Im 27 and i caught on to George Michael about 2 years ago... this man is an absolute legend! I gotta admit that I love me some George Michael! And this song is an absolute gem! This era was truly the golden ages of our time!
I'm 58 now, saw them at Hollywood Park Racetrack in LA, Aug. 30th 1985, I was 23 then. Chaka Khan opened for them, 80,000 fans and Wham blew the place up, Chaka Khan was amazing too. A memorable night !!
Thank goodness as we grow older and mature that we can rediscover incredible music like this. Something I dismissed before as being too pop for me to enjoy. How foolish I was! This song is so well written and performed that I can't help but listen to it over and over. What a jewel!
Really, George Michael had a formidale career in his first years, he won a lot of prizes like best singer, best interpreter/ actor in his songs videos really highest level, he wrong not evevn a song, one more beauty than other from Faith to Careless Whisper to I want your sex to Outside and this and many others. Im glad you appreciate that. Special sound , special voice. Then in old age he is going decreased.
George Michael was one of the most talented musical artists out there, His voice was dreamy and every young girl loved him, Including me! The 80s were the best times ever! Rest in peace George.

What a beautiful human being George was. When he sang, he did so with all his heart and soul , while tackling life issues in his lyrics. One of the all time super greats. He died too young and I know he had plenty more to offer us all. RIP.
In the 80's even the producers poured their hearts into making the beat. Purely, timeless. The singers were and will always be great but the producers need to be recognized too.
Easily Wham's best song and probably the first real indication of just how strong George's songwriting and production skills would become on his solo records.

The instant 80´s classic...and God knows this was George Michael in his absolute prime.
A God among men.
I remember when this song dropped and it was like I had an epiphany. The music, the lyrics and just the way George sang it made it, in my opinion, one of the greatest songs to ever grace the airwaves.
I can only imagine. I was born in the 90’s but playing GTA Vice city as a kid is how I heard this. I remember this being one of my favorites as a kid from the vocals to the beat.
& i knew nothing about this genre of music since I was into rap. But I realized that I’ve always appreciated good music
Absolutely! I went out and had brand new speakers put in my Grand Prix just to carry the bassline the way i wanted it to bump lol!! Fun times!!
@@dorenjackson1166This is in Vice City? I knew it was in GTA V, that’s how I was fortunate enough to discover it, nothing like going 3 times the speed limit while jamming to this, you can get halfway across the map by the time the song finishes going that fast lol.
If it’s in Vice City, that means it’s in 2 GTA games, if any song deserves to be in 2 GTA games, it’s this one, absolutely beautiful track.

@@sceneryaesthetic6302 It's such a real, and honest question. So many people have kids, even get married out of some arbitrary obligation. Lot of unhealthy unions start this way.
