My favorite morning poses are supine stretch and cat cow. Those two poses seem to get my spinal fluid flowing to begin moving around after sleeping. This was a just-right morning stretch for me. I'm dealing with a hip injury and this routine was doable and helped me wake up my body. Thank you, Bird!

I'm trying to get back into yoga and this was a great start for today. I watched this, and two of your other short videos before it. I have a lot of mental health issues, and when I was doing yoga regularly there was a noticable improvement in my mood and anxiety. I'm hoping tomorrow I can manage some yoga, and start incorporating a short daily stretch back into my morning routine. Hopefully that will help me build back up to longer stretches again. Thank you so much for posting these and doing what you do! My favorite is definitely happy baby, and some of the balance based poses like dancers pose. I really hope I can work back up to that!

6:28 I get a lot of stiff hip pains that go down my thighs and calves and that’s the first yoga pose that’s made my hips feel properly stretched 🙌🏻
