Well, Tony gave the Spidersuit to Peter before Rhodey fell from the sky. It makes sense for it to have a height-activated parachute though since Spidey doesn't have any form of propulsion

Im guessing in that movie Tony still had his suit online so before facepalming into the ground he managed to cushion his landing with his thrusters. Rhodey's suit just straight got disabled by vision's beam
And let's remember that Tony's suit isn't that great on iron man 1,yet some tank with auto aim shot him down several feet on the air and he's alright
Maybe it's out of place BUT DAMN is Sam Wilson a fricking flight god. I love that they gave it to him, his manouvers are just on point. He doesn't have the fire power but still can contribute greatly

Let's be real. It's for the best that Vision hit Rhodey instead of Sam. If that laser was powerful enough to take out Rhodey's arc reactor, it would NOT have stopped at Sam's wing pack. Sam doesn't even have any armor.
@Azaan Naqvi Either A) Vision was distracted by Wanda, or B) Wanda forced her way into Sam's head and telepathically told him Vision was about to open fire on him so he could dodge.
And even if it DID stop at Sam's wings and just disabled them, there's no way Sam would have survived like Rhodey did. Rhodey only survived because of his suit. So like you said, it's best case scenario that Rhodey got hit instead of Sam.
Are we ignoring the fact that Tony instructed Vision to turn the wings into a glider? He just asked Vision to take out the boosters on the back, so that Sam would be able to glide down and have a safe landing

This isn't vision's fault, he aimed for a very specific part of Sam's backpack so as to not kill him but shut down his thrusters. I call plot on Sam noticing and dodging a laser in mid-air

Eh tony's armor gets hit with dozens of G's when he's fighting other worldly threats and the armor magically takes all the impact damage. It's a fictional suit with fictional technology made by a fictional genius who is apparently an expert in every field of science/engineering.

This scene had me pissed at Tony AND Vision. Vision almost killed Sam AND disabled Rhodes’ suit, while Tony blasted Sam when all he did was say “I’m sorry.” Not only that, he flew after Rhodey when he fell instead of getting the hell out of there like any normal person would. Sam didn’t deserve that shit, none of this was his fault, Tony was an ass and Vision was reckless.
Vision's aim was to turn Falcon into a Glider, Falcon can glide with just his wings. I agree with Tony being an ass tho
I believe their relationship will be good again, they have the potential to dispel enemies from the sky who may be wearing some kind of super glove.

From this scene, I feel like Tony was angry and frustrated at himself. He wanted to capture the heroes but ended up getting his best friend injured, which is why he muted the raft and asked for Caps location as well as not telling Thaddeus Ross about the location. He also made truce with Bucky and Cap until Baron revealed his parents death.
Because, Tony learns from his mistake!

Her guilt over her past Drove her to Tony's side, her friendship with Cap brought her back to the other side. They flesh out why she did it pretty well.

It's not like they were expecting to fight each other, she just thought she'd be continuing on like usual just under the accords now. Obviously you can see at the end, when it came to choosing Tony or Cap, she chose to side with Cap at the end. But that doesn't mean that at the start she couldn't think Tony was in the right.

Tony started including an emergency parachute, but War Machine is the stolen early model that didn't have one, and apparently the military never saw fit to include one. Also, since War Machine had a complete power failure (unlike Tony's later suits, War Machine is entirely powered by the single arc reactor), it wouldn't have deployed anyway. The armor was dead.
@@gatherer818 since Rhodey first stole the War Machine suit, he and Tony have been on hundreds of missions together and Im sure he has had ample oppurtunity to work on Rhodes' suit. If the armour doesnt have an emergency power source then that is another design failure.

Vision was taking care of Wanda, plus since Vision was so far away the chances of him getting there were slim. Plus, he literally got there after, chances are he went straight there to try save him.

Black Panther Rhinos were the worst CGI, from the MCU. Aside from the Sonic super soldier sprints, these one's were good!
Plus I love the reference with Iron Man 1, but without Jarvis (or even Friday). It hurts terribly. Thank God, aside from power outage, Rhodey can still move freely. He should get an assistant though. How about Google, Siri or Alexa now Tony's gone 😆

In a physical fight with friends, no one is usually trying to kill each other, its more of trying to incapacitate each other to the point that its clear they cant go on, and so that there is a clear winner.
