- A big finished Sketchbook tour is here! I experimented will all different mediums including acrylic, pencils, colored pencils, graphite, watercolor, gouache and more! I finally finished my sketchbook and I am so excited to share a super satisfying full flip-through of my most recent sketchbook! I loved creating all the art in this book and I am stoked to start another!
I hope you guys enjoy my sharing a little something I put my heart and soul into. I also hope it inspired you to create your own masterpieces in your sketchbook!

Honestly, she's the kind of artist my dad talks about. Taking inspiration from literally everything existing in this world. Your brain must be full of explosion all the time. You see a rock, next minute it's an art piece. You are one of the best thing happened to me this quarantine. Thank u Jess.

This is the best sketchbook I have ever seen, the precision of artwork especially the palms and hands , just awesome
Anyone else likes when the sketchbook is almost exploding with full pages and amazing art and colors that it barely can’t close?! I don’t like when the pages have one drawing that’s been drawn with a pencil and it’s not even colored. I like when it’s FILLED, it brings back so many memory and it’s more special and closer to your heart that way and wayyy more fun to look at and explore!❤️
Honestly you're so underrated!! I never thought that I'd actually be truly inspired by a youtuber. Now I'm gonna start using more mediums in my sketch book and experiment with color! You have such a unique art style and I'm sure you'll help me find mine too ❤ thx sm for these uploads!!

True. It's because we improve as we draw, so our latest sketchbooks have our best work. It's kinda like seeing a video of yourself when you were little, lol, you always feel annoyed or something like that.

The way you inspire me it’s crazy ! It just makes me want to pick my pencil and starts drawing! revisiting your sketchbook tours just for some inspiration and it really helped, everytime i watch your vedios i find something new to create of my own (inspired by your amazing works). you and your works are one of the reasons that really help me keep motivated and keep going everytime i don't feel like working

will you ever do a video about art block? i know you’ve mentioned before that you don’t believe it’s real and that’s just all in our minds but i’d love if you elaborate on it as a subject and perhaps give tips on getting it out of your system because i feel like i experience it year-round :)

Lovely sketcook, I'm happy to see that I saw most of the pieces being made in one video or another. Your work is really inspiring, not just the subjects but also the mediums that were used. I have to ask do, do you keep another sketchbook for rougher work or studies and such? I love seeing a nice sketchbook like this but it also makes me curious to see rougher work.

U can look at photography. Take a walk around ur parks.
A good idea I've heard and implement myself, is to think of a story behind what you wish to convey. Is it a story about colour, line-work, experimentation, or just an internal journey. When you think of what you wish to convey, let random things pop into your head and do some thumbnail sketches on scrap paper. The more you do, the more refined your idea becomes. Repeat this enough times and you'll accumulate a backlog of ideas to try in the future.

@@allisonknight2984 You're welcome. I find it really helpful in developing truly unique ideas. Because no-one can have the exact same, random ideas, pop into their heads. But it's the story which gives it a place to start. It can be as loose, or involved, as you want the story to be. I notice a few story themes, popping up in Jess's examples, which seem to centre around movement and self expression. She clearly wants to convey the human experience, through expressive line-work, light, colour and connectivity.
