The last couple years of ball has been absolutely phenomenal to watch. The league is finally evening back out and getting away from the GSW/Mike Dantoni offensive BOOM of sub 8 second possessions and 45 3 balls a night. The 3 ball is still the dominant focus of a lot of offenses but we are seeing some fantastic defense, incredible offensive rebounding, bigs are dominating from coast to coast, and you have posterizers on literally every team. And the parity is unbelievable, role players are the key to the last 3 or 4 years of NBA post-seasons. These playoffs rule.

I figured they'd do it. Luka is finally healthier and able to play hard. Minnesota doesn't have the players to match up with him or Kyrie so they got a lot more looks than they did against OKC. It's still going to be a dogfight because Minnesota is going to keep being good on defense and solid from the 3 point line, but the Mavs can win this in 6 if they stay healthy and don't get sloppy. So many missed 3s tonight. They need to sack up and play like it's a regular game. They're too good to have a shooting night like tonight.

The league is finally evening back out and getting away from the GSW/Mike Dantoni offensive BOOM of sub 8 second possessions and 45 3 balls a night. The 3 ball is still the dominant focus of a lot of offenses but we are seeing some fantastic defense, incredible offensive rebounding, bigs are dominating from coast to coast, and you have posterizers on literally every team. And the parity is unbelievable, role players are the key to the last 3 or 4 years of NBA post-seasons. These playoffs rule.

The fact Dallas had an outlier game in the paint and only won by 3 which would have only been 2 had Conley not intentionally missed the las FT. This game was as close as it gets. So honestly this is a good omen for the Wolves and a bad sign of things to come for the Mavs

I figured they'd do it. Luka is finally healthier and able to play hard. Minnesota doesn't have the players to match up with him or Kyrie so they got a lot more looks than they did against OKC. It's still going to be a dogfight because Minnesota is going to keep being good on defense and solid from the 3 point line, but the Mavs can win this in 6 if they stay healthy and don't get sloppy. So many missed 3s tonight. They need to sack up and play like it's a regular game. They're too good to have a shooting night like tonight.
