George Michael was beyond incredible, of course, but I would like to give props to Andrew Ridgeley, his partner from Wham! What a true legend in his own right to hand the reins over to George and give him the space to become the superstar he turned out to be. Andrew knew he couldn’t compete with George. To take up a spot with the backup singers is beyond classy and shows what a great human being he was as well!

@@lawjef He said Freddie went backstage after Quen performed Meaning Queen went on before Elton but he performed more than just with George and George was later because you always sae the best for last he talked about it in Bare other than he t thought he over sang he said something else I forget but he did not hate this performance you know perfectionists and artists always think well I could have done it can do that better than I just did he wasn't miserable about it or anything and I loved it Georgey LOL George has more emotion in his range of singing and in his voice I mean look up Candle in the Wind sang by George Oh my lord Jesus did weep when he heard that wept because he was moved

I was at Live Aid, George had the most amazing voice, another one we lost far too young, thank God for real music in the world before political correctness ruined everything

Two absolute legends banging out a ballad at Wembley, not a phone in sight, just people enthralled and engaged at the beauty of it, will never be the same again

May we all do our jobs as enthusiastically as Elton played that piano. Lol. Everytime I watch this, Elton makes me smile. And George is amazing...as always!! ❤

The fact he was only 21 about to be 22 when this was preformed is crazy to me! He was just so talented! Hell Careless Whisper he was like 19-20 writing it at 17 that shows just how talented he truly was!

He was so talented. He said he wrote his first song when he was only six. What an old soul he was! Truly one of the greats.
