I'm jealous of people who prefer lots of blackwork tattoos because I think me wanting full color on majority of mine is one of the things that holds me back financially lol. I got into colorful tattoos years ago and can't get away now. I love them too much 😂💖

I got my first rib tattoo about a week ago and I wasn’t truly planning it. It was a spur of the moment, the tattoo is super cute and on the side of my body where I have a nature theme. So my tattoo plans are left arm: traditional Japanese, right arm: nature in black & grey, left leg: dark themes (horror), right leg: anime

A week ago I finally had my first tattoo brought back to life. It had been 10 years since I got it and it was looking a bit dull. Now it's better than it was before ❤

You should incorporate your right pinky into the black rose… maybe thorny vines (thinking Paradise hills) or falling flower petals… or maybe a bug (bee or ladybug)?
I came up with a nightcrawler tattoo I thought would be awesome but the only place I could think to get it was my thigh. I don't like my legs so I just decided I'd never get it. But one of your vids where you pointed out thigh tattoos always look good got me thinking. I started noticing women at shops of similar build to me and their thigh tattoos look awesome. So I've already picked out an artist who is great with comics and colour but I can't get it till next year. I'm currently breast feeding so I want to finish that then also wait till the start of autumn (Aussie so this time of year) so I can more easily pick the best clothing for the tattoo

Tomorrow morning I'm going to talk to a tattoo artist to get my first tattoo ever!! I always wanted a tattoo but didn't really know where to start. Thanks to your videos I learnt so much and I finally feel confident enough to get a tattoo, thank you so much 🥺❤️

-Shikamaru on my calf
-Luigi on my other lower leg, on the side or my entire lower/whole leg to be Nintendo themed (idk yet, so I'll wait)
-red spider lily on forearm
- an anchor near ankle
-Lilith symbol somewhere
-A memoir tattoo, black & white in honor of my grandma, under my left collarbone, might extend to the tip of my shoulder
-Pan Peter quote under boob, for a silly pun
-A fairy circle somewhere (I love mushrooms & the whole "children's book vibe")
- A molecule tattoo on my wrist
But I don't have the money yet, so I procastinate, after I start work & get my paycheck, I'll get my nose pierced actually
last week i got a little smiley on my wrist, that my mom always draws on birthday cards, notes etc. ♥ makes me smile every time i see it :) ♥
Thank you for always checking on us. Recently my mental health I've had to check multiple times daily. Current world events have been creeping into my dreams. I was thinking about working on my arms (colored flowers. I am imagining so much color)
But I spent $200 on bleaching and dying my head violet purple... soo that tattoo is going to have to wait. Also one cannot donate blood, plasma after a tattoo and that was/is something I want to do more of right now. Donate that spooky juice.
I just got my only black work tattoo yesterday. It was for my late brother’s birthday. He died 3 days before his 1st birthday 12 years ago. Yesterday, I was finally able to get a sunflower for my little sunshine.❤️
The pinky that points out when you curl your fingers into your palm - it might be a realignment of the joint that slowly formed from holding your phone and supporting the bottom of your phone with your pinky. Tons of people, including myself, do the same thing. Or maybe not and it's just your natural skeletal alignment. Either way, you have very nice hands with or without your fantastic hand tattoos
Edit - I should mention that supporting your phone with your pinky can also have the opposite effect: the hand muscles used to lift the pinky inward/up (when holding your phone) can be used so much that your pinky starts to point INWARDS when you curl your fingers into your palm. Okay, my kinesiology lecture is over ☺️❤️

I just booked my appointment today!! I’m getting a bearded lady pin up girl sitting on a box of TNT smoking a cigarette in American traditional style. I’m SOOO PUMPED for it! The idea for it just popped into my head and I immediately knew I needed it on my body so I’m finally getting it done!

I’m pregnant and due in May so this is the longest I’ve gone without getting tattooed and it’s painful 😭😭 So excited to get my stomach blasted after 💯
The part between the knuckle and the next joint over, so where the handle of your sword tattoo is, is called the proximal phalanx. (Or at least that's the medical term.) The next part, so where the blade is, is called the middle phalanx. And the tips of the fingers are the distal phalanx! So basically phalanx just means finger, and proximal/middle/distal refers to how close that part of the finger is to the body's centre.

Booked my first tattoo for a week on Tues. Its a large black and grey piece, I go from being extremely excited as I've wanted one for years to very nervous. I've thought about it a lot and got something that will be a beautiful stand alone piece of art but have a secret meaning to me
I’ve been wanting candy hearts that say “Bite Me” on them and to get the big space on my back by my shoulder blade filled. I have an idea of a floral piece with skulls and butterflies incorporated into it to tie in my more cutesy back tattoos and my rose and skull bicep/shoulder tattoo I have!
I've got plans for the rest of my half leg sleeves but can't decide if I want some of the tattoos to cross over my legs, like little matching traditional flowers on my ankles and script that travels across both legs, of whether I want them both to be completely unique, so I'm currently holding off until I'm sure.. and saving moneyy

A few weeks ago i got a potted plant on my arm as my third ever tattoo. I have so many ideas but not a lot of money so most of them are gonna have to wait a while lol.
One is all my pets' paw prints on my ribcage close to my heart, and i want a way to add in an element from when i had fish. I don't know yet how to add that in; i won't have an imprint of a fin on me 😅 If i'd have had only one type of fish, it could just be a generic picture of one, but because i had a lot of types very different from each other, i haven't yet figured out how to give my fish an appearance in the art piece as well.
The one big picture i have planned is what i'll be saving my back for. A memorial piece for all my loved ones i have and will lose. Every time someone goes, i want to get them added on to the back piece. I've thought maybe it could be a vine that i add a flower to for each person, or a tree that gets a new flower or a fruit. Regardless, i want a continuing memorial tattoo that will be finished when it's my time to go. I want to carry with me those i love.
I have so many more ideas but those two are the ones most meaningful that i have some ideas for already. I also want to get matching tattoos with my granny and mom, but we haven't yet decided on what to get, so it's not really much of a plan yet.

I recently got a crow on my forearm. I have to go back and get it finished as we had a snow storm come through, so we decided to stop so we could get home safely. (I am in Texas.) I want to get a sternum tattoo next. I think I am going to go with an art nouveau flower.
I am on six new so far this year, got three yesterday, oops 😂 I know what you mean about the laying down, I was more sore from laying on the bed than the tattoo pain 😂 not a finger but I got all my toes done with stitches like Frankenstein’s monster and they fit on my teeny tiny pinky toes
My next tattoo is going to be a hare, done in a Lino-cut style, inside a full moon .. can’t wait! I’m 60 and got my first tattoo 4 years ago, I’ve had four now, including a vine on my inner ear🙂
My next tattoo session I'll be getting a snake on my arm and a traditional/neotraditional portrait of Nadja from the What We Do In The Shadows on my calf. Plans for after that include a peony on my forearm (thinking of turning it into a fun neotrad/japanese style half sleeve at some point in the future), a rosy maple moth on the side of my knee so it looks like the wings are opening and closing when my leg moves and also a trans angel with top surgery scars on my shin (super inspired by those spooky biblically accurate angels with lots of sets of wings and stuff, but really pretty :))
I just got my hand and leg tattooed the other day, so I’ve spent a good part of my budget for tattoos already for this year😅😂 but I think the next thing I wanna focus on is actually getting some old tattoos removed and then covered. I’ve thought about it for a long time now, and the only reason I haven’t done it yet is because I’m a bit scared of the whole laser bit 😅🙈 I’m sure that’s gonna hurt like hell

I'm finishing my knee/shin/thigh in just under two weeks (hopefully!) and after that I need to figure out what to do with the backs of my knees! 😭

I’m getting a chest tattoo march 30th and I’m SO EXCITED.
I felt exactly the same way about the studio when I had my tattoo from Debbie! The artists literally didn't speak to eachother the whole time i was there (9 hours!) I love one of the other artists there as well as Debbie, but I really don't want to go back to the studio, it was super weird hahaha! Very bizarre.
I've seen people get sparkles on their fingers or even a letter and it looks freakin good 🤤

I have had the idea for a backpiece for quite some years now (5 to be exact)
It then expanded to having half sleeves. Then sleeves. Underboob tattoos are cool too. Wow chest tattoos are fire. Damn, those cohesive leg sleeves look bomb af
So now I am planning on getting a full body suits (without hands or neck) in a henna, whimsical, black work style that flows from top to bottom. Quite dark with negative spaces all throughout

I was going to travel for a concert, but it got postponed until next year, so now I'm traveling to get multiple tattoos instead :'D I'm booked to get 3 tattoos over 2 days... First a big chest piece, then one medium sized tattoo on my left underarm and one on my right elbow... Pray for me!!

I’ve followed you for some time, and I used your advice to get my first tattoo. I am however disappointed about how it turned out. Even though I met with the artist, and looked through his portfolio, the end result on my tattoo is really poor quality (lines are messy, font is uneven across). I think it just goes to show that even an artist with years of experience and good work can still have off days. I’m not as upset as I was right after I got it, but I do expect that I will need to have it touched up and hopefully not a coverup on my very first one. Thank you for all that you do! I would love to get more, but right now I need a break from my emotional rollercoaster that was my first tattoo.

Going on Tuesday to get a double bow with an arrow in it, that will be on my left arm. If you know who Sherrilyn McQueen is you know why. Over the summer I’m planning to get two more tattoos. The first is a long time coming, to me anyway, I have a scar on my right leg and the tattoo is going to be lily pads with flowers and a fish. It will be near the scar to distract from it. The second will be either behind my right ear or between the girls. Behind the ear would be the Aquarius symbol, because that’s what I am. The other one I’m thinking flowers or script of some sort. Both will get done eventually, just have to figure out which will be first.

When you were talking about your hand tattoos age, that reminded me of the other day when I realised my first tattoo is 8 years old and my 2nd 7 years old even though my 2nd was done a couple months from my first (first was late 2014 2nd. Early 2015)
I might need to start getting tattooed in England lol . I paid $550 USD for my last tat which is the size of my hand. I always tip and never complain about price but it’s honestly getting harder to afford tattoos. I just look on Instagram and these vids to get my tattoo high when I’m broke 😂.

I know this video is 4 months old, but I'm gonna reply anyhow. I'm getting my first tattoo in 5 days and I'm very excited. I'm just getting a short session one to make sure I don't react badly to anything. I want to get a bigger piece on my arm in about a year. The one I'm getting now was on the artist's flash page (but they only do them once) and is a really unique font style (I've scoured the internet of text tattoos and seen nothing like it) of "Whatever" that I'm putting on the side of my forearm, so I can just lift my arm up and "whatever" people. It's very me. I'm also 55 and just getting my first tattoo. I'm sure my mother is having conniption fits in the afterlife (but her urn has been silent).
I have three stars on my little finger, like the ones in the top corners of the Harry Potter books 🙂 fits very well

Okay so I’m a new fan of yours but for my 18th birthday I’m planning to get an eevee tattoo. (From Pokémon ). I’ve loved the series for years and eevee is my favourite, i want it in a bold and colourful style with sparkles and just really pretty and cute. My birthday is in September so I still have six months to plan and research and design. ( im drawing the design myself but am very open to opinions and recommendations ). I got my third tattoo last year still love it, it's a black and gray lace fan with flowers on my thigh. Loved getting tattood there more than my leg and inner arm. Hearing you talk about getting more tattoos is giving me the itch XD.
I finally got a tattoo from my artist's apprentice. It's a deadly wizard bumblebee. I got it because "deadly wizard bumblebee" was the first nick name my boyfriend gave me. The tattoo is absolutely adorable and I love it so much. I'll definitely be booking another tattoo with her soon.
I also have an appointment on Easter to start my sleeve. It'll have a lot of flowers and butterflies and wood bees. I'm very excited.
About your back and how it is in a curve and so on … in Germany we call it Hohlkreuz (kreuz/rücken= back and hohl=hollow) 😅

This Tuesday just gone I got my left hand and fingers tattooed. The hand is black and grey flowers with leaves which ties into the black and grey Jack and Zero with flowers and bats on my forearm. Next Tuesday I have the other hand booked in which will be a colourful rose and then next month i have one booked in for other side of my arm which will be a black and grey Sally with flowers to go with the rest of that arm :) super excited.
Hand was painful! Haha

For your pinky fingers.. you know like you said they point outwards? Why don’t you get little arrows in the opposite direction that your fingers point towards. I think that would look cool and also have a fun lil story with it haha. Only just found your channel like last week and literally been binging your videos! I completely get what you mean about the vibe of the studio. Been to quite a few studios as I like to collect work from different artists and usually love the environment. However my most recent experience, although the artist was lovely, it was very strange. It seemed like there was some tension or discomfort between artists and there was no artwork or anything on the walls which I found a bit odd. I've heard from a few tattoo artists at other studios that I've been to that that particular studio has some issues with ownership. e.g. owner of the shop taking a very large percentage of what the artist earns from a tattoo, hiring international tattoo artists who are here on a VISA in order to take advantage of them & not allowing them to draw in between appointments at the studio because it "looks bad". Also in order to book you have to go through the tattoo shop and not the individual artist and my tattooist told me that they sometimes offer clients that have requested a particular artist to other artists in the studio without consulting them first.
In may I am getting a very bright colored space tattoo. Planets comets etc right blues and purples ..

I'm compiling tattoo ideas for my birthday next month. I want to do something related to Angela Bettis from her role in the movie May. It's one of those films that had a major impact on my youth, and I still hold in high regard.

Yeah i feel you on the scabby part.. mine is at that stage and its gross, plus its half my leg so i cant shave then until its fully healed and stopped peeling lol also on the studio vibe ive been to ones where everyone gets along and has banter... so it would be odd if there was none of that when getting tattooed

I'm getting a black and grey floral piece done on my upper right arm in June.. other than a tiny thing on my left wrist I've not got anything on my arms yet and it's a full day session which is also new to me as I've only done 2-3 hours at most per session before.. I also want to get a lyric tattoo on my left inner forearm too but haven't booked that yet even though that was an idea before the floral one came to mind haha
