Great to see John having some shop time as always. Another year or so and he'll be stealing the show LOL. Gotta love all those no-name Chinesium toys. Surprised you are able to find parts, that's a good thing though, but what a pain it must be tracking stuff down. John's having fun with that mini-bike that's the most important thing...who cares about the cold HAHA!!!
Great job!! It's always a blessing to see such positive interaction! Years from, stories of today and such will still be affront and told often. Great job to both you! Blessings and respect!
Hey my friend make sure you keep an eye on the front axle nuts loosening, I was riding my aunts Minni chopper just like that and they were chasing me in the golf cart when the front wheel came off while I was going pretty fast with it. I went head over tea kettle with it. They had it for 3 days. Just a heads up. It's a fun little toy.
BEING A DAD TO A SON IS GREAT BEING INTO THIS PETROL HEAD STUFF... IT'S NOT THE SAME PLAYING BARBIE'S WITH THE DAUGHTER BUT SHE'LL STILL COME OUT FOR HER GO ON THE MUDDER. 👍 HAVE FUN JOHN 👊 HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL ..
Interesting the difference in the designs. Never looked at before. What's up with that bar on the back? That'd scare me, less chance to eject. . Finally, is there something up with like that or the certain Harley Davidson models that was or were killing people with the death wobble?
When I first started watching John was just little now he's in the shop doing projects with you maybe go powersports might have some answers on the bike and maybe the parts you need
I have the same bike, my factory gas tank had like wings of some sort on both sides with a letter V in the center, not sure of model or name, the forks has an adjuster that breaks on almost all of them including the APC,, I have both, most parts are the same, handle bars, lights, etc. both are welded now the APC was welded when I got ahold of it. anyone know what the letter V stands for ? and the blinker and headlight bulb model numbers? links ?
Your right it's not a apc looks like it but yes they had dual tires but usually bikes that have the ignition where that one is on the side I would say that came factory electric and someone converted it I have a few older bikes that have that and most are well where electric check my channel out I do same stuff love watching y'all john is going to be a small engine genius

I love seeing you spending quality time with John in the garage
This has been a fun project. We will see what else we can fix up on it in time.

Having brakes is always good. I started riding dirt bikes when I was about John's age and the weather didn't matter.
Bike is so COOL Jonathan and Dad! I can remember the day when I had one!

Brakes are ok,but if he ever decides to have ago at flat-tracking then you're gonna have to take them back off 😁
Find a bike shop that can make a cable.
