Hi ☺️ I’m probably your oldest viewer (60 … 61 this year) and I enjoy how non -snobby you are! I got my first tattoo at 56 and now have a few, inc. one that goes towards my thumb and nearly to my elbow and an inner ear tattoo 🙂 … people that I know tend to be politely ‘raised eyebrows’ at me and a little bit insulting! I’ve got two children in their 20s and 30s who love tattoos too and who I got my first ones with which was lovely! My husband has zero tattoos but supports while not understanding my choices 😂. So, stop saying your old cos I’m already more than twice your age!! Thanks for not making out your perfect - it makes people like me feel it’s ok to just go my own way! Xxx

Girl, I see you had doubts about having any viewers for Ukraine - I'm form Poland we share a border with Ukraine. I am sure there are people from Ukraine here and your support means a lot! Here in Poland in my uni we are raising food, clothes and hygiene products for those in need. We even open our homes to refuges!
What is interesting - Polish people also offer to take care of pets, that people from Ukraine bring with them! Our government lifted restrictions about taking animals through the border and now you don't even need any paper form the vet to take your animal with you!.

Lauren, these videos are evidence of your hard work and dedication. I and many others are grateful and appreciative of everything you create. The decision of how much/long you talk is yours and yours alone. Of course constructive feedback is inherent in such mediums, but people need to get a grip and realize they are not the main character in every story thus they can not control everything and everyone.

I actually ran out into a snow storm 2 weeks ago to get my most recent tattoo so I get battling the weather in the name of new tattoos.
I'm getting ready to email my artist v soon! It's been tough trying to work it out with money and having some health things being in the way. I think I can finally add a piece to my right sleeve. 🌞
I had a dream last night that I got my knees tattooed, it’s something I’ve been thinking about and finding inspo pics for. Anyway, in the dream I was pleasantly surprised that it felt like my knees were being massaged… I know there’s no way it’ll feel like that irl but one can hope 😅

I’ve been saving up to get a tattoo and I’ll have about $800 (American) in May and then I will FINALLY be able to get a tattoo. This will be my first tattoo since my rose I got in spring 2019. It’s been tooooo long! I’m getting a color traditional/neo-traditional evil frog sitting on & controlling a brain to represent my bipolar 1 mental illness diagnosis for when I go manic (feels like an evil frog is attacking and controlling my brain when I’m manic).

Watched this cosy in bed as I had an unexpected day in hospital today after some kind of shock/ allergic reaction.
While all the bloods and all the tests were being done they found my saniderm covered floral half sleeve that was added to on Tuesday. I was asked about it, but only in an admiring way especially my two lovely new honeybees lol! Luckily the docs didn't try to suggest it there was any problem with my tattoo (there isn't, its perfectly fine). In fact I was happy to see MANY of the medical staff I saw today had visible tattoos! Yay! X

I had surgery a couple weeks ago, and was really upset when I came out of anesthesia. I was really worried about throwing up and a bunch of other stuff and I was fully drugged up and as a result I, an adult man, was bawling my eyes out.
The nurses were so good to me, they tried to distract me by talking about my tattoos. I remember not really controlling what I was saying, but being able to tell my nurse the story behind every one of my tattoos. She then told me she had a “Live Love Laugh” tattoo and I told her “not to be embarrassed about it.”
I think back on it and feel so bad for saying that, but I definitely wasn’t fully with it, and I hope it didn’t hurt her feelings to bad lol
I've only recently found you on YT. I am 56 and a newly retired lawyer. Watching you helped me realize that I CAN GET ALL OF THE INK I EVER WANTED!!! So since this was a chatty video, I shall chat back. Mmy crazy self now has a tattoo scheduled starting later this month, then every month thereafter through July, with plans for even more. So far, I am a collector artists local to me, several of whom do great work. I also had to cover-up a number of small. old, and ill-advised tats from my youth. Keep posting please!

Your videos have been such a comfort to me these past few weeks since stumbling onto your channel. I’ve been watching your tattoo vlogs on loop and it’s helped with my increased anxiety with everything going on. I have a bunch of tattoos planned over the next few months and I’m so looking forward to them! Next one up is a coverup of an old tattoo and I can’t wait to get rid of those bad memories attached to the old tattoo.

I got two tattoos in a week. A lighthouse on my sternum, and a Sherlock skull on my arm. First time having two tattoos heal at the same time.
my first 3 sessions I always booked two palm sized to save on rates, really helps when you stencil out both n' get setup.
Healed four at once, never got an itchy phase thank the gods.

I'm finishing a big thigh piece in a few weeks!
I wanted to get it done in Jan 2021, then found out dad had cancer and had to delay because he needed a bone marrow transplant and I had a 50/50 chance of being chosen, and you do have to have been tattooed at least 6 months before to be able to give your bone marrow (if it's too fresh it's risky). Then my nan passed in July because of hospital negligence. I finally was able to heal a bit mentally and get an appointment, got the outline done in September, had a super bad case of eczema in October when we were supposed to do the shading... Postponed to January, got covid literally the day before, had to cancel and here we are! I am so so excited, and watching your video definitely makes me want to try getting flash ones next 👀

My Aunt passed away last summer and hearing how you talk about your auntie knowing that's how my cousins see my mom sent me bawling my eyes out. I love you Lauren, I want to remind you to be confident because you are such a kind and beautiful person. You deserve every good thing that happens to you.

My mom passed away in 2014 too. My dad passed in 2007. So I understand feeling like an orphan. 🤗❤
I just got an appointment with an artist I've followed for two years for a really weird piece that they're stoked about in April and I'm so excited

In june I'll be getting a memorial tattoo for my mom who died in november... ❤ I'm also 24 and missing my mom. 😔 She died of complications after an open heart surgery and a lifetime of health problems.

Was meant to travel for tattoo on monday but the bad weather and train disruptions made that impossible. The artist will be back around in June. Trying very hard not to be impulsive with spending or tattoos. Next session is in May
Also trying to figure out physical health issues, trying to move but dont have a lot of motivation. Anxious about the Ukraine situation

Had no idea you went through that with your mother, I lost my dad at that age from cancer as well, though he wasn't able to fight that long. Thanks for sharing your story, its always comforting finding others.
Sorry to hear about your mom :( My mom has had surgery twice for cancer (once on Christmas eve) and just celebrated her 60th last year, although I didn't go as I've moved across the country :/ On a happier note: I absolutely love the fact that you got to visit BadMonday's warehouse, and both the plaque and moth pillow case looks so bomb! I'm booked for two separate tattoo artists in 2-3 weeks and I'll most likely get 3 tattoos over the course of two days and I'm equally parts scared and excited haha

I really want to try butterlux. I have been healing with hustlebutter for a while now, and although my tattoos do heal nicely with it, I don't like the smell and the texture of it. Unfortunately haven't been able to find an alternative that ships to my country, and because of you I'm really interested in trying butterlux, maybe I'll give in and spend some extra money for the international shipping. I'm getting both sides of my calf done in two weeks and want the process to be as easy (read: itchless) as possible haha

I’ve been wanting a little L and R tattoo for a long time! I’m ambidextrous so the “which hand do you write with” trick doesn’t work, and I have a hard time telling when things are backwards at first glance so the hand trick takes me a little bit. 😂 Yours look so good, and they fit in with your style so well!

Its 30°C here today but when Lauren told me to put on a blankie I did. Air con = up, knees = snuggly. I had my elbow tattooed yesterday, I am eating cheese and binging treacletats. 😎 I did the l for left trick during my driving test.. still passed.

I just recently traveled from California to get multiple 9hr sessions in London and with COVID it was a nightmare but so worth it

I’ve been wanting to get an L and R tattooed on wrists for years! I don’t only forget my left and right but I always manage to get them wrong. I’m in the US and I’ve literally taken a left at a red light thinking I was taking a right on red. I only have one other tattoo that’s pretty hidden so everyone I’ve told about it says it’s a silly idea, but this made me feel so validated!!
I’m thinking about getting my first tattoo finally (at 36 years old! 😂) and I love your videos. I have learned so much. You are wonderful! Also Coke Zero Cherry is amazing!! I have been drinking that so much recently!
Similar to your L & R tattoos one of the technicians I work with got "oxygen" tattooed on her wrist to remember to turn the oxygen tank off at the end of the night because she kept forgetting and I love it so much 😅
