He could also listen to Batman here and apologize for any damage done and what was and wasn't his fault. That solves 3 issues:
1.Batman would realize Superman has an earth mother and that he lives amongst humans passively since he is protecting his mother
2.the name Martha would trigger Batman since his mom has the same exact name and cause him to think more rationally and it would incite guilt (unknowingly to Superman but we know) to Batman.
3."We are being set up" would show he is in this with Batman not against him and that he has the humanity to say he was wrong about Bruce and Bruce was wrong about Clark. He could also listen to Batman here and apologize for any damage done and what was and wasn't his fault.
Batman would have had a lot more trust had he went this route but hey they gotta have the fight somehow right?

@@opsroom5105 Don't really understand your point as in its different to other super hero movies or its just a unique Superman story? i didn't mind this movie my biggest problem was Metropolis and Gotham lacked any character Metropolis should've looked like a Retro futurism 1950s Art Deco city while Gotham should've looked like a high gothic Dystopian city where every building looked unique like the animated series or Tim burtons movies. But overall didn't mind them movie.

the music did great job at tell the story during the fight. it elevate and convey the emotion. the story of the fight scene by scene told through the music which is deliver a powerful spectacle
