- The 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LT 6.6l gas is an affordable heavy duty from GM. For 2024, the Sierra/Silverado HD lineups receive a refresh which includes new exterior and interior styling, new technology, and the 10-speed Allison tranmission for the 6.6l gas engine. The LT is the first trim to get the new interior in the Silverado HD lineup much like that of the half ton trucks. This truck stickers for just over $57k, which is on the lower end of the spectrum but it still offers many nice amenities such as heated seats, dual climate control, power drivers seat, and more! Chevy needs to put the 8.2 gas in the HD’s. Something with around 520hp and 600tq. If it made 425tq at 1450rpm it’d be adequate.

The silly fake intake and badges. Unnecessary and an added cost to manufacturer. But I understand marketing needs it for the shallow buyers with lots of money to waste on larping. Lots of fools with money to pluck.
@@ffarmchicken Ok once again the intake is completely functional on the diesel application, Chevy isnt producing 2 different hoods for the same truck. If you think they are making money on trinkets and badges you confused and in the wrong market all together. Those trucks are selling like hot cakes regardless if they are over priced.

I agree, the truck is selling like crazy. I read GM is making like a 1000 a day right now. I’ve got one on order since June and still not built. This is an insane market right now.
