What I wanted to tell you long ago: I started painting again because of you after almost 3 decades. (I thought I would have to concentrate a bit, I am a musician and a writer, both successful, but also time-consuming). Painting I missed so much over the years, a part of me missed it so infinitely, I was incomplete, but I did not want to admit it. Why, actually? I don't know. Then I discovered your videos this summer and knew: Eva, get out your paints (everything dried up, but by now I have enough to buy new what I need) and get going. Now I'm technically back where I left off so long ago, but with the perspective of a woman who has experienced life. The right time to get back into it. I am doing so much better! Thank you for your inspiration and zest for life. You were sent by an angel.

Im seriously so impressed, there wasn't a single letter that dropped the ball here.
Really exciting to see so many different styles and mediums and you leaned into their strengths so well. I'm a doodler and digital artist but this video has me itching to maybe try something like water color for the first time. my favorite one of this video was H with the inking and water color on top :)

You are one of the only artists on the whole of RUclips that is competent in more than 1 or 2 mediums. Very often someone will call themselves a pencil artist, or a watercolour artist, or an alcohol marker illustrator, but you use them all, from drawing with pencil, pens, inks, to painting with watercolour, gouache, acrylics, inks, and then you can also use pencils and markers. You are a truly amazing artist. Your ideas, skills, and abilities are amazing and I love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing your awesome skills with us lesser mortals. 😊

Hey Jess, I've been hooked on your videos ever since I watched your 100 heads challenge video. Your seemingly endless creativity, ability to portray emotions and ideas, and constant exploration and experimentation is so incredibly inspiring. I've been drawing and painting for 10 years but never have I come across such an absolutely, amazingly skilled and creative artist! I quite literally can't get enough of your art. Every time you upload, you manage to amaze and inspire me over and over again.
I'm sure you've heard all this praise, I just had to add to it too
I have one request. I know you're incredibly busy with projects, but if you're ever looking for something new to sell, consider an art book. A book of all the wonder and beauty that makes Jess's art. A singular place for someone to find inspiration. I'd love for something like that and I'm sure many others would too since your sketchbook tour videos are very popular.

How can I put into words that make sense, how emotional I became as I watched this. Every bit of energy that you poured into these letters was absolutely joyful to watch. The colors, the Metallic gold accents, the original characters.... all of it touched my Watercolor loving soul! I would love to get prints of them... I'd love to gift one for my 3 children... each with the 1st letter of their names! A, S and N.... ohhh I can't wait Jess. Thank You for making me tear up and smile so warmly in 2023!

What a great demonstration of creativity, skill, perseverance and story telling. Just a funny tidbit: in german the word "goal" translates to "Ziel" aka a word that starts with the last letter of the alphabet aka the final letter of your project :) Pretty fitting I would say.
Your art and videos always spark so much emotion in me. I started an anxiety medication recently that stabilizes my emotions. I struggle to just let go and cry. This increases my gratitude when someone actually moves me to tears. Thank you for bringing that part of me out. It makes me feel like me again. 💗

Dear Jess, you literally blew my mind.
I have been an illustrator for many years, but then I was diagnosed with MS, and my hands failed me. I can`t draw anymore which, for me, is worse than having to use a wheelchair.
But in my heart, I will always be an illustrator :)))
This was the first time that I've watched your creations.
More than once, this video triggered my deepest emotions. When you were sharing your thoughts, it was as if I was listening to myself :) You literally made me cry...
Everything you do from filming, contemplating, choosing the right music, environment, and lighting, presenting your thoughts, speaking in your soft voice, your different choices of media, and of course your realization of your ideas, and even your looks are pure perfection.
And when you finished the Alphabet with the letter Zet and decided to go with ZEN I got goosebumps when you said: "I channeled my inner child."
My little grandson`s name is Zen :)
It was a privilege to join you on this journey.

I only used one for planning here the dotted one :) the first time I hopped around from the lined one was bc I was not in the studio when I began planning and I just ended up cutting out the sketches and putting them in the dotted notebook and that’s all I used after that
