- Welcome to Day Nine of #JOURNEY2YOU. It is our penultimate day on the mat together and I am so proud of every single one of you for making it this far. It takes a lot of commitment to stay this consistent so well done to you! Today is our second opportunity for letting go. Today our flow is called SURRENDER. It is about the art of complete surrendering, of non-attachment to all things good or bad. I will never forget learning about the Tibetan buddhist practice of creating mandalas out of sand. They sit for hours creating these beautiful pieces of art only to finish it and a moment later sweep the sand away with no fear, no attachment to what they had created. So think about this today as you move on your mat. How can you surrender and just when you thought you’ve surrendered enough, can you let go even more?

Surrendering is such a hard thing for my anxious brain to grasp, which is why I'm so happy this challenge has got me back to doing daily yoga, as it's really helped me with it before. Thank you Jen for that 🤍
Just grateful that my body was able to do this in place of my more intense work out since I’m ill today. Love being able to just listen to what my body needs and move it with grace when I need to! 💕
'Detach, let go and let life flow' - I love the fluidity of your words Jen 🌊...and also the sand mandala story - recognising that everything in life is transient can feel so freeing. Day 9 done - what a beautiful journey we've all started together ❤
I think surrendering is the hardest part for me even though I trust in myself and my ability. It’s refreshing to be reminded to do that. Loved all the twisting throughout, really made me breathe deeper and feel that! One more day left - crazy!! Thank you!
Sometimes surrendering or giving up control is quite hard for me so todays flow reminded me again that you just have to surrender. Thank you Jen🤍
This one was tough, on the mind more than on the body. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I’ll keep remembering the Tibetan Monks every time I struggle with letting go. Can’t wait for Day 10!
Day 9 ✔ The flow today was fire! I found myself struggling quite a bit, but I decided to just see them as a test of surrendering to my body. To let go and trust that my body can handle it. Love it!
How is it day nine already! I have absolutely loved this journey and today was just beautiful. Letting life flow… letting go what a wonderful way to be. Definitely taking that on board in my life. Also loved the lion breath and birthday breath. Thanks Jen xxx
Finished day 9 and I don't want this challenge to end! It has been challenging and fun and truly helped me hop back on my yoga grind! Literally the main thing i look forward to every day for the past 9 days is hopping on my mat for these 20 minutes!
Day 9 was epic! I loved it💃🏼 The sequence helped to feel myself as strong and powerful. I couldnt join the class in morning and now I finished it. This sweet tiredness will help me on sleeping. Thanks Jen! See you tomorrow♥️
While my friend and I were waiting for the upload of today‘s practice, we talked about our attachment to personal belongings that just declutter our home. That today‘s practice was about surrendering and letting go couldn‘t have been more fitting. We felt heard. Thank you 🙏🏼

Had a very long and exhausting day and was already planning on my way home to skip this today and go earlier to bed. But then I saw myself a few days ago when I started this and had this commitmend. I needed to bring this 20min on the mat and I loved it, so relaxing and refreshing. I am proud I had this discipline to get me into a better headspace and emotions 😇

Day 9 done!! The lions breath was a new one for me, even though I felt silly, it felt great! Also starting to become how impressed on how my stepping from my downward facing dog to forward full is getting easier!❤️❤️

I chose to stop saying I can’t something. In yoga thinking I can go from lunge to chair or lord of the flies then finishing realizing I have a scary event today and that I can do it!
Quite difficult but a very nicely constructed sequence. Not yet able to let go though!
I’m so wobbly today. Think I’m going to have to try some of these moves again. Can you recommend any books for the things you talk about at the beginning, maybe you could write one in the future? Thank you for today
