After watching this I noticed this is exactly Australia... Penal colony, abundance of gold mines, lots of sugar and rum, owned by British, surrounded by Sharks, well bloody done you made Australia 2 (new Zealand is Australia 1.5)
I'd just like to point out that new Zealand was never a penal colony, and we don't like being associated with Australia (bastards keep stealing our stuff, pavlova was a kiwi invention, damn it!)
And with this high level of Crown appreciation and raw cash you can do another Australian thing if/when you decide to progress out of the colonial era: A clean, friendly independence that still maintains close political ties!

sims3 as djinn-creatures, you can mind-control any number of NPCs
(up to your houshold limit of 8 (non-pet) player characters at any moment) and they temporarily become a playerCharaacter. a mind control lasts for 4 ingame hours, can be cancelled without range limit and recast for free infinitely (wake djinn must be nearby). a sims3 djins only problem is getting enough sleep, while you control its up to 7 slaves.
you quicly end up selling your slaves vehicles for 1k to 90k per vehicle, and sell 3k per laptop.
you constantly hunt for the wealthiest most skilled people, and initially sent most of them to your garden or painting/writing /hacking farm.
we are 2 djinn creatures, because one stays at the home base and maintains it, while the other searches for NPCs away from home. we are not more than that, because we need the 6 free slots to fill it with the most skilled NPCS. these are not initial djinns, because they initially lack any relevant skills, besides being djinns.
a djinn also almost obsoletes basic needs for showering/bathing, because they also have a "clean any sim for free" spell.
in less than 6 ingame days money becomes worthless to you because you have so much of it, you just sold so many cars from mondcontrolled NPCs.
Then its all about training the djinn and cloning it in the hospital or with a potion.
sadly a djinn can not mind control people in the university, for example, to earn 250 currency for posing as a nude model, or to pay them rent to live with them, or to do all the fun stuff of the university addon.

I honestly thought that this was just how you were supposed to play the game. Keep going as long as possible to have the strongest possible economy set up before you're forced to advance ages. The big question though is does the crown slowly stop offering mandate extensions like in previous games? If they do just keep offering them forever, then this is mega-broken.
the problem in this game was that the economy doesnt work after the colonial era, dont know if its fixed but you couldnt keep up in money even using the most profitable efficiency exploits

You can just stay in the colonial era forever but you will only make about 1 or 2 millions dollars in total but using banks in the cold war era you can make billions of dollars in just a few years of ingame time
if you took the Hagia Sophia, it completely eliminates deaths from poor healthcare, and it would greatly increase health happiness
And Samarkand one makes all children Highschool educated, which is OP if you’re doing lots of World Wars and Cold War vertical integration (which he was not)

If there was to be a true revolution, there should have been more incentive for the colony to leave, why would a successful, happy colony leave, when they are happy and taken care of? Most revolutions arise out of awful living conditions, or a deep general unhappiness. Well done.
Well, in the game, it's more the governor who want to become El Presidente and be free.... except that the player had exactly the same liberty as a colony than as a dictator XD

In Sims games, painters are broken. They get entertainment from painting and you get money from selling the paintings. A guide I found somewhere suggested having a painting troll in a closed-off basement away from your more "respectable" sims, but I say, make ALL your sims into painters who do nothing but eat, sleep, and paint. Over-saturate the market with painters? Impossible, we need even *more* painters!
Pretty much the same situation in Cultist Simulator. You can paint to get rid unwanted influences or put them in stasis. You can generate mystique to distract investigators to touching your infamy and generate evidence, or you can paint with infamy to put them in stasis for the duration. It also generate mad bank and occasionally let you create mind-numbing painting of elder gods for all your occult activities!

In the Sims 3, it's so much easier to just play for tips in a subway. You can make over one grand in an hour at 8 skill.
Play medieval 2 or any other total war game and don’t expand, just stay at your starting province(s), expand your economy and only defend
Wood Elves wouldn't be cheating. You have to take nearly all the map to get the Amber needed to win. Unless you were able to play the diplo game well enough to get it from allies. But they love to declare war on one another.

what that basically means is... the world keeps advancing while the glorious nation of tropico still doesnt have running water. I Played colonial for a LONG time and when I finally did cross over into the "world wars" it was *1980* ... So yea, unless thats fixed its going to be pretty awkward to play beyond this point :P
