Dude really like your work. It reminds me of old fashion illustrations and French watercolors. It's always nice to see other traditional artists out there because there are less and less of us as time passes by. Traditional art now is considered a luxury and digital art is becoming a necessity -- much like how horses used to be a necessity, but after cars became popular they became a luxury. There is no better time now to invest in building watercolor and sketching skills than now.
Love the colourful kitchen utensils line art, looks like it would make a nice paper pattern and I hope you do find time to illustrate a children’s book sometime because it would be a joy to see
I can’t believe Tiffany is already 4 now! I’ve been following your channel for a lot longer than I thought. Thank you for being the inspiration that got me to jump into making art and watercolor specifically. I had a fun time making some limited color palettes inspired by you. Thanks for making all the content you make here and on the blog- They are always so therapeutic for me. Hope you and the family are well!
It’s always such a pleasure to watch your videos. I’ve been here for years now. Though I have stopped binge watching watercolor videos, I still watch yours because I always feel si inspired, thank you!
Thank you for sharing your sketchbook! It’s very inspiring. I think I’m going to do some contour drawings today and enjoy being loose. I always have to revisit ways to loosen up!
Hi Teoh!! I've been a subscriber for years, I think. If not, I have been lurking for years for sure. I just want to say that I am really grateful for your reviews. I'm barely a hobbyist when it comes to art but I've watched your videos from watercolors, to fude pens, and other things. I love how broad your subjects are. I love your art too!! I hope you're doing well!!
Thanks for sharing this book! I love all the illustration type sketches you don't usually do. I remember some of these from your gouache video, I think. It's very cool that you showed the watercolor fish and then the gouache fish to compare, that's very helpful. You're inspiring me!
So many great tips. Thanks! And once again, love your use of colour and all the details in some of there pieces. Interestingly, I really liked the gouache ferns (simple as an exercise that it was) because it really showed how colour choice and layering work well with that medium).
Yes absolutely, I also think this is the sketchbook with the most beautiful drawings and colors! I usually don't like pictures about human figures, I love urban sketches more, and the last building was beautiful!
This reminds me of how many different ways there are to sketch, so thank you. This morning the Bellingham Urban Sketchers are meeting inside a local nursery (because it's still so wet out), so perhaps multiple small sketches of various plants instead of just one large scene will be my choice; also at My Nursery (shop name) they have a cat, so maybe it will show up. 😀
Been wondering about watersoluble graphite. I've been playing with the lamp black watercolour in my set, making monochrome sketches. The effects are very similar without the need of fixative. That said, I bought a Lyra water soluble graphite pencil couple of weeks ago, it is fun to play with, combines interestingly with watercolor paint.
Very inspiring Teoh. I wish I could be as disciplined to complete sketchbooks! I have so many for different mediums, I never focus enough to complete them 😃 Thanks for sharing so many different ways to create vignettes.
That was very interesting. I like the raw stage of illustrations. I do a lot of sketches in my 25 years of an graffitiartist and I love the first raw outlines the most 😃 to fill them with colors are just work that has to be done 😁
QUESTION…Really enjoyed your creations. I too thoroughly loved the utensils done like the rainbow of colors. You mentioned uniball. Im always looking for waterproof inks in different colors. (Not dip pen or ink cartridges) Is this a pen that comes in different colors or do you have to change out the ink cartridge? I’d love to know exactly what pens so I can order some to use in my own work. Thank you very much!
Those colourful pens are Uniball Vision Needle, or in some countries called Uniball Eye Needle. www.parkablogs.com/content/review-uniball-vision-needle-waterproof-fade-proof-ink
Hi Teoh! I know you have done a review on Kohinoor colored pencils. Is that what you prefer to use? I see you holding a Prismacolor pencil. Is that a good one or what brand would you suggest? thanks!
I bought Kohinoor because it's very affordable. The quality is good and is worth checking out for beginners. There are better quality pencils such as Caran d ache and Faber Castell
It looks like some of the pages at the back would not open all the way. If you decided to finish this sketchbook completely what would you do with those pages?
The sketch of the different stages of a bag of bread was actually my favorite! Such a fun idea.

Thank you for your fabulous, instructive tour of your beautiful sketchbook!
I can't believe Tiffany is FOUR!!! WOW! That went by in about a minute! Love this sketch book, Teoh. Great fun! TFS
I just love how confident your strokes are
Liked all of it, but loved the fish. Adorable and hilarious. Good job sweetie!!!

You always inspire me by your art.. I wanna thank you for that. I really enjoyed your art journal. Thanks for showing us..!
Liked the fish in gouache, good subjects for ink blobs. Tiny fish with bright colours around a blob of rock.
You are so talented. Thank you for sharing your sketchbook!
I love the jeeps. I’m not a car-person I don’t even drive but I always love your way of drawing vehicles.
The tree is brilliant!

I really love your use of color and your lines! Very fun to see and really inspires me to experiment more in my sketchbook.
Awesome, awesome, awesome sketchbook!
Teoh
I think you are ready to publish your own art book. 2:47 jeeps are spectacular!! 👌
Loved seeing your sketchbook! You tried out so many fun techniques. I bet Tiffany loves to look through this, it's so colorful!
I am definitely going to check out your Skillshare class!
That was my thought.
How fortunate Tiffany is,
to have a daddy making all of these wonderful books she can look through.
Too beautiful.
You are so good! I really like your style!

The Etchr sketchbook is awesome, other than the stitching. Your sketchbook is awesome👍👍, love it🔥

With this video I realized how important is the paper you choose
Very nice 👍 I’m thinking of trying out an echr wc sketchbook 🤔
Really nice!
Thanks Teoh. Maybe write on the page with pencil what was your objective for that page? To remember when u go through it again.
Thank you!!

Do you have a particular brand of colored pencils you prefer?
Faber Castell polychromos
It looks like some of the pages at the back would not open all the way. If you decided to finish this sketchbook completely what would you do with those pages?
Front and back pages are usually glued in a way that they cannot open flat. I just draw on single page instead of across the page gutter
@@teohyc Ok, thank you.

Ink blobs. Have you tried that psychiatry test with the ink blobs? Try turning ink blobs into a paintings, from your imagination.
