You missed a very important bit about Argus: He's the only dragon with two sets of dialogue in the same area, depending on when you free him, which the recorded speech is also changed if the conditions are met. If he's one of your first dragons freed, he tells you to seek out other realms. If you free him last, or view his recording after visiting every other realm in the Artisans' Home(except the speedway), He talk about the boss realm and wish you well.
That was a really heartwarming reason for your No.1 pick. I can just imagine Gildas saying "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents" to Spyro while they paint.
Did a little research on the "chewing-on-straw" cliche, and what i could find is that the grass is usually the sweet-grass type, so its basically nature's chewing gum to those who do it. Sweet to the taste and readily available.
2:58 I always personally thought that Spyro sounded genuinely sincere about the Beast Maker's swamp. It sounded more like he was trying to comfort him, to me, which made it stick out to me because it was one of the only times the ps1 Spyro actually sounded compassionate, in the first game.
My favourite has to be Gunnar. That design of his makes you look like he’s seen all the worst kinds of battles and won them with scars. The holes in his wings and that eyepatch just scream battle hardened warrior to me.
One thing that I like about these three videos, is that you allowed us to see the entire animation. From the break to the leaving. Others would just show it, and talk over them. So thanks.
I just had a cool idea. The town square dragons help prepare for dragon feast. Andar and Delbin make the dinner and dessert. Thor will make the bowls and plates to eat off of and Nils will sculpt statues to add ambiance to the dining area.
@@ToridoriGaming Yep and those teeth, I bet he can literally easily bite someone in half with those. But I guess it also helps that Gunnar was one of my favorites in the original too. It's just that Gunnar is one of the few dragons that doesn't tolerate Spyro's sass, especially after Gunnar compliments him. Gunnars assertive reply to Spyro's rude dismissal of his compliment is toned down in reignited but it's definitely still there. Lateef actually is looking at Spyro, he just doesn’t have pupils. His eyes are just yellow to give him that mystical eyes that give him magical sight kind of look
Great finish to the list Tori! Even if I wouldn't have put some of these in my Top 25, your explanations almost win me over most of the time. They really nailed the design here I think. #16 - Ivor: Agree 100% with your assessment. This is one of the most endearing exchanges in the game, and a great design! #13 - Gunnar: "This guy made me a scaly" LOL. But same... badass design for sure! #11 - Delbin: Nestor gets a lot of praise for his voice actor, and rightfully so, but I love Delbin's voice for some reason too! I think you've got 11-13 in the right places though - they definitely capture the "young, hip, handsome dragons" pretty well, but aren't necessarily the absolute best. #5 - Revilo: When I first saw Revilo I was so befuddled trying to figure out WHAT was going on with his wooden design and rocking around. And then he said that line and I just died. Great dragon! #4 - Bubba: Oh, he is just PERFECT. Definitely deserving of the high placement. #2 - Gavin: Like Gunnar and Delbin, he's got that young-buff-and-handsome-look going on, but they went ALL OUT with the design here which is why he stands out even more. I'll admit, i didn't really like Gildas much, mainly cuz of his little awkward head movement after his dialogue. But the way you talked about him changed my mind and I like him a lot better now! 💖
I’m not sure if you forgot or just didn’t know, but Argus is the only dragon in the game with two dialogues. If you go wake him up after visiting one or more of the other Artisan worlds, he’ll let Spyro know “You can challenge him now, IF you feel you are ready.” In the original game, his voice is even a bit mismatched between the two!

Heaven forbid any of these guys existed since neither them or Tori would be able to get anything done. How would either have time to work with the amount of fangirl and latching onto strong dragon chests and chub dragon bellies going on? x_x
Maybe Sadiki has extra horns to make him more effective at charging and ramming enemies... ... explaining why Spyro is so keen to use charging as an attack. Runs in the family.
I've always thought he was a life model for the dragons to produce pieces of. Hence the food, the body shape and scarf to add texture for an artist to excentuate.
Oh, my gosh yes! Gildas is your favorite! I love that precious Don Bluthy Painter Dragon! I may have plenty of gripes about Reignited feighed promises and tonal inconsistencies but I still like the 1st game thanks to the dragon redisgns giving something new to digest. I wish a few of them were Females though cause I"m still confused about the Eggs! Watching this made me realize that Tomas, Magnus, Titan, and the one I forget were redesigned and altered 3 times 4 if you count Grouchy Stubborn Titan in Shadow Legacy.
I always thought that Sadiki has some relationship with Spyro in terms of colour and features. Is that a coincidence, or is it possible that Spyro could be part Beast Maker?
@@ToridoriGaming Well, he must be an Artisan, since it's his original homeworld. It's just a coincidence that Sadiki shares the same colour scheme as Spyro. In the original game at least.
Because of their designs and such? I guess when you make animals or create dreams you don't need a specific look like the Artisans or Peace Keepers do, but I see what you mean!
Gildas? GILDAS? Tori, we share the same dragon on the number one spot. Gildas had to climb up on the top for a while tho, because Lucas and Lateef were my favourites in so many ways. But then my friends, family and so on got to play the game and the comparisons happened. While my brother compares me with Nevin every now and then my roommates and friends all agree that I am more like that blue grandpa... I mean, geezus, even my father agrees on that. Have you ever been compared to a videogame character for a while? It's kinda cute... and awkward, but nonetheless cute.
Only in looks and I don't really see it myself. "You look like Lara Croft!"... Because I had big boobs and brown hair. I'm only 5ft and I'm incredibly unfit. 😂
Argus' name sounds almost like "Arbuz" wich means watermelon in Polish and he even has one x3 Edit: Bruno in Polish dubbing has a high-pitched woman voice, it was so funny when I heard it for the first time xD
I gotta be honest, i alway thought Kosoko in the remake sounded like he was trying to advertise something to me, like "Fairy's kiss" sounded like some kind of chocolate, or uhh... A certain type of hotel, and his... Somewhat sensual tone made me feel just a bit uncomfortable about the whole thing.

Not necessarily after every other realm. You *have* to leave one level via a Return Home portal otherwise it won't trigger, as far as I'm aware.
That was a really heartwarming reason for your No.1 pick.

Ok Alvar needs to be a little careful on the butcher knife he's swinging around.
Maybe Sadiki has extra horns to make him more effective at charging and ramming enemies...
... explaining why Spyro is so keen to use charging as an attack. Runs in the family.
A assume that Argus is some kind of food connoisseur.
I feel like he would have been better with a glass of wine in that case, the watermelon threw me off. 😂
I've always thought he was a life model for the dragons to produce pieces of. Hence the food, the body shape and scarf to add texture for an artist to excentuate.
good list. if I ever get to tht point in my livestream, i'm going to do this
Do itttt
Oh, my gosh yes! Gildas is your favorite! I love that precious Don Bluthy Painter Dragon! I may have plenty of gripes about Reignited
feighed promises and tonal inconsistencies but I still like the 1st game thanks to the dragon redisgns giving something new
to digest. I wish a few of them were Females though cause I"m still confused about the Eggs!
Watching this made me realize that Tomas, Magnus, Titan, and the one I forget were redesigned and altered 3 times 4
if you count Grouchy Stubborn Titan in Shadow Legacy.
I always thought that Sadiki has some relationship with Spyro in terms of colour and features. Is that a coincidence, or is it possible that Spyro could be part Beast Maker?
I always thought he was just an Artisan, as it's the Artisans that teach him stuff. :o
@@ToridoriGaming Well, he must be an Artisan, since it's his original homeworld. It's just a coincidence that Sadiki shares the same colour scheme as Spyro. In the original game at least.
Kosoko, seems...... A little high.
12:46 BREAKING NEWS: TORI HAS TERATOPHILIA!
More at 5
I can never tell what kind of jobs the Beast Makers and Dream Weavers are supposed to have.
Because of their designs and such? I guess when you make animals or create dreams you don't need a specific look like the Artisans or Peace Keepers do, but I see what you mean!
Dream Weavers:Creating Dreams
Beast Makers:Witchery
Kasiya seems to be heavily inspired by the caterpilar from Alice in Wonderland.
Finally im not alone when I say Gunnar is the reason im bisexual.
Gildas?
I personally like Delbin and Gunnar the most. They both seem like the two who really tone down Spyro's sass.
After soooooo many tori-less days, here's the light. 😭🤣
But I do streams too! :O
@@ToridoriGaming but i can't catch your streams cause of work 😭😭 i can only watch dem youtube vids
Gavin is my favorite of the dragons. Metalcore barista-Dad!
He is a badass 😎
I said it once and I'll say it again but Gildas sounds like somebody wants to sell me something for 3 easy payments of 19.99
"Vairen my boy, how about a season pass?"
@@ToridoriGaming "You bet!"
Y’know, having done the adult dragons in Spyro 1, why not the baby dragons in Year of the Dragon? They’re so adorable!
Argus' name sounds almost like "Arbuz" wich means watermelon in Polish and he even has one x3
Edit: Bruno in Polish dubbing has a high-pitched woman voice, it was so funny when I heard it for the first time xD
I need to hear that voice 😂
@@ToridoriGaming sorry for replying so late, but I can send ya a vid of it on.. I dunno... Discord, or Twitter?
SPEERO TEH DURGON!!!!!!!!
SPURGA DA DURGA!!!
SPONGEBOB THE DRAG QUEEN!!!!!!!
Wait...
I'd watch that show!
Toridori just watch the trans Patrick episode on repeat. It’s basically the same
The straw thing is probably about lazy country bumpkins from the American south but I could be wrong
So Gunnar made you a Scaly; NOT Cynder...
Seems legit
Gunnar is 1000 times better than Cynder
That was a quick response
Sucks that Spyro isn’t #0 though...
😂
I didn't watch the video but Bubba is my favorite dragon
Todor looks like Mushu from Mulan.
Yes when I was a kid I thought that was Spyro is Dad I still think that's his dad just nobody's not saying anything
One of Gnastys most devious henchmen is a sheep
11:38 Cajun dragon!!
Love him
Think Bubba moved from Peace Keepers?
26:23 I...I'm looking for my mate Gavin. Somebody help me!
Magnus is number 1. I also love Cyprin, Argus, and Bubba.
Magnus is my no 1 as well
@@Desaday939 Were the same person so I agree
Lateef might be connected to Overwatch. Just look at them orbs necklace he's wearing.
What number is Isaak?
My top favourite dragon is Maximos from Level 2-1: Dry Canyon
My top 10:
1. Trondo
2. Gildas
3. Bubba
4. Nestor
5. Gavin
6. Delbin
7. Magnus
8. Gunnar
9. Halvor
10. Titan
Ultimately, when I see Trondo, I think of Kai from Kung Fu Panda 3.
