Loved the video but come on man, jack-queues?(7:03) It's pronounced Zack my guy, you even knew it, i cringed hard, other than that you have good comedic timing, reference humour, and editing, great job, keep it up
Yeah truth be told Spyro was never a series known for its amazing boss fights. Spyro 2 was imo the only one with really good boss fights but it also had a lot less of them than the other games. Regardless these games are still my all time favorites and despite the fact that there are STILL some serious flaws with Spyro 2 & 3 in the reignited trilogy, I can't get over how beautiful everything looks and just how much I love the remake as a whole. Hopefully if they choose to make some more Spyro games then we'll see some better boss fights.
Enter the Dragonfly was my first Spyro game, on the GameCube, so you can imagine how underwhelmed I was by Spyro as a franchise to begin with, but this looks pretty sleek. Great video.
A lot of PS1 bosses were very easy, besides some of top ones on this list (and maybe it's also because I haven't played some other games), and so I don't mind them being easier so long as at least one of them is much harder than the others in some way (Metalhead, Gulp or Ripto, or Spike). I agree that Ripto has the best boss fight of the series, and that's one of the reasons he's one of my top five villains for the entire franchise. I remember dying a lot as a kid with all three bosses in Ripto's Rage, but I was so happy just to get there and to be done (but not as happy as to know that I could actually beat the game with one-hundred percent). I should also say that I love that Twin Dragons boss fight.
The twin dragons boss fight is WAY better in the original game, the controls in the reignited trilogy are changed a bit and make the boss much harder and frustrating. Imagine if they didn't have the infinite butterflies in that part and you just had to keep dying over and over?
spike is less accurate less tricky and is not as aggressive in the trilogy in the ps1 versionin the ps1 version i feel spike is the hardest boss allot more shooting and trick shots and then just immediately runs at you trying to crush you with his fist and then just shoot again instead of running back to the center ,i do think you forgot about 1 boss that's the boxing yeti match
its kind of a tragedy that you don't compare the original graphics, at least on spyro and ripto's rage. the "low quality" graphics was the big point of the first two games, but the third one is the one I would have blown my budget on. Spyro the original was so popular because it was a masterpiece of set composure and programming, the major points was that each level had its own unique musical theme and ques, which was unheard of at the time. the programming was also a big factor because a lot of hackers cut their teeth on the anti-theft programming, which would slowly distort the game if you did it wrong.
Oh yeah. They buffed THE SHIT out of Gulp. That boss skill point (without taking any damage) was a repeat headache, and made his fight less enjoyable for me lol
Crazy thing is the twin dragon fight wasn't that bad in the original, it was actually one of my favorites. In the reignited trilogy it is just broken due to how flying works in the trilogy, which makes catching up to them harder than the original and it feels like they improved how accurate they are at flame shooting you
When i first played through Spyro 1 Reignited (havent played the originl yet) I literally didnt even know toasty was a boss. I thought he was just a normal enemy since the egg thieves exist and they are harder to kill

I though it was pronounced Jaack
That video was preety good. Truely a hidden gem on youtube.
The ox does make sense because the enemies in the level are alien farm animals

There are no flaws what r u on about?
This video is actually better than some youtuber a who have millions of subs
All three remastered games were simply perfect, especially Riptos Rage. The boss fights for Crush, Gulp and Ripto were amazing
"Also, I know his name is Jacques. I just wanted to annoy people." LOL
If this dude continued YT since this vid. He'd be on like 100k subs

I literally love toasty for one reason: it terrified me as a kid and i didnt want to see him. If i saw him for literally one second i started to cry😩
all of the spyro 3 bosses redesigns took all the intimidation factor away

This guys underrated
Underrated video
That’s not a bird that’s a pterodactyl 19:26
You deserve more subs!
why do the ADULT dragons have clothes, and Spyro (A CHILD) is running around with no clothes on?
a naked child running around adults
19:42 best part of the video
The yeti from Colossus is the most epic boss in Spyro games. Change my mind
Ripto died with grace in Spyro 2. He was never used again in any other game and I refuse to believe otherwise.
Spike was a menace in the OG but got castrated in the remake

Ah ah ah, Sleepy has a third attack.. There's no dynamic difficulty in Reignited though so it's permanently absent.

I never knew scroch spawns buzz
Jaquese is the exact same fight as Blow Hard.
Yeah all that sarcasm is going to get a sub
I love how Blowhard, Toasty and Crush are so easy! I just had Blowhard and Toasty's henchmen. 😡
Ripto is the closest spyro got to a
Multiphase Rareware boss
Oh yeah. They buffed THE SHIT out of Gulp.
That boss skill point (without taking any damage) was a repeat headache, and made his fight less enjoyable for me lol
there good bosses
spike UNDERWHELIMG MY ASS HE WAS THE HARDEST BOSS for me but ya metal head and shemp are good

Your voice is too quiet.
I think is spyro 2 riptos rage
Like oh come man let just call this game
Spyro 2 riptos rage what do you think
Sleepyhead also hurls red magic balls that explode and leave shockwaves
I thought Ripto was super easy.
What
I would have much rather waited a few more months for the game to come out then have the third game be absolutely disgusting
I hate gulp
Cope and seethe the video
I feel the remake of year of the dragon is bad (but that's me for ya)
