I like how more and more honest he has became throughout the years. While they are being demanded to act a certain way to feed to others delusions, only the really brave one can refuse. Can take the hate and move on and still be themselves. To show both their light and their dark side to the world. I love this for him. Honesty suits him.
Seriously, I hope this comeback is a taste of what's to come in chapter 3 and beyond. I feel like they've more than paid their dues as 'idols' now it's time to really let go of that label and do what they want!
He is not becoming more honest he is going back to his roots he was this honest, raw, savage and carefree as Runch Randa (pre debut) and Rap monster ( his first mixtape RM) eras but that company and cringe K-pop fans literally turned him into a joke he had to play the role of goofy clumsy nerd so he came across less intimidating I am glad he is refusing to play the part anymore just being himself

Yes there's an extent to which he had to play a role, and he's expressing his feelings about it now, but he also is genuinely a goofy clumsy nerd, that's an authentic part of him just as much as his raw emotion and aggression.
So many of his lyrics throughout his entire career have talked about the contradictory, multifaceted, layered, messy nature of being a person, and how he wants to accept all parts of himself. So trying to write this narrative where there's only one 'real' him which is the 'raw and savage' one, while any time he's goofy, nerdy, clumsy etc. is just part of a 'cringe' kpop idol act is.... honestly really weird and limiting, and doesn't fit his message at all.
Yes he sometimes has to put on a persona to please media/investors/fans, and he's rejecting that, but it doesn't mean every moment between 2013 and now was a fake performance.

Now this album is exactly what I wanted from Namjoon. It’s full of music styles he personally loves and the honesty behind all the lyrics is at times heartbreaking. This is an album he needed to put out into the world. This song is so reminiscent of Epic High one of the groups that inspired him the most. Thank you Namjoon and more of this please.

I like how 'LOST' MV had an incredible production with stunning visuals and a very unique concept "Inside RM's mind" while 'Groin' looks so plain and simple, but both songs and MVs looks similar and have the same kind of vibe.
