Mine is a 2023 CE. Such an awesome car
Just bought my 2024 S-Preferred two weeks ago for less than $30k USD. The power lift gate is a convenient plus too.
Was it easy to negotiate under msrp?
@@ritterengine1289- not hard at all. Shopped 10 dealers by email first; called the best offer to verify their email proposal. Got the OTD price I wanted. Arranged test drive; then decided to buy on the spot.
Helped I went at the end of the month, and the one I wanted was on the lot for a while. Plus, Mazda overall has about 100 days of inventory. They need to move cars.
I’m also in the Midwest, where most dealers aren’t playing stupid mark-up/add-on games like some other markets still do.
I’m heavily leaning on buying the s-preferred trim next month. It has what I need and doesn’t what I don’t need. Very curious to know if they were willing to work with you on a discount off the MSRP? Did the down payment amount factor in on the discount?
@@erikaramirez6958- YT keeps deleting my comment, so hope this one goes through. I emailed 10 different dealers and received four solid replies; went with the best quote of 10% below MSRP. I did have a substantial down payment, but that wasn’t discussed until I committed to buying, AFTER the price was set. The brand’s financial company has great interest rates for qualified buyers-even beat my credit union’s rates. If you choose a CX 5 that’s been on the lot more than 60-90 days, the dealer is likely to be more flexible. Hope you get yours soon!
@@erikaramirez6958- I contacted 10 dealers who had the color I wanted. Of the four who responded, went with the best quote that was almost 10% below MSRP. Helped that the car I chose had been on the lot almost 90 days. Dealer was motivated to sell it quickly. I did have a substantial down payment, but that didn’t come up until I committed to buying- which was after we agreed on price. They also had excellent interest rates that beat my credit union.
Good luck, hope you get your CX 5 soon!
I got the top spec turbo 😎
I have 2021 Mazda CX5 GT with just 21K miles on it. Got it for 25K + tax/fees about 1.5 months ago. Excellent first car! I cannot belive I was so hyperfocused on an older Lexus. This truly feels like Im driving a brand new car
My ONLY wish is that there would be an option for one of those speedometers that showed MPH as a number rather than a dial
Same here - was fixated on a used Lexus. Decided I didn’t need one. Very happy with my CX5.
Did they actually go back to those ugly flower petal hubs? 3:26?
No …they have a wheel with a “spokes”look.
