I've had people ask me to deliver stuff they buy. I say sure, but I start at $50 and it goes up by how long my round trip is. They ask why they have to pay for my time back home when gas isn't that expensive! I responded that they can rent a U-Haul for more $$ if they'd like.
Now, people will have to pay upfront before delivery takes place! I'm tired of showing up to no one at the house when I arrive!!!

I just love that the "HELLO???" usually follows around a minute after the first text. As if the other person is just eagerly sitting there, doing nothing all day but waiting for that amazing offer of 0$ and imaginary exposure. I had posted that I was done with my rummage sale, and was just going to leave the rest of the stuff (Little Tikes kid toys, etc.) on the curb, free to anyone wanting to pick them up. They wanted me to GET OUT OF BED and go out into the dark to see if the FREE items were still there, so they wouldn't have to drive over here for nothing.
I'm curious who that artist is. As a commission artist as well, I really respect the patience and professionalism some of these artists display. I think they handled the CB very professionally and I'd like to support them. Great job whoever you are, I hope to support your efforts one day.

My son is a professional chef and he gets that all the time. He has some of his own ideas that he has created himself. So when people find out what skills he has they want him to do it for free or do it and expect tips.
