I’m really happy that someone mentioned the “changing your old self” aspect of getting tattoos. I have pretty bad BDD to the point that I get a full-on panic attack whenever having my picture taken or seeing any sort of image of myself. Getting tattoos definitely improves things for me cause for the most part it makes me no longer feels like “me” and that’s amazing
It's so hard lol. I started my right sleeve back in like 2020 but then so many things happened that were mainly covid and money related getting in my way. I'm waiting on my tax return to continue it soon but I probably can't get that much unless I can save more than I thought. 💸

Thank you for speaking out about tattoo copying. As an artist myself (not a tattoo artist) many of my work has been stolen on Pinterest and other social media platforms and copied or heavily referenced. It’s so frustrating sometimes because as an artist you put so much work into a unique piece for your customers.
It's so interesting watching your videos now that I've actually gotten tattooed myself (literally yesterday haha), but I cannot for the life of me understand how people can just copy stuff like that. I gave my artist some references and she was easily able to use the same style but make it unique to me and I absolutely adore it to bits. And even then it's a really simplistic design so even then I get paranoid that it'll look like a copy, no idea how some can feel fine having something completely the same.
There’s a RUclips video from Soft White Underbelly featuring Orylan where she goes into detail about her body modifications. Highly recommend anyone interested in her tattoos and body mods to check out her interview there ! She’s the sweetest and she’s the definition of don’t judge a book by it’s cover - which is actually her philosophy behind her butterfly tattoos too.
Literally just stumbled across Soft White Underbelly a week ago and haven't stopped watching the channel. Its SO compelling! Her video was very interesting
With peace and love, I love self expression and people getting whatever they want on their body. BUT, as someone in the medical field, tattooed eyes just make me cringe. The color of the whites of the eye are a great way to tell if somethings wrong with you/ what's wrong with you and the eyes are so delicate if you f them up by injecting improperly and/or the the ink going over the pupils, you have permanently messed up your eyes and possibly blinded yourself.
Such a cool new series, i like :) i really enjoy all those tattoo tours and getting inspired for my own tats. You did inspire me to get my blackwork sleeve btw. - I fell in love with that style because of you I watched Barbaras Armpit Video so many times bevore my own armpit session last week and i was so nervous about the pain and the healing. It took something between 7 and 8 hours and the pain was surprisingly okayish. Yes, more painful than most of my tattoos, but doable. But the biggest surprise was the healing. I had literally no problems at all. My movements were slower and i could not stretch it out completely, but i had only mild swelling, no pain (if not touched/moved) and the redness went away quickly. It's exactly one week later and it feels healed (on the surface, the ink is still setteling a little bit though). I think i was lucky because i don't have that much solid black and the black & grey shading healed better. So if you want them, go for it :)
I have always liked your videos, and I honestly watched them a few times before getting my first tattoo. Thank you for always featuring real people and being your real self; it made the whole process of being a tattoo virgin so much less scary.
Up until today, I had a copied tattoo.. I sent the image and several others to the artist as a reference. Sorry to break it to you Lauren but Hardcore is its own genre and substyle of punk, so she probably means that sorta stuff, it has nothing to do with electro 😅 but love the video!
It could very likely have to do with electro, hardcore is also something like a subgenre of techno music if you can call it that, pretty closely related to gabber. Pretty common in the netherlands and belgium as far as i know. especially with the fond that was used for the tattoo i assume that thats what she was talking about, it can be seen often in the scene.
Last person in relation to the back tat she said she got the inspiration from pinterest, google and got something similar to it so that doesn't mean she copied it
The last girl didn't copy her tattoo though (probably), she literally said that she saw a tattoo "SIMILAR TO IT" on google so it sounds like she used it as a reference.
Hey loved the video! Always love hearing your thoughts on things. I was wondering if you could have a look at Oli Sykes’s tattoos and react? He’s got some good ones and some interesting ones. 🙂
If youre still having issues with the fans running like a jet engine it could be because they are clogged with dust inside. Ive had to open my mum's several times and blow out the dust. Just found you on here. Love your channel! I started my tattoo journey in my early 30’s (wasn’t allowed before...long story) 12 years in and in 30% covered but how do you deal with the judgment? It’s less than it used to be granted but it’s still so judgy 🖤
I honestly hate when people say tattoo gun as well, but here’s my random theory behind as to why (this is definitely me putting way too much thought into something menial😂) Like you said, a gun shoots things like bullets, water, etc. A tattoo “gun shoots” ink, a sewing “gun shoots” thread…? I don’t know, this is such a dumb theory, but it’s the first thought that came to mind to try and “justify” people calling a tattoo machine a “gun”😅
I find the idea that you "Can't call it a tattoo gun" so meh, they've been called that for years by a ton of people, even a lot of tattoo artists. It IS a gun, it shoots ink! :) I think there's too many people that get wayyyy too precious about it because they automatically associate the word "gun" with negative vibes, but it is what you make of it, I'll still call it a tattoo gun every now and then and I've got a full sleeve, the start of a leg "sleeve" (trouser-leg?) and a few others, so I'm no tattoo noob. As for eyeball tattooing... ergh. Just no. It's not real tattooing, it's just injecting ink in your eye, and it's massively dangerous.
Yeah, there's lots of things we call guns, caulking gun, glue gun, piercing gun, stun gun ect. Just because the word 'gun' is there doesn't mean it shoots bullets.
Omg, giiiirl, Im blushing so hard rn. Thank you so much for the lovely compliments babes

I can well get behind that Tolkien tattoos.
It would be interesting to see you interview tattoo artists or other tattoo enthusiasts. Or just to have you vlog one of your own sessions.
So sad I have had to postpone finishing my back tattoo for a bit as I have a a neck and back injury that also causes arm spasms!
Oh gosh I’m so sorry to hear that 😭💖 hope you feel better soon! Look after you 💖
Thank you! I'm slowly getting better but thought it best to.not get tattooed while my arm way flail about at any unpredictable moment
I wanted to get fine line flowers like roses and peonies and Mandalas because I had a beautiful Indian wedding 10 years ago and I miss my henna
Hey loved the video! Always love hearing your thoughts on things. I was wondering if you could have a look at Oli Sykes’s tattoos and react? He’s got some good ones and some interesting ones. 🙂
Guess I'm calling my washing machine now a washing gun 😋 sounds much better
Omg you need to react to Young Dumb Honey Buns tattoos they are all beautiful
If youre still having issues with the fans running like a jet engine it could be because they are clogged with dust inside. Ive had to open my mum's several times and blow out the dust. Replaced the fans on it last year because they failed. This is an older macbook pro but it could be a problem with yours too maybe? As the problem sounds similar
Just found you on here. Love your channel! I started my tattoo journey in my early 30’s (wasn’t allowed before...long story) 12 years in and in 30% covered but how do you deal with the judgment? It’s less than it used to be granted but it’s still so judgy 🖤
I honestly hate when people say tattoo gun as well, but here’s my random theory behind as to why (this is definitely me putting way too much thought into something menial😂)
Like you said, a gun shoots things like bullets, water, etc.
A tattoo “gun shoots” ink, a sewing “gun shoots” thread…? I don’t know, this is such a dumb theory, but it’s the first thought that came to mind to try and “justify” people calling a tattoo machine a “gun”😅
17:47 thinking of some music you might enjoy; I suggest looking up Alice Longyu Gao, Jazmin Bean, and Mr. Bungle.
I don’t remember the name of 2 or 3 artists but I remember the studio I was at
Hopefully one day I can make my own "tattoo tour" when I'm not stuck with shitty tattoos :')
I’m more of a bold lines and bright color person 💯 🙌🏻
I find the idea that you "Can't call it a tattoo gun" so meh, they've been called that for years by a ton of people, even a lot of tattoo artists. It IS a gun, it shoots ink! :)
I think there's too many people that get wayyyy too precious about it because they automatically associate the word "gun" with negative vibes, but it is what you make of it, I'll still call it a tattoo gun every now and then and I've got a full sleeve, the start of a leg "sleeve" (trouser-leg?) and a few others, so I'm no tattoo noob.
As for eyeball tattooing... ergh. Just no. It's not real tattooing, it's just injecting ink in your eye, and it's massively dangerous.
@@meow4264 Thanks for proving my point with your pedantic response.
Yeah, there's lots of things we call guns, caulking gun, glue gun, piercing gun, stun gun ect. Just because the word 'gun' is there doesn't mean it shoots bullets.
