I wished you guys lived closer too me, I'd show you every trick in the world about bicycles and motorcycles, I've thought about doing the YT thing, but I'm much to lazy, and I don't think people would like waiting a year to see a bike project completed, lol, your a great dad to John,👍, thanks for sharing guys.
one of those 70's banana seat chopper style handlebars... I would also suggest cutting that whole frame head off and welding in a bicycle frame head that you can get parts for at walmart
"John Connor... come with me if you want live..." LOLOL Regular wheel bearing grease is the correct type... since it has a bicycle type handlebar connection, just find a high rise set of handlebars from a 20 inch bike
Great video, I have a question/problem maybe you could help or someone reading this my lawnmower foot trottle is hard to push when the engine is running but when it's off the trottle moves so smooth why would it be doing that?
You created a monster....the bike or John? LOL. Gotta get 'em outside and working on and tinkering with stuff when they're young like that, gives them at least some sort of mechanical knowledge that they can use the rest of their lives.
A bicycle headset would have worked just fine on that project. Just have to measure the ID of the head tube and the OD of the handlebar quill to get the correct size. I use marine grease on all my bicycles. It works just fine and is less likely to be affected by water Intrusion.

The marine grease will be fine but the anti seize may prove to back fire in time

Reminds me of working on my bike cycle forks.

I thought the same but found several sales pics with them the direction they are.
