Lyrics
Oh!
Call me good, call me bad
Call me anything you want to baby
But I know, uh-huh, that you're sad
And I know I'll make you happy
With the one thing that you never had
Baby I'm your man
Don't you know that? Baby I'm your man
You bet, if you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
So good, you're divine
Wanna take you, wanna make you
But they tell me it's a crime
Oh, everybody knows where the good people go
But where we're going baby, ain't no such word as: "no"
Baby, I'm your man, don't you know who I am?
Baby, I'm your man
You know, you bet, if you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me (come on baby)
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right (yeah)
(Ooh, take me home) do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
(Please don't leave me here) do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right
Do it on my own
First class information (oh-oh)
Sense your inspiration
With some stimulation (ahh)
Ooh yeah, we can do it right (oh)
(Ooh)
So why waste time, with the other guys?
When you can have mine
I ain't asking for no sacrifice
Baby our friends do not need to know
I've got a real nice place to go
Listen, I don't need you to care
I don't need you to understand, yeah
All I want is for you to be there
And when I'm turned on, if you want me
I'm your man (I'm your man)
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me (oh)
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me (oh)
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Now listen
If you're gonna do it, you know what I say?
If you're gonna do it, don't throw it away
Don't throw it baby
Don't throw it because
I'll be your boy, I'll be your man
I'll be the one who understands
I'll be your first, I'll be your last
I'll be the only one you ask
I'll be your friend, I'll be your toy
I'll be the one who brings you joy
I'll be your hope, I'll be your pearl
I'll take you halfway 'round the world
I'll make you rich, I'll make you poor
Just don't use the door
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
If you're gonna do it, do it right, right
Do it with me
My Dad used to work for him, his driver. Apparently & unlike many others, George would always prefer to sit at the front & would quite often from nowhere bust out a song & start singing. He told me that it was hard to fathom the scale of his talent, it simply defied belief. What George Michael did in entertaining us during his career was exactly what he was put on this Earth to do. You can't be that good for any other reason. His passing was a disaster & it still stings me but you just can't help but smile when watching this. An incredible artist.
That’s so cool thanks for sharing this

real gay stuff! Do you really think he was in the same league with Presley or the Beatles?
jimmy page certainly better than the beatles
You know....probably not. But, damn. They were a very entertaining band. I can listen to Elvis and hear pain...and despair even in the happy songs. But with GM....he always was for making people smile. Both still tortured souls but not as melancholy.
When you've been listening to someone for over 30 years and then something like this happens,it's incredibly sad. You may never have met them but they leave an imprint on your heart. RIP George

Let’s hear it for Andrew who was a massive part of Wham and set George on his path to success, a talent of which we all got to be touched by. Bless Andrew and his now or never attitude. 💜
Andrew has been on tv a lot lately for the anniversary and he comes across as such a genuine sincere guy nice bloke x
Andy believed in George's talent and let him have the limelight.
Mais George était un dieu et Andrew connaissait Yog mieux que personne.
Je pleure toujours George...
Well said. It seems that without Andrew’s enthusiasm & encouragement we probably would never have had the sublime talent of George.
YES! The driving force!
Who's listening in 2024 and forever more???

Who’s here after watching Wham?!
Omg I cried 🥹 it was so beautifully put together.
Two absolute gents!
God bless GM 💕🕊️
It was excellent. George was such a talent and good soul, and Andrew may be the best friend that ever existed. What a great guy.
Oh man I grew up on Bowie and the old 70s stuff. When George passed away I cried everytime I played careless whisper . That was the most beautiful slow song ever written. I've never cried at any other artists passing . Something about George just pure kind brilliance

@@Samantha_C1 I always loved George but I did feel sorry for Andrew as he helped build the confidence of George. Then every time they were interviewed George was always speaking, partly because that is what tv company wanted.
This is the George I like to remember .. young , energetic and happy
The Champ sexy as hell, Damn!
I'd be honored if some George Michael & 80s fans would take a listen to my acoustic piano & vocal performances of George's acclaimed hit PRAYING FOR TIME and also PURPLE RAIN by Prince on my YT channel in tribute to 2 of the greatest vocalist-songwriters in music history. The best Wham song by far...I am 54 years old and I remember it like it was yesterday. Bring back the 80's
I do not give a shit about race, sexuality (Godamm I have not had sex in 8 years) I like it because it takes me back to when i loved music and a girlfriend I lost...but hey it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
I am 51 and even though I wasn't into this music when it came out it does make me reflect on the good times of the 1980s. We had no idea how good we had things. It sounds cliche but the world really is just getting worse and worse. I am glad I never had children because it is next to impossible to get ahead for the average person and owning a home is starting to become nothing more than a dream to far too many people in urban centers.
Right on Rick!!!

After watching the Wham! documentary on Netflix I realized that Andrew Ridgeley's influence on George Michael's career was huge. He was the one that encouraged George Michael to continue with his music career despite his insecurities. The friendship between them was real, sincere and genuine. Despite George's success in his solo music career, Andrew did not envy him. Therefore it was even more sad when Andrew got this phone call about George Michael's death. The pain of this loss would have been horrific for poor Andrew. I was always more charmed by Andrew and after seeing the documentary even more.
I found that to be the most interesting part of the documentary. When you think about how egos can get in the way, and it didn't happen with them, even when Andrew admitted that George's songwriting had progressed to the point where he did all of it. He seemed genuinely happy for George's success and it's great that they remained friends to the end and he has no bitterness about his time in the industry.
Happy Heavenly Birthday George 6/25/2024 (61) 🎂🕊🔥❤️

I think that the reason why people have asked who's listening to this kind of music, like this year of 2021 for example, probably because that this is outstanding music, especially that anybody can dance to it, than today's garbage music that's been getting all the attention in this day in age.

He's voice was just unique
In 1985 the chorus of this song, "If you're going to do it, do it right," helped to save my life and has been my guiding philosophy about life ever since. I have autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy. As with most lifelong painful and potentially lethal diseases, the great challenge of survival is not physical but psychological. Since November of 1985, I never waste five minutes on anything I don't feel 100% right about, even things that are relatively trivial. If I do anything I do it right and that has been true for over 30 years. I don't think I would have survived this disease without it. I thought so many times about writing to George to tell him what his song did for me, but I thought he got so much fan mail he'd probably never even read it. Now I wish to the bottom of my heart that I had written that letter. George, your songs were so imbued with love that even a f*** song was life-affirming and, in my case, life-saving.
I am in my late 40's and let me tell ya.. I have been around long enough to see of many singers, actors etc. pass away.. I can't explain it, None has gotten to me like the passing of George Michael. I just can not for the life of me wrap my head around this one.. It like, this just can't be... There is no way... Not HIM!!! His passing has just really gotten to me.. I have loved him/ his voice from day 1. For heaven sake, I was born and bred on Elvis, and I remember the news over the radio that Elvis has passed away. It did not bother me anywhere near in the way the news of George Michael passing has.. This one is really really tough for me.. I grew up listening to Prince, Michael Jackson. {All kinds of music }and Still those did not bother me as much ..I am just at a total loss in my life.. I never saw any of them in concert. never met a one of them.. But George Michael... this is worse than anything I have ever felt in my life over a person in general
Christina everything that you said is EXACTLY how I feel. I loved Elvis and I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard of his passing. With George I just can't stop mourning his death. It's like a deep deep sadness that won't go away and not to mention this is for someone that I have never met, but I think a lot of the sadness is because he was such a good man, humble and so down to earth, like a regular person and also the way he adored and loved his mother. He was just a beautiful soul. I havent even touched on his talent, he truly was one of a kind artist and I will always mourn his passing.
Yeah I know exactly how you feel, I was sad when other great artists passed away but when George passed away, for some reason it hit me more. I think it might be because hes comes across so genuine, hes generous to charities, had a fantastic voice. He wears his heart on his sleeve that's for sure.....just so many great qualities about him....I'm not gay but he was a very good looking man as well.
Missed him may his soul RIP
Warm hugs:)

"I'll be your first, I'll be your last, I'll be the only one YOU asked" Wow, just wow! Powerful lyrics from a sexy man! RIP George
Andrew was the true definition of a best friend. When I saw the Wham documentary he gave George his blessing to go solo. He helped George with his confidence almost like a mentor. 11 and 12 is high school age
the documentary really changed everything for me. I had no idea of what WHAM really was, I was young then. Watching it was so poignant, there is truly no talent like George - but without Andrew, the world wouldn't have had George. A BEAUTIFUL documentary!

"Do what"???
Must be rough having only two braincells that are constantly fighting one other...
I sincerely pity You... especially Your miserable attitude.
This song was out when I met my husband Gareth . We were together for 34 yrs. I lost him in 2020 to pancreatic cancer at just 58. Love you Gar you will forever be my man . Miss you love ❤️❤️
Sorry for your loss. May he R.I.P. 🙏
💙
thanks for the memories...RIP GEORGE
To this day George has that voice to make you Swoon... 😀 He will always be one of my favourite music artists. So blast this song as loud as you can, and dance like there is no tomorrow.
I don't know why his death made me the most sad out of all the ones who died this year. He was oh so talented, and so damn beautiful! Oh my gosh! I want to cry every time I see old videos of him, or listen to his music. So fucking sad man!😭😭😭💙💙💙
Jenre Johna me too, I don't know about you but I think I was the saddest about him becuz I could relate to his life well without a lot of money. I understood his struggle and the battle he had with sexuality/ spirituality. That's why with me. I will love him and be heartbroken about forever..
I know how you feel...totally identify with you! love him!
"But where we're goin' baby, ain't no such word as no!"
My favorite song from George Michael.
Pretty sure George Michael wrote it and performed it as part of Wham, didn't he?
George Michael was the lead singer in Wham!
And Faith
Me too! I feel happy.
😍😍😍😍😍
Love these two men. The talent, the energy...George had presence!!
Hi Vivi
We don't care about your sexuality, if you're a fan you can say how many you find him amazing.
Indeed ! What a talent the world has lost.
I never cared about who he was or was not...his music transcended space and time....i felt lucky to get to enjoy his magic.
He was sexy as Fuck.... Gay or not!!!!
He’s a lovely man. Very talented. God bless him.
Yes i agree
Literally one of my Top 5 songs of all time. Remember when the song came to the Radio Station I was working at the time. Immediately fell in love with it and played the Hell out of it on the air! Wham was Hot at the time and this song helped cement my time in the 80's! Man talk about good times! Rest in Power George Michael and Deon Estus!
George Michael died 1 week ago and I'm still not over it.
me neither!!! Just cray cray!!!
John Lennon died 36 years ago and I'm still not over it
So I will never over it :-(
still not over it :(
+missisfreddiemercury it's still hard :-( never thought that the death of a singer would me threat hard like that, I thought he would be live longer.
it's half way through 2020 and, YES, wham and and the terrific george michael STILL have fans - if your gonna do right, do it with me !!!
Grandma naughty

@@moniquekroll9792 this is the 1st song on my spotify the second is The Edge Of Heaven always loved George Michael ❤ I've got plenty of his other songs on spotify but these 2 are my favorite
I loved this song growing up and still do. Although now it makes me a little sad watching him in his prime. So young and energetic and to have him gone so young. He was and always will be a Legend.RIP George.
Miss the time, miss the talent
Miss it ALL...❤😂😢😢❤
George was great. He managed to engineer a big sound into his music production. I lived just outside of London in 1980 and saw his confidence and huge talent grow through the 80's and beyond. Talent with a capital T.
I think Michael was the best singer we've ever had, so versatile, smooth and beautiful voice. I miss him so much!
There will never be another George Michael. He was one of a kind
Lp
Cannot believe he is no longer with us... I grew up dancing to his music, my children grew up with me singing his music. With a tear in my eye and a sadness upon my heart; RIP.
i grow up listening to george micheal gueen
R there still any WHAM fans left in 2022?? RIP George Michael.
Always 💯💯👍👍2024
2024 and still missing him ❤
From the Bronx and i love WHAM and George MIchael
I always enjoyed WHAM! and George Michael's music in the 80s. But it is only in recent years that I have begun to appreciate just how good his voice was. The fact that he could keep up in a duet with Aretha Franklin says it all. So sad he was gone too soon.
Anyone still in shock over George Michael's death? It's so sad!
Not in shock but very sad.
Right here
Same
Still incredibly 😢
So...who else is relying on George Michael to get them through Quarantine right now?
Me😔
I play his and wham music everyday. This is my favourite Wham video x
Sophie Halton Me🌈
Hi Sophie,
Me 😊
My favourite singer ever.
I’m listening to his songs since 1982 (I was 12) which helped me trough difficult moments in my life and now during this quarantine.
His songs make me strong !
Take care Sophie and keep healthy 😃
Not just thru quarantine but every day 😊
Im 16 years old and man do I wish I was born in the 80s. Music was so good back then, all songs today are the same to me.
The music in the 80s was the best. We had superstars for musicians
@@tajtandoori9076yeah, Dire Straits, Wham!, Billy Joel, Dolly Parton, that’s only a couple, i can barely think of any singers that I like in the music world today
@@vincentdelgado5022 @vincentdelgado5022 You've got good taste my friend. Keep the 80s alive, it's all coming back
This song makes me feel good
Feel good music. The 60s,70s and 80s (perhaps the 90s too) had lots of it.
I grew up with the songs of wham. Such good memories. I am in shock...
This dude was an incredible artist. Saw him a while back and the show was insane. Sad how it ended
I grew up listening to George Michael because of my mom and anytime a Wham song comes on my mom turns into her teenage self again.
