I think Andrew's contribution to the path and everything Wham! has been far underestimated. George it seems had more pain and confusion in life, which probably lended itself to his musicality. I wish George were still alive-- wish he could've had Andrew's strength.
I think it’s absolutely hilarious what their intention were and how the big labels and other big bands missed it! It’s seriously makes me start cracking up when I think about it. Not saying they didn’t want a band and make a name but the way they wanted to do it while they were achieving it and no one caught on but thought they were serious is really phenomenal and I’d quite honestly should be talked about and recognized. But it would be a bit of an embarrassment I think to the establishment big wigs and the bands that were at the top at that time. And here come these two, acting like fools and having a blast ( with good music) and soar to the top at this remarkable pace never scene before. He was a once in a lifetime singer, songwriter, master of everything musical. I can't think of any current day singer that compares to his incredible talent. Every time I hear GM I am happy and sad at the same time. GM legacy will continue, there is no end.

I love the opening to this video, it is hysterical! Shows off their satire and humor to laugh at themselves! I was already out of high school when their music hit the airwaves over here in the USA. It was still THE music that all of us "20 something's were listening to--rocking out to, and singing around the apartment on days off from work--and when we were hanging out and cruising around. This song brings up feelings of nothing but pure joy and happiness as did most of Wham’s music. We were all so blessed to grow up listening to George and Andrew’s music in the 80’s and didn’t even realize it until it was too late. RIP George, just know that your musicianship and talent brought joy to countless people around the world.
