DAY SIX - GROUND (20 minute yoga flow) //

- Welcome to Day Six of #JOURNEY2YOU. Today is a beautiful 20 minute GROUNDING flow. I know for me a lot of the time my energy swirls in my higher chakras. I think a lot and feel a lot so it is important to find things that ground me. Today we are focusing on that root chakra that sits at the base of our spines. This flow is opposite to the RISE flow we started with on day one. Today we are bringing energy down into the lower chakras and connect to the earth. When was the last time you took your shoes off and walked barefoot on the ground? If you can’t remember that is your sign to get outside and do it. The earth is full of powerful cleansing grounding energy so use this opportunity to literally plug your charger in and take all that juicy energy in.

Halfway through I paused the video, took a moment to appreciate the birds chirping outside, grabed my mat and went out in our garden to finish. That was such a relieving flow🥺
Grounding. During a busy month and chaotically full last week, this practice came perfect. Feeling the earth, it’s features, it’s energy. Release into me. Fill up my cup.
I absolutely love love love Jen, I was sad her practice was no longer available on the Tone and Sculpt app, BUT I was so happy to hear it was so she can progress into the beautiful mom she is today and her new life. Thank God for RUclips though, idk why I didn’t think of it before! 😅❤
I'm not on track with the challenge, but I wanted to share that I loved this flow. It helped me loads to feel more grounded over my lunch hour!
I’m so wobbly today 😊 I have another excuse to have another go to practice my balance. I feel great from following my journey and feel like I’m improving everyday.

What a challenging flow. I enjoyed it a lot and I love the thought of grounding. I really imagined my roots setting into the ground, getting the nutrients from the earth and releasing. 😌

Great flow, really enjoyed the transitions. Made me realise how much I need to connect more with Earth and the ground beneath me. I totally relate to you when you mentioned how there’s a lot of energy up in the mind. I’m gonna step outside and walk on grass fields to recharge and balance my energy. Thanks Jen for all the awareness you’re sharing with us!
A lot later in the day for me, but got it in! I love having the consistency this challenge help me through a stressful time at work!

Loved this flow; felt so calming yet powerful and energising. My fav part was the walking tree pose … not done anything like that before. Jen I absolutely love your transitions; they just work so beautifully. Again love using all the mat coming up and down it. Just a perfect day six 🧘🏽♀️♥️

Today was tough for me to motivate myself to do this! Mondays are normally packed with work and getting the week started. I'm so glad I did this at the end of my work day. Grounding was exactly what I needed! Thank you.

This was beautiful exactly what I needed today as I was feeling so flat.

Completed day six today. By far the best one yet. These low lunge twists felt INCREDIBLE 😍. And also at the end I was so happy to be able to finish it off in my crow pose, I was honestly so proud of myself 🤩. Thank you Jen💚
Jen!!! My thighs are BURNING!!! But I loved this grounding sequence! Much needed and I really enjoyed it and was able to challenge myself. I'm currently taking a mindfulness courses as well and have been making a conscious effort to be more mindful with my thoughts throughout today and I am very happy that I was able to challenge myself and be aware that when my thoughts/ego was saying this was difficult and I couldn't do it I could redirect my thoughts to let that flow by and keep going!
Done ✅ today was 🔥 but I definitely feel more grounded now and needed it today!

Todays yoga practice in combination with the day 2 mantra was just grounding and freeing at the same time. I had the feeling I could safely let my emotions go into the earth. Thank you for that lovely flow ❤️

Day 6 ✔ This was by far the most challenging but it felt sooo so good! Took some time to walk barefeet in my backyard after doing this. First time I ever intentionally did so. With the sunlight on me and the wind blowing, it was amazing!

I rarely do grounding but I actually really love doing it (usually do it when I’m holiday where it’s hot!) but I’ll try it in the cold today hahah. Fiery on my legs but felt so great. Thank you! Day 6 done! It’s going so fast!!
My quads were on 🔥for today's flow! Funnily enough I missed fitting this one in yesterday around leg day haha. Can't wait to finish this series strong, thank you for these classes!
