It's called professionalism and rules and policies.
The higher ups were not in the situation, and so the only thing they "see" is a nurse who could not keep her cool when confronted with an angry patient. So to them, this nurse is breaching policies and not being professional, and must be disciplined. I understand their decision from a purely logical point of view, even if I (emotionally) am completely with her, because she's acting in a way I would imagine many would, especially given how traumatic the situation was.

Honestly, with out it being an understandable rage fit, on a deep, human level, that kind of behavior would understandably get someone fired. And they should be. So, considering the situation, and context, I'd say it's an easy to stomach punishment. And the sensitivity training bit being tacked on is likely just standard policy. LOT of places do it to save face for the company and the person involved.
And considering she had her coworkers stand up for her, I'm glad she got to have thast moment with rrlatively minor backlash. Sometimes shit can be stressful.

GET IT CLEANED NOW YOU F’ING SL*T!” Honestly if I could help in this situation, I’d call the cops for I can’t really re call what’s it called but it’s something like Underage Labor or something like it. Then I’d tell them about the assault the parents do to her. Then I’d get her out of the house and call CPS myself. (Which I’ve dealt with CPS before getting shot in the arm-pit with a Red Ryder airsoft gun. Over that. It didn’t even hurt that much considering I was about 8-9.)

She needs to have everything taken away from her and as soon as she has something it should be taken away. 3. Have both of her legs cut off and she can only crawl on her hands for the rest of her life. 4. Have every fingernail ripped off slowly with pliers. 5. Run over with a tank and left there for a week ( not fully run over, so shes still breathing) and that ladies and gentlemen is a punishment.

I actually have experienced abuse and still am. The first time I watched this video I didn't know so yeah people don't realize because they're so used to the abuse and its so sad. If your parent hits you its abuse. If you parents continuously insult you IT IS ABUSE. There are serious types of abuse like sexual abuse but mental and physical abuse are also very common. My parents did the last 2 and i still don't know if I had sexual abuse because I was so young and my life from when i was little was so foggy cause i hated to remember it. Sorry for the long comment. Just don't stand by and accept insults and don't let your parents manipulate you by saying if you do this then you'll get this and putting a lot of pressure on you for it. I experience this with my mother so I hate to see it happen with others. I love you all and I support you all. Thanks if you got this far. I love you guys and you're an amazing community!

Child endangerment for the baby in the van And her child
      The car accident as well

this is the problem with the law in many countries, they treat what this woman did as "causing death by dangerous driving" or "vehicular manslaughter", and the sentencing for this is, for some reason, MUCH more lenient that manslaughter, even though it also meets the definition of manslaughter. Personally, I believe that it should receive the same level of sentencing as normal manslaughter charges, which are more like 10-25 years depending what country/state you're in.

I don't see how it is any different than a doctor killing a baby while it is being born. The doctor just sticks a tube up the vagina and into the baby's soft skull and then the baby's brains are sucked out using a pump. The other way it is done is the spinal cord at the base of the brain is snipped. It's the same thing as this drunk woman killing an 18month old baby.

That it wasn't normal to get dragged into your room by your hair for "having an attitude" or to get hit with basically anything within my mother's reach. Narc parents are really good at making their children think the abuse is what they need to be better behaved even when most of the time what the children were doing were either normal child behavior or reactions to long term abuse. I hope that OP can get away from her toxic family soon if they haven't already.

I can’t believe I missed this one, I’ve been following you for about a year and a half now... the sentence I’d give to that mother would probably be the same as the judge because depending on what country she was sent back to, I’d say it’s probably a safe bet that her being in a U.S. prison wouldn’t be to much of a punishment for her, but being sent back to the country she thought was bad enough to flee from was probably a much harsher punishment than five years in U.S. prison.. but I would personally have added on a bit extra. I’d deport her but have her country’s government carry over the charge and sentence her to five years in THEIR prison (and depending on the crime judges can do this because a heinous enough crime would be seen as unacceptable in their country as well. And considering what she did it’s pretty safe to say that they’d agree)

Let’s remember the fact that this lady came into our country illegally and killed an innocent child. Five years is no justice for what that lady has taken away from that family, and I could think of so many other ways to bring justice, but none of them will be a satisfaction for what has been taken away so soon.
Prayers for that family who knows how long ago that happened. I hope they have peace.

Rslash is so right at the end, kids sometimes don't recognize wrong behavior until we're adults. My moms dog pooped inside when I was 12 and I saw it so I said something about it. My mom told me to clean it and "throw her outside". I picked up the poop then went to set the dog in the yard but my mom said "no, you drag her by her collar and throw her outside!" I didn't want to do it but my mom was yelling and when I was a kid I would do ANYTHING to get out of her cross hairs. I grabbed the dogs collar, walked her to the door and pushed her out with a bit of force. I felt really bad because she always had these sad Teddy bear eyes. Before the dog could run, my mom said "no, you do it like this!" She dragged the dog back inside, held her at elbow height, and literally THREW this mini schnauzer as hard as she could. The door was on the side of our house and we had a fenced in yard. We have a walkway from the door to the backyard so the fence is only like 2 feet from the door. The sound her body made when it hit the fence still sticks with me to this day.
I thought this is how you potty train dogs so I just must not have been a dog person...

Unfortunately, sentencing to life are never given if one person dies unintentionally, however, the usual sentencing for those kinds of charges tend to be MUCH stricter, I'm 25 years max in Canada (a son killed his father with a hammer or something similar as the son pretty much DESTROYED his head with 40 blows, then after a few years got 12 years in prison due to a trial mistake, which he only spent maybe 3 years, so if guilty he will get life if it's 1st degree, which is life) but sense she was an illegal immigrant, she would likly be judged at their home state, or so that's what my understanding of the general legal system works

I still think that wouldn't be enough punishment, I want those people to SUFFER, really suffer, whilst working to death, in conditions worse than those in Gulags, and be used for every single bit of testing that can be done, from beneficial things, to outright cruel and sadistic shit.

You’re kidding me, right? Sensitivity training? That’s so unfair. I’m glad she didn’t get fired, and I understand grabbing a patient by the hair is not the most professional thing to do, but she’s not the one who needed sensitivity training.

It reminded me of a story I read on Instagram. Some lady was born without a hand, or lost it in an accident, or something and had a prosthetic hand. She parked in a disabled parking spot, and some able bodied Karen got pissy at her so she took her prosthetic hand off and threw it at the women
