A friend of mine is currently watching GoT for the first time and the one char she didnt like in season 1 was Jamie. She also said he looks like Prince Charming and couldnt get over it. Later it changed and now she likes him. I think it was good for the show that Jamie started with the hilarious Prince Charming look. It made his character journey even more powerfull later in the show. Aside from that, i think the casting for the show was godlike AAA+! Everyone nailed his char so unbelievable good, you seldom to never see that like this. Unreal good casting!

She's supposed to be ugly in the source material, but on the other hand who else would you cast as her? Which other female actor can you see overpowering some of the most skilled martial warriors (Loras Tyrell, fricking Jaime Lannister despite being handicapped, Sandor Clegane in the show) in single combat through sheer power? Gwendoline Christie just portrays such an incredible aura of strength, she was perfectly cast, imo.
