As Spiff is monopolizing and destroying the economy, he's also making time to pursue a personal vendetta against the family who threw a fit after he robbed them blind in exchange for an alliance and then broke the alliance. I'm not sure they could have gotten off easier by just accepting the new alliance, but their doom might have involved less punching.

Great job Spiff! Lots of interesting exploits with good explanations of how they work, an interesting narrative along the way, and solid editing. Your videos are as good as ever. To many more! 🍻
If you want to exploit the game, the best one I've found are the distant markets. Once you've unlocked them, just wait for those events where certain places are in need of specific goods. Then just buy and sell. Since you can use the same dock to buy from multiple locations, you don't even have to go back to the various marketplaces on your map. Just buy gear from the places that don't need the specific good, and you're good to go. Even better, sometimes one of them have a sale on the very stuff the other one need. When I first found it, it took me like 15 minutes to have more gold then I could ever spend in the game. Though in truth, at that point the game became utterly boring. So use the exploit at your own risk. It truly does break the game for me at least. An hour or two of game play, just enough to open up those distant markets and that's it. Now you just need to wait for the first "This place is experiencing a severe lack of these goods". And you can make enough money in 15 minutes to buy anything you want.
Funnily enough, with Arthurian myth being written by the French and them absolutely loving courtly love (adultery), naming your character Lance A-lot means you are universally loved by the French nobility. Congratulations.
Donald Trump would have been a more fitting name, the art of the deal has truly been mastered. “Ser I shall buy your entire stock of torches for a whopping 105 gold each! Oh! Looks like you are out of torches. Well, you can buy mine for a measly 116 gold each!” Masterful.
