Wow the amount of bitching in the comments I find saddens me.....it was an incredible show (and yes I myself was a little dismayed at the ending) yet putting it aside .....this show kept entertained for more than a year....it was thrilling ...the kaniving plots ....the mischievous of little finger ....Tyrion’s brilliant wit in the face of all adversity....Jon snows struggle with leadership....Davos and his humbled integrity....the beauty of the sets and locations .....might I remind one that the lifestyle of persons within this show is pretty full on with flights ...line memorising....and getting into character .... Is it possible for those of ye who may complain that you yourselves have spent lots of time watching the seasons of game of thrones and that like so many great show such as Vikings and breaking bad which is delivered for your enjoyment that you might show some genuine gratitude for the fantasy and entertainment of his production.....
It should be said over and over: All the problems most of us have with season 8 are problems with the show runners. The ACTORS.....absolutely phenomenal.
Watching this years later and it makes me so angry. How great this show was and how CLOSE it came to being a masterpiece... To be let down so badly. The actors look devastated.
Being a masterpiece? It was a masterpiece already in my opinion. Of course, the show went to shit once they ran out of GRRM's writing. Expecting some random dudes to have similar or exceeding ability to tell a story than GRRM did was naive to begin with.

I didn't expect this to make me sob. They had invested 8 years of their lives to this show and you can see the disappointment and emotion on their faces.
Imagine watching the stupid grins on those 2 devils as they watch these people show real time emotion at the truly horrific disappointment of a wasted decade While they count they pennies they think they'll make with disney May they rot forever in inadequacy
idk if you watched what I watched or if you're just farming likes but there wasn't disappointment anywhere. shock and sadness at their deaths and happiness at arya's deed. bruh watch the video before commenting, we all know it was bad but dont lie to farm likes.

@@VIDireWolfIV it made me sob watching this so I obviously felt differently to you when I watched it, these recent comments have just brought me back to this comment and I'm as shocked as you are that it has so many likes. As it's such an old video and I just wanted to post after feeling such emotion and sitting alone sobbing in my room. 😂 But I guess others felt that way too which is nice to know. Yes there are happy moments and I smiled along with the cast for that but the overwhelming feeling I got from the room was disappointment and it broke my heart. It is not much about being phonies, they were doing their jobs. They are not the ones that directed the story. None of them would do a mutiny because at that point its just not worth it.
1.45 Kit Harrington absolutely shook that he is not the one attacking the Night King. The only one to not look up from the script. He recovers well but that first second shows it all.
Exactly what I was thinking. His character’s whole prophecy and purpose was completely pulled away beneath his feet. D&D should never have been allowed to adapt the series. I blame GRRM for not being more selective.
@@heisann8437 How did they "create" anything? They basically followed the books almost to the letter until halfway though Season 4...? Lmao, granted they did an okay job with Season 5 and about 2 episodes of Season 6 were fine but everything else in that season + all of 7+8 was just horrible, atrocious writing. The only positive additions they themselves made to anything before Season 4 were the very few Arya + Tywin interactions.
Yep, his body language and expression says exactly how many feel about the writing. "Okay, that's it. Let's get rid of this crap! *flips away script* Man, why did we put so much effort into this to end it like that!? I'm seriously pissed." Emilia thinks "I can feel your pain, buddy. Sorry."

@@captainjefferies9047 The writing for season 8 was horrible. The writing of the show went down hill when D and D didn’t have anymore source material to work on. This is an undeniable fact. They butchered the entire series.

Someone else already commented this, but Lena and Gwendoline comforting Conleth says alot about the downward spiral this show went on. Conleth was hiding absolutely zero of his true feelings when he put aside the script. Lena and Gwen both trying to console him because they KNOW that was a horrible ending and treatment to such a big player in GoT.
Kit’s reaction and Emilia’s reaction are the two ends of the Seriousness Spectrum😂 He’s shook, he looks like he might cry, she’s fully sliding down her chair and making crazy faces😂 I love both of them.
Emilia seems like a such a sweetheart. Her reactions to everyone's characters and the aforementioned deaths is so empathetic. It's like she's apologizing on behalf of the atrocious writing of D&D
The acting they did here was the best of the show... How they acted like it was amazing writing and worthy of gasp and even made sense and was emotional. Bravo! Give the cast an Emmy just for this table read...
Conleth tossing his script in disgust after his final line, being comforted by both Lena and Gwen ... that says it all. Varys gets burned to a crisp for trying to save the realm, Cersei dies under rocks, and Brienne's lover dies after abandoning her. They were all screwed over.
The United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively. The two bombings killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people, most of whom were civilians, and remain the only use of nuclear weapons in armed conflict. SuppMight morters believe that the atomic bombings were necessary to bring a swift end to the war with minimal casualties, while critics argue that the Japanese government could have been brought to surrender through other means, while highlighting the moral and ethical implications of nuclear weapons and the deaths caused to civilians. There is no absolute right in a war. War sucks.
I have more sympathy for the actors than for any of us. These people gave these characters everything for almost a decade and to see D&D absolutely ruin everything is more heartbreaking to see than me watching season 8. A real shame. I’ll never watch anything that D&D are involved in ever again, but I’ll definitely watch ANYTHING that these actors are in
Harry Potter, Game and Thrones and The Walking Dead; they all have this intimate and strong bond between the casts. And they’re all my favourite shows. I’m sure there are other series out there with casts just as amazing, but many years together is a lifetime and it genuinely shapes them. The ending was not only a farewell for them, they were also very disappointed with how it ended, just like everyone else. They stepped into the shoes of their characters and learned to evolve and understand them. Having them be written off like this feels so darn unjust.
God their reactions just break my heart. Emilia’s face when they were reading Jorah’s death, her and Conleth reading their dialogue, poor Kit just having a crisis. This cast deserved so much better than what the last season gave them.
@@user-lz3xt2ws3vProblems really became glaring by S5, and I was one of the few who said that. Got tons of hate for it. By S7 I was calling Dany the Mad Queen outright. Got tons of hate for that too. People really loved this show too much to see it.
“This is complete and utter shite” they were thinking. “We know these characters, we’ve lived them for 7 years and you do THIS to them, to US?!? REALLY?!?” Tears ensued.
As i Stated multiple times - If we were given even 1 more season where Danny's madness is shown to gradually take over her and Bran being more proactive and still having the same ending - It would have made for a much better story and much better ending. Instead King's Landing was torched for no reason at all (remember they took it over with essentially no casualties). Cersi didnt even fight back. She was drinking wine thinking "when will this episode end" and didnt even attempt to take some form of revenge on the enemy. What happened with all the wildfire that was teased? Why did Jaime go back to what he was 7 seasons ago? Why did Jon refused to listen to anyone? He had the most claim on the throne and he never used that information. How did Arya survive multiple times being scorched by a dragon? Why she never shown her assassin or face swapping skills aside from ending the Freys. Why was warging reduced to only Bran? The books hints at all stark children being wargs to certain extent. What happened with the wolf pack Nymeria made? Why did Bran accept the role of the king if he "dont really want anymore"? He knew Jon was legitimate and still got his mouth shut... Why wasnt Gendry recommended? Daenerys legitimized him essentially making him the sole successor of Robert Barateon - the last royal dynasty? So many unanswered questions... so few episodes. Also why did Dan and Dave took on this project if they didnt like the magic aspect of the show? They honestly should've left the show in season 5 and let someone more passionate take over for another 5 seasons. After all both GRRM and HBO were pushing for 10-12 seasons
All valid, but the biggest disappointment is how they dispatched the night king and its army, after a pretty much 7 season buildup as the main story arc…
Dany going mad would still make no sense. Dany simply doesn’t go mad in the story line in the books. She is a force of pure good, even if some realpolitik she despises is forced apon her.
My favorite thing is when Kit is freaking out about Jon killing Daenerys, and Emilia gives him a sad smile and nods. It's like she's trying to comfort him; she's just such a sweetheart.
Not sure if you knew this but she had read the script before but he was waiting to hear it at the table read at the first time. So she knew what was coming and he didn’t. But I think they had briefly discussed it on a flight. Like how something big happened. So to me her reaction is one of comfort but also a “see what I meant”. She knew he would be devastated. I hope they both discussed how stupid that decision was on their own time. Lol.
@@Alevermor I have heard that, yeah. Kit wanted to go into the readthrough cold, for whatever reason, but Emilia (as most actors do) read the scripts when she got them. So Kit was possibly the only cast member who didn't know! As for the "stupidity" of the decision, I really do need to post my defense of Season Eight somewhere sometime. ;-)
Imagine the conversations that some of the actors must have had after the reading and analyzing the situations of the last season. Then they did t have the visuals in mind (which were the only good things of the season). They must have discussed how some plots were ludicrous, especially the very end with the crowning of Bran, the independence of the North and Jon Snow remaining alive after killing Daenerys without Greyworm or the Dothrakis sentencing him to death. They are intelligent people, they know their characters, they were used to good writing and intelligent plots. They look like they all get on well so it’s impossible to think that they didn’t end up talking about the poor quality of the script. It’s hard for actors to complain about the writing especially in such a convoluted show so some may have expressed their concerns but they obviously were ignored. They played these characters for 8 years and the show ends so poorly. Such a frustration.
No matter how it turned out according to the writers, the actors did stunning work. I will rewatch the whole series one day, but not until it's left my memory: only then can I rewatch it with hopefully as much shock and awe as I had before.
You really get an idea of how much these folks care about each other. Clarke looked so sad about having to kill Conleth. Then Kit really did tear up at having to kill her. What a shame they couldn't have gotten a better ending to what they poured their hearts & souls into for so long. We deserved better, but so did they.
@@hexa7114 I wish they had avoided that "romance" completely. It did nothing to further the plot and took away the entire point of the prophecy where he would be the guy to save the kingdom. Then he stood by and watched her slaughter thousands. Only later did he stab her mid kiss like a coward. Really pathetic way for that character to go out.
Can you imagine what it must have felt like? To be an actor in this amazing drama, with dozens of terrific actors, each storyline unique and engrossing. To have it loved world wide. To see it get better and better each season. To put your heart and soul, your everything into this production. Then it starts to stagnate, storylines start to falter or just disappear. And then season 8 shows up and you see storylines literally turn to sh*t. You see your friends, your family actors' characters disrespected and thrown away. You see everyone's dialogue horribly dumbed down. And still your put your heart and soul into the production, trying to make it the best it can be. Your whole family works their butts off to make this last season phenomenal. You trust the process. And you watch it with the world. You see the horrible story lines unfold. You hear the world's dismay. Which turns into anger. You see episodes (ENTIRE EPISODES) that are so dark you can't even see what's going on on screen. All that work for what? You realize D&D did you dirty. You realize they didn't care as much as they said, they just wanted a paycheck and to be able to move onto their next project. You hear absolute hatred and anger from so many fans who had loved and supported you, and honestly maybe you don't blame them. But you have to stand together, with your actor family, and pretend it's not all shit. That it's actually good. I hate what D&D did to this. I hate how they crucified and literally sh*t on so much of what made GOT amazing. I hate that it's obvious they couldn't be bothered to care. But I feel so bad for the actors. I love how they still gave it their all, they did the absolute best with the crap they had to deal with. I love how they still gave interviews, smiled, and found a way around questions when I'm sure all they wanted to do was scream and shout - It's utter bullsh*t, don't bother watching!! Thank you to the actors. Because I can tell you loved this as much as I did, until you just couldn't love it anymore.
And in the end they didn't even get to do Star Wars because of how they ended this. The network said they could have more time, more money, more seasons, anything they wanted basically but they chose to end it this way. It has to be the biggest disappointment in TV history. And now, instead of people watching it again and again, or even new people watching it, they don't because of how bad ended. I've heard people say they wanted to start watching it but heard it ended terribly so they won't bother.
You can see how Kit was slightly dissapointed upon finding out that Arya was the one to kill the Night King but nonetheless he was super supportive to Masie for getting her big moment. That and his reaction to Dany's death. The writers butchered his character and he knew it.
You can see from their reactions that the actors are genuine fans of the show, not just actors working on a show to get paid. They really cared and to see how disappointed they were with the ending as fans speaks a lot.
A lot of neutral/grumpy faces and also those who seemed a bit too hmm, like they would be acting for D&D and cameras to be a bit Too excited (maybe are just super caring for their nature of others feelings, maybe to please people, maybe even geniunelly liked it but I would think there already had been private convos between people of what is even this). Also say the Arya part, it's kinda hard since you might know it's dumb and doesn't make sense after the seasons of build up but then again there is a young actor on the table who is given a big moment so who is going to show that they are dissapointed about the decision. Some might also still have glimpse of hope that D&D make it all make sense and look good when they actually see it. Other thing is that you will just get a hard to work with label if you disapprove too much but for example Dinklage and Conleth kinda have it more easy to give even to press couple snarky comments since they had some years in, they see it being like outrageously dumb so it won't backlash to them from fan standpoint and both won't be looking for hollywood action career or anything like that anyway (see Too Many Huge possibilities after this). People who had those possibilities somehow had the biggest positive reactions, wonder why 🤔 But all and all just the press for the season told me that the actors weren't really satisfied, even those who tried their hardest to sell the season.
@@aleksisuuronen5969 right and i'm not sure if they get paid for going on the promo tour but a lot of the actors were very positive during the promo tour but once that was over they rescinded their opinions and said that they didn't like how the last season ended.

The actors in this show were so good they even acted through this table read and applauded the writers, they knew it was awful, but what could they do!
What gets me is the look he shares with Emilia… asking “can this be real” and her eyes responding “it’s okay, I don’t blame you”. It was like the entire room was trying to comfort him in that moment. Funny, but heartbreaking in equal measure.
Varys' end is very unlike him. Imagine serving and surviving 4 reigns, with his careful scheming, the master of whispers, a spider in the shadows with his intricate webs, only for D&D to break another character consistency and make Varys voice out his schemes to literally another known schemer, Tyrion.
This hit harder than it did in the show. Obviously everyone has their own opinions on how it ended and whatnot , but here at least , it felt like there was a finality to all the years they spent together and that's what got me. GOT , will still be remembered fondly and as a great show in my eyes , despite the missteps I think they took toward the last couple of seasons. Bravo.
Varys was such a brilliant character. The fact that he confided in Danaerys’ biggest ally that he wanted her taken down was so unbelievably out of character, it was unbelievable. Honestly he’s the last person in the whole series that could’ve made that mistake. After all the great conversations between him and Littlefinger early on, it feels like it was all just bullshit and he wasn’t really clever after all. They would’ve been better off just having him stand in the background all season, this was so bad.
Do you think that this show was made to have happy stories? It's not a happy story. If she hadn't kill Varys, it would went against everything that she had been building up to
3:35 Emilia's look at Kit is so sweet. It's as if she's telling him: "You heard it right, Jon Snow, my love, you're gonna stab me right in the heart". And while she's acknowledging it for herself, she seems to have overwhelming mixed feeling, too. Adorable!
Emilia knew her character was going to die well before this table read. The producers told her, and she said she had to go for a run to come to terms with such ending for her character. So here she is just empathising with Kit’s reaction.
@@amydunnediditnow you didn’t see his initial reaction? He threw up his hands and leaned back. He didn’t like Arya killing the night king. He and everyone else that knows Jon knew he had to do it. But he supports his co-stars bc they’re all friends

I had read that the other actors read the scripts when they get them prior to the table read. Kit doesn’t do that, the table read is his first time seeing what’s going on. He was truly and immediately distraught 😭

That serious was so incredible. Imagine being at these readings with the same people for years of your life and watch as the roles play out with the people you’ve grown to love and admire. Quite amazing.
The way they all hyped up Maisie was so cute, Gwen holding Conleths hand was so cute and Kit’s reaction to the fact that he kills Dany was lowkey hiliarious I love how Sophie looks at him like “u ok? R u gonna cry? Do you need a hug.”
Kit’s reaction to Arya killing the Night King speaks for itself i think. Imagine the main goal of your character being completed by someone entirely unrelated to the conflict up to that point. Edit: A lot of people are saying it would have been lazy writing if Jon were to kill the Night King. I’m sorry but not everything is about plot twists. The “blue eyes” thing was awkwardly kicked into the episode although I believe the initial line was about the amount of people Arya would kill not the Night King. She has no relation to the White walkers plot whatsoever. Also the prophecy about the Prince that was promised was basically ignored for the sake of a cheap plot twist. I’m not changing my mind on that ever.
That would be like a Tusken raider showing up randomly in Return of the Jedi, no scoping Darth Sidious in the face and saving Luke from being electrocuted. Bizarre, random, woke ending for GoT, completely unrecognisable from the magnificent first 4 seasons of the show.
I'm 70 yrs. old, and this is the first time I've ever heard of a table read, as I'm not in the profession. I found it quite interesting and very moving watching the actors really place themselves in the moment of the script while the reading was going on. The display of emotion was felt while watching and gave the reader the feeling they were genuine in their displays. It was very intriguing to watch . Good job everyone.
Even to this day it breaks my heart seeing the greatest show of all time crumble into the massacre it became. 50 seconds in is pretty much what they did for the whole season.
It's quite tragic. Evidently D&D never *were* particularly great writers, as you can see where the show goes off the rails when they fully run off of the source material and its 100% their script. The ending itself wasnr objectively bad in terms of the events, but how it was executed was simply awful. So, so rushed. Mad Queen should have been slowly building up over a whole or even 2 seasons. Not just suddenly "wtf is going on" midway through one episode.
@@harrypike5140 I'd say it's not only rushed in some cases but to literally have in the script "out of nowhere" because they don't know how to properly conduct a full scene and so they skip over what they need to do and then because they forget to do that scene in a correct manner the rest tumbles into a "why is that happening like this?" Like varys just immediately switches persona by doing things hidden from sight to completely telling everyone he's going to commit treason as if that'll be his smartest play yet
I couldn't even dare to finish the remaining few episodes. Episode 4 was too unbearable for me I had to stop. Even until now I didn't watch the ending, though I already saw what happened through the clips posted on this platform.

Because it was the right ending. Danny was at her core cruel. Remember how she left the merchant who saved her locked with his girl in his impenetrable safe to die - all because he outfoxed the others by letting them believe he was rich. She saw a person either as one to be allowed to live or to die. No mercy. She would have been a terrible queen. But people were blinded by her beauty.
In an interview he said the writing was brilliant and he said that he was happy for it to all end. Maybe some input from the actors would have inspired the writers to change or at least tweak a few things.

A lot of people even today don't seem to get that the ending itself isn't the problem, it's the way to get there that was the problem. The most clear example is Daenerys progression, could she have become mad and end up murdering everybody? Yes. Was that progression properly displayed on camera? Absolutely not. If you make the characters do things that seem out of place you break the suspension of disbelief, you have to make us go through the journey of the character so that the actions make sense, that they are congruent with the character and the world he or she inhabits. Same with Arya kiling the night king, it's obvious that was not the intention of the books, it was a spur of the moment from the showrunners to make her kill it. There was no progression towards it in any way, even worse, there was another character that had that task and made a lot more sense script-wise. In the end we all know the show died when the source material ended, that is the bottom of it. It's kind of Martin's fault too because he is the talented writer, there was no reason to think someone else was capable to take over at any moment.
@@jacksonperez5615 Definitely, "who has a better story than bran the broken" is the dumbest line I've ever heard, literally ANY character had a better story than fkn Bran. Jon's whole character arc and development is one of the most tragic ones, I'm still so angry about it.

I cry even just watching this. To think of what COULD have been. All of these amazing actors deserved so much better for their performances over the years. They deserved to remembered in television history for perhaps the greatest story we've ever watched unfold... Instead, we witnessed the titanic death of a pop culture icon.
The plot points were all excellent endings for the characters. Everyone had their favorite characters and no one was going to get the ending that they wanted. The way it played out was sad and poetic and the only way that it was going to end.

This is a perfect lesson in how all of the best talent in acting and production with a passionate fan base and strong financial backing can all be ruined by bad writing. HBO execs dropped the ball hard for not replacing these two hacks when they cut the show short to go write for Star Wars…. Just to get dumped by Disney for what they did to GoT
So truee ❤️ ever since GoT ended , Dumb & Dumber didn't have another gig, just failed proposals and plans, such a shame 😩 they started off strong when they created this series only to shit themselves in the end just because they ran out of source material 😅 (such a sh*t excuse to treat the characters badly in the end 🤣)
Outside of all the problems of the final season, it's amazing to see how invested the actors were in the story - just as much as the fans. And I think that shows how powerful the show was, which makes the ending even harder to accept.
It was their life for nearly ten years. Television filming is notoriously strenuous as compared to feature length films. You often spend 12 hours a day on set when filming TV series.
it was just overrushed, 6 episodes were too few. It's easy to surprise people with a new good idea and create mysteries, but it's harder too keep it interesting, logical and unveil the mysteries in a way that people aren't disappointed with
I disagree. The greatest television show was Gilligan's Island. Who could ever forget those zany castaways. Who could forget Ginger Grant and Marry Ann Summers, along with Thurston Howell, and his wife Lovey. Then there was the Professor, who was writing a book "Fun With Ferns" when he took that ill-fated voyage, and the Skipper, and of course Gilligan.
Don’t tell HBO, but I could have just watched the table read for the entire last episode & been left with exactly the same emotions as I had watching the completed episode. The production budget aside, THAT’S how good this team of actors & writers were together. I’m so glad we had the amazing bells & whistles….but, when you strip them all away, you still have the very heart of the show. Everything was so well done.
I love these guys, the actors, absolutely outstanding. I didn’t watch Game Of Thrones when it first aired, hadn’t seen any of the first seven seasons, my boyfriend eventually talked me into watching this, and I was hooked, I didn’t sleep, I actually watched at least six episodes every day, didn’t take me long to get through seven seasons. I have never been so passionate about a television show, it’s one of the best shows I have ever seen!
If they had gone with the original idea of Dragonfire burning through and her and Jamie burning to a crisp arm in arm leaving just a melted hand to find and 2 burnt skeletons, that would have been a fitting end to her.
What fucked her death was Jaime being with her, she should have died alone, the things she valued the most were her children and Jaime, so for her do die all alone, after losing everything would make sense to the way things work in GoT. But they had to butcher Jaime entire evolution just so they could die togheter.

Wild seeing the whole cast just sitting together in casual clothes.
I think Kit may have been reading a few words ahead then what was being spoken at the end. Also you can tell that he didn’t want to do it. I love that Emilia smiled at him and nodded as if to say “It’s okay. I don’t blame you for what they’re gonna make your character do to mine.”
I had read that the other actors read the scripts when they get them prior to the table read. Kit doesn’t do that, the table read is his first time seeing what’s going on. He was truly and immediately distraught 😭
Killing her was the best decision they made! She was absolute power hungry and crazy. Making Bran the King instead of the rightful heir Jon was the REAL reason for the backlash of season 8!
@@rashelelashley Jon not becoming king was my main disappointment but in Daenerys’ defense she was neither. She didn’t deserve to be betrayed once again

This table read implies that him killing her is the final sequence in the whole series... which would imply Jon becomes King afterwards, that might have a part to do with his reaction
Yup felt the same way
The moment they distroy the whole story
That would be like a Tusken raider showing up randomly in Return of the Jedi, no scoping Darth Sidious in the face and saving Luke from being electrocuted.

I'm 70 yrs. old, and this is the first time I've ever heard of a table read, as I'm not in the profession. I found it quite interesting and very moving watching the actors really place themselves in the moment of the script while the reading was going on. The display of emotion was felt while watching and gave the reader the feeling they were genuine in their displays. It was very intriguing to watch . Good job everyone.

I didn't know much about table reads either, and I also found it fascinating as well as moving.
If you watch the film In the bleak midwinter you'll see a table read that's very funny.
It's really great that all of the actors were so invested in their character's story.
This was FANTASTIC to watch them discovering their character's destinies. Very cool.
Great photo you used of Hivju in your profile picture. Great actor and a great man. 😊 He's great in The Witcher. Love him in the Norwegian TV series called Twins too. Of course I'm a huge fan of GOT too 😁❤️
Fun fact, a friend of my brother went to school with Hivju and he's always been known to be a lovable guy. 😊
I’d argue “The Wire” or “Breaking Bad” as a series g.o.a.t. From start to finish, absolutely amazing shows
Kit and Emilia having an emotional breakdown while reading the script ;
Peter Dinklage totally unmoved 😂
coz he knew they gave him plot armor
he got too be king basically
Because it was the right ending. Danny was at her core cruel. Remember how she left the merchant who saved her locked with his girl in his impenetrable safe to die - all because he outfoxed the others by letting them believe he was rich. She saw a person either as one to be allowed to live or to die. No mercy. She would have been a terrible queen. But people were blinded by her beauty.
In an interview he said the writing was brilliant and he said that he was happy for it to all end. I would have liked too see the writers asking for feedback and taking questions from the cast during this script reading. Maybe some input from the actors would have inspired the writers to change or at least tweak a few things.

Magnificent, what a cast, what a team, such a magnificent production. Thank you to one of the best series ever created.
The ending is definitely a problem. Sending Jon back to the wall and making Bran king are two of the most retarded decisions in writing history
@@jacksonperez5615 Definitely, "who has a better story than bran the broken" is the dumbest line I've ever heard, literally ANY character had a better story than fkn Bran. Jon's whole character arc and development is one of the most tragic ones, I'm still so angry about it.

@@aspannas lmao, that line was so shoehorned. bran was boring af idk what they're on about
@@shinichigojir12 Hell no lol, he's delaying it because it's become too much now and he probably knows he won't be able to finish the series. It's already been years since the series ended but there's no new book so we're all sad haha
I cry even just watching this. To think of what COULD have been. All of these amazing actors deserved so much better for their performances over the years. They deserved to remembered in television history for perhaps the greatest story we've ever watched unfold... Instead, we witnessed the titanic death of a pop culture icon.
Right…such a terrible, horse shit, Disney movie ass ending. Words can’t even describe how upset I was with the ending/last season.
For real..... it's insane how Game of Thrones went from a household name to basically absent from the pop culture consciousness

They even claimed that they were not even interested in making a good adaptation!
It's so interesting to see the actors being simultaneously their characters aNd themselves reacting outside of their character.
It seems like they genuinely loved each other. That's why some of them cried when they learn about the final chapter.
What a great cast!
I know the last season was disappointing but this truly is one of the greatest television shows we’ll ever see.
it was just overrushed, 6 episodes were too few.
It's easy to surprise people with a new good idea and create mysteries, but it's harder too keep it interesting, logical and unveil the mysteries in a way that people aren't disappointed with
Wayyyyy too rushed, not to mention the battle the entire show built up to was difficult to even watch due to the lighting
Yeah but the last season really ruined it. Sometimes I want to rewatch the show but then I remember the last season and I decide not to.
@@iamamoth I disagree. The ending wasnt great but the show was still outstanding overall.
My boy Jon looked so hurt while they were reading that last part. Sheesh
I wonder what Lena thought of the final seasons… cuz Cersei felt so absent and her death was terrible
Hey mate do you know the soundtrack at the start?
She was also disappointed. She stated that her character deserved a better death scene.
She got paid millions of dollars to drink wine and look smug. A decent gig if you ask me
The reading made me sadder than the episode. Such raw emotion when Varys put his text down, and when Jon learns he kills Danny. Whoof!
For these actors they live long enough to become the characters and that how they die is personal
