night King, she said it should have been Jon and that this impossibly powerful villain being killed by a “45kg girl” would hurt the story and disappoint people ... her words not mine... she’s not wrong though ...

@@YYchrisYY Yeah, I saw that. It doesnt mean that George didn't tell them that was how he is going to do it. (Taking into consideration the differences of there not being a NK like the show has in the books, as far as we know.)
I don't get their 'we decided three years ago' but from then. As they used the 'brown eyes, blue eyes etc etc' that was never part of the book material, and that season was way before this three years ago decision.

That vague "prophecy" about Arya shutting eyes was originally about her time with the faceless men, but they shoe horned it into the white walkers when they decided they went her to kill NK. I'm almost certain someone like Jon will beat the white walkers in the books, especially after all the prophecy stuff. In fact, the writers even say something along the lines that Jon was too predictable and thats why they changed it, so Jon was originally the one to do it...
Alot of respect for Kit and cast of the show. They're actors, they're given a script and have to work with it, and I can only imagine the hard work they all put in. The writers however deserve no recognition or respect at all for this season.

Facts
Please don't delete episode 2, I loved the quiet before the storm and the feeling of saying goodbye to our beloved characters. Almost all are still alive after episode 3, so it feels contrived now. But I can assure you that if GRRM had written episode 3, some of the main characters would've died in horrible heart wrenching ways. That's what we were expecting from the Battle of Winterfell.

I think all the actors hate D and D for butchering literally all of their characters. Everyone seems so unhappy, and they all were saying how terrible shooting episode 3 was, and it wasnt really worth what they had to go through.

He's disappointed because Dany will probably steal his thunder (rightfully so), Jon is the most boring character on the show and Kit is the worst actor on the roster no matter how pretty he is, he's acting skills are average at best. He was hoping for a big moment for his character which was stolen by Arya and than probably Dany.

The skill of making poorly edited and near pitch black action scenes? We see the heroes get absolutely bum rushed by a zombie tidal wave and then the next minute they're standing up just fine and no zombies anywhere. This happened a couple of times. That is some piss poor editing and scene writing. Either they're getting over run or they're not and by the looks of it: Brienne and Jaime should've been goners in the first few seconds, but they're the only ones left in the end with the entire army dead.
But next week, Daenerys' army magically comes back to life for episode 4, even though we just saw everyone get killed.

Power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely. Would Jon want someone he loves to sit on the throne? The reason why I am hoping that Jon destroys the throne to save Dany from herself. Dany's good and has good intentions but instead of breaking the wheel she may become a part of it because of its history. And, I agree that all the main characters survived so they can be killed off in KL.
