That's right, this entitled mommy expects a stranger to babysit their child for WEEKS without paying her $1. Then, when OP gets upset and tells her to stop, the entitled mother gets angry and badmouths them to the neighborhood! The whole kid story. Girl I would've called CPS the day he sat outside my house for 3 hours. CPS is there for this reason, no matter how scary, you need to protect the child.

    • @crazyweirdgirl115

exactly! That would be my first thought. The mother is actively putting her child in danger and not looking after him.

@@crazyweirdgirl115 i think the best was was to talk to the father of the kid... AND if he is also insane as his wife, than CPS is a correct address.
The story tells is all, the woman herd bad stories about CPS. I have no experience but i know from various sources, that it is not nice and good for a child to go to CPS.
I really feel sorry for the small 7y.o. kid, he's the victim in this story and it's very hard for me to tolerate that a child was treated that way, and i personally don't even have a child my self...
Hope he has a good father, because his mother is not worth anything.

I grew up in the system, and for this reason I have NEVER called CPS on anyone, for the child's sake, foster homes are rampant with abuse, and once you're in the system if you are abused by your foster parents NO one will believe you, because "those kids have problems, they make up stuff all the time!" Foster parents have sex with these kids, take their medication, and fill there houses with the maximum number of kids for a paycheck, not all of them, but alot. My foster sister just aged out of a group home she was forced into after she got labeled a runaway, because no one would believe are foster dad was sleeping with her so she ran. Foster Care is not a safe haven, I literally never know if the hell a child is currently dealing with is better or worse then what they would deal with in the system. Don't get me wrong I'm sure there are great foster parents out there, but certainly not enough for me to risk making that call. That's why people don't just call CPS.

Also there's no such thing as a child's sex offenders list. There's just the one. That's why there's a movement for reform. There is only one list, US, Canada and the UK, so, at least in the US you have people on that list who when they were underage shared nudes of other underage kids (distribution of child porn), people who pissed in public etc. next to serial child rapists, people who have molested children, real pedophiles etc.. It's a real problem and it needs to be changed because it fucks over your entire life being on that list when you may not have done something heinous.

After a few days of having this kid at my house every day/night I quickly realized his parents give give 2 cares about him. After finally meeting the kids parents I also realized they were on drugs really bad. It got to where I had him every day. Sending him to school, doing homework, feeding and buying him clothes. The parents would be gone for days at a time. This went on for almost a year and then one day they called him over to their house and poof, they're gone. I've never seen the boy sense then. I was crushed. I started to love this boy like my own. I know I should've turned them in but I didn't want them to take him away and I didn't know what would happen to him if I did that. This was about 5yrs ago and I regret not doing something about it every day. I also wonder what happened to the boy after that. It's like a piece is missing now.

Now now, no need to be rude to us! Besides, artists can make money, so it is a "real job". (You probably didn't read that the way I intended, but whatever. You get the point)
Edit: my friend does art too, so yeah. Even though we don't do art for money, we shouldn't stop doing art just because "it's not a real job" art is fun, and, especially now, it's really our only source of fun. We don't live near each other, don't worry, we talk through Roblox, and my friend is in another country. I actually had to do that once. I just called the non-emergency line. A kid had appeared in the house I was dog sitting in covered in dirt. I put the dogs in a different room and tried to call the home owner. She didn't answer. So I asked the little girl where she lived and she freaked. She wouldn't go home, wouldn't go anywhere, ran away from her brother, and kept saying her daddy would whoop her. She seemed sweet, well dressed, and familiar with the house... but I couldn't get her to go back home. So I cleaned her up and called non-emergency. I felt bad. I didn't really think she was abused, but her fear of getting spanked seemed a little... much. She was hanging out with a stranger in a house full of dogs three times her size (she was terrified of them) to get away from a spanking. I hope nothing bad happened to her parents, but the owner of the house screamed at me for it. I guess I should have just kept the girl for all eternity or until a frantic mother appeared.

A parent I didn't know sent her daughter home with my three girls and two of their friends. I had the kid for a week. I had no clue who this kids parents were. When they showed up at the end of the week I had sent all six kids to a summer camp I volunteered at so I got a discount. They knocked and I looked at them blankly and said "girl? What girl?" They called the cops and I explained that I had no clue if these where her parents or not because I had never met them. I thought the kid was a camp member left for me to give a lift to. They had to pay the full price for the week at camp.... $800 I was sad for the little girl. She was sweet.

I probably wouldn't actually do this, but the malicious part of my mind says just keep the kid. See if she even notices him missing, and if she does tell her she can have him back when she pays me for the babysitting (and charge way more than a legit daycare). If she calls the cops, turn it around on her and tell them that she has been abandoning her kid at my place DAILY and that I was keeping him there because I was worried about him being neglected.
This is especially the case because (from a VERY quick google search) the 3 month rule that @CrankThatYee mentioned seems to be fairly universal.

Or actually, don't give EP:s anything that can be used as a weapon. They might end up harming others for having their Entitlement infringed on. And then they'll play the blame game.

This whole kid story had me really thinking
    1. What if the kid would have been kidnapped from the op's porch when he was left there alone for three hours! And who would the entitled mother blame? Op. And the dad will too, considering that he thinks op was the babysitter of his child that he was paying for. Police would be called on op and maybe even the child protective serves to take op's children. I am not saying op would be definitely put in prison but the damage would be definitely done. And what abt the kid?! Did nobody think that there are horrible human beings out there that would absolutely love the opportunity to kidnap an unsupervised kid??!!!
    2. Abt the car incident. The same thing! What if smth happened to the kid, what if he was kidnapped or smth??? Who would the parents blame again? Op! And again police and child protective services would be involved and not in op's favor
    3. Ok, smth less extreme. What if the kid had some sort of disability or some allergy that would have resulted in the kid being hurt. Who would be blamed by the parents? Op. And again it would probably cause trouble for op, probably not as extreme as in my first 2 examples but still.
In no way, shape or form am I trying to blame op for what had happened. Enritled mother is entirely to blame. I don't know what I would have done either in this situation. Probably call the police. I'm not from the US and I don't know the situation with the child protective services, however, maybe cps would be a better option than allowing the em to continue endangering her own child over and over again. At the very least op could have talked to the father as well and if he was insane too, then call the police and cps after another incident. And trust me, the entitled mother would have definitely blamed the op if anything happened to her kid and would definitely lie to the father and police abt the whole thing, maybe even use the father's payment and the fact that op took the kid in several times already as the evidence. And once again I AM NOT BLAMING OP! I am sorry if I sound like I do, but what I want to say is that if anyone tries on you what entitled mother did to op, please make it as clear as possible that such behavior is not to be tolerated for the sake of your own and the kid's health and safety!

@@Paul-fp3qn You can tell from the fact that to abuse someone sexually you have to have sex with them and only guys that do get sex at 14 ( was it 14? whatever) are the ones that go out with partying hoes that do drink and smoke weed at those parties. Secondly yes most guys untill about 18 are just about that clueless when it comes to approaching girls. They simply watch from afar too scared of women to take any sort of action. See... stalking is modern problem. Why? Well because 100 years ago for a person to be labeled an abuser or creep it took more than girl's talk. So while I actively support sentiment you express... see that women never tells us how did he abuse her sexually while has a whole list of behaviours she finds unwelcome listed down to smallest detail. It's not how this works. If someone wants to be trustworthy he should share at least a bit more detailed description.
Oh and one thing 100 women's word is a word of one women. Don't fool yourself thinking that if more women say something it's more credible. Women are taught to support eachother even if it means false claims.
