If you're not deleting forms starting with the largest number first, then you're going to delete the wrong ones. Because once you delete one, all the other numbers above it shift. That may be why some are "falling through the cracks". To avoid this, you might want to start deleting them as you go instead of waiting until you're done filming. Anyways, love this series!
So happy for Ginny that at 58 years old she got her first tattoo. I was 50 when I got my first tattoo and was extremely excited about the whole process. I also took a few years to think about what I wanted and to find an artist. I became enthralled with tattoos in my forties as they became more prevalent in our society. Many of my relatives, most younger than myself, were getting tattoos and I was so excited for them. I also watched a lot of television shows and loved the stories behind the tattoos. I have four now but am desperately wanting to get another one. I just don’t know what I want yet or where to place it.🥰

I wrote my bachelor's thesis on three Tim Burton movies, and graduated in january. I'm getting a tattoo of the three movies this summer ( I had to wait for the bookings of the artist I wanted to do it to open) and I can't wait to add it to the form! I'm glad you're keeping it open!

Ahhh!!! You reacted to my tattoos!!!! I can't believe it!! The first one "not all tears" is a lord of the rings quote. You're spot on about the "fly;" tattoo, the mountain tattoo is with my older sister and is a symbol of our relationship. As for the blackout sleeve, you were actually part of the inspiration for the design!!!!

Bio-archaeology is the study of the remains of ancient living things (usually human remains). Regular archaeologists focus on remnants of objects to learn about ancient cultures and people while bio-archaeologists study the people themselves and how the dead were treated. My sister has a doctorate in the field and her main focus of study was child mortuary practices, or how people handled children who died. (Note: this may not be accurate since I'm not the expert and have most likely misunderstood/misremembered some of the things she's told me.)
These are honestly the most wholesome videos on youtube, I could just watch these forever and forget all the bad stuff and relax.
My parents got their first tattoo in 2019 (a matching tattoo!). At the time, my dad was 60 and my mum was 53. I was really excited for them (and also kinda proud of myself, because they got the idea of getting a tattoo after I started getting mine.) I was really surprised because my dad always said he didn't liked tattoos, but apparently he changed his mind and even said "you only live once, so why not try getting a tattoo just to see how it is". You go dad! 😂🖤
Meanwhile my mum got her second tattoo. 🥺🥰
I think it's better to cap it to allow you to catch up, then open it up once you're caught up! It's not leaving anyone out, just making it easier to manage more fairly.

Yes! tattoos at any age! My mother is 62 and just got her first tattoo, a matching one with me. Tattoos and tattoo culture in general mean so much to me, it feels awesome getting to share it with her.
I wonder if making the Google forms as a volume. Like close this current one and get through them, with a second one open for submissions (a volume 2), and so on?
I think you should do some episodes where you break it down more, like 1-100, 101-200 or 1-200, 201-400 up to 1,000. It feels like all of these are in the 2,000s, and the fast responders should get spotlight like how you did the first one by default.

Not judging at all, but with people wanting you to close it while you are wanting to keep it open, i think it's because the number generator doesn't do many of the beginning submissions, so it seems unfair that those that came later are shown more/sooner.
An ideal to combat that would be take the highest number from your other older videos, in any of your current newer ones for a total of whatever like 2-6 submits then move on to the next section, so you can generator a random number that's from each stage of early, middle, later.
Example 0-1358 X# of Submits, 1359 - 2647 X# of Submits, 2648 - 3725 X# of Submits.
Probably more work and when deleting what was done more complicated but i personally think a little bit fairer if you want to not put a cap on submissions or close it anytime soon.
Just my opinion i really adore this series just want to see more number diversity then the generator seems to be giving you/us going forward.

I don’t think the earlier numbers wouldn’t be any less likely to be chosen. There’s just so many numbers and there’s only a small chance for any one number to be chosen. She’s doing it in a completely random/unbiased and fair way
there's only 99 numbers with 2 digits there are 2600 number with 4 digits. the high numbers will look like they are being pulled up now because they are, due to being lots more of them
@@charliev4156 never said her way wasn't fair but the submissions also increases by like 1000 every video and she doesn't want to close it meaning its only getting higher.
so while it can be a great ongoing series she might also be getting resubmits as people who would likely try and tip the scale by adding more of their picture or reposting their tattoos again.
idk how her system is set up, but there has already been someone from this video saying here's MORE of her pics meaning she's resubmitted herself, not wrong but inflates the numbers.
meaning out of 3600 a third could be just a large number of people trying to increase their odds on getting shown soon.
it just human nature and nothing bad just not really fair to others that wouldn't think of doing that or can't.
this is all was just my opinion i ain't judging no offense intended to her, you or anyone else.

You're never too old to get tattooed. I got my first tattoo on my 18th birthday then my sister, dad, cousin, and stepmom got their first tattoo shortly after. My sister and cousin were in their mid 20s and my dad and stepmom were in their 50s. I am by far the most covered in my family, but it was so nice that they all got the confidence to get tattooed after I did.

Exactly. My grandma wanted to get a tattoo and she's 70. I told her it's never too late to get one and I'd go with her and get one too so she's not nervous lol. And I feel you on the confidence thing. I remember in middle school I was at my worst with body dysmorphia and self esteem issues. Never took off my jacket until I was at home. Hated my body and my arms bc I used to self harm a lot. After I got a few tattoos and piercings, I felt so happy and confident. Still trying to achieve the confidence thing as my body dysmorphia still lingers.
Everyone else talking about tattoos, and me here just impressed she knew how to pronounce Niamh 😂😂 It took me living in Scotland for 2 years before I figured that out.
Also I absolutely love tattoos, but can’t get any due to having psoriasis. So I am living through the joy of others having tattoos on these videos xD
I think imposing a (temporary) cap would be beneficial - gets the overall number down and a better chance for everyone who's already submitted to be seen, then open it up again.
Jacob is so adorable! And his tattoos fit him very well. I'm not a huge fan of color tattoos, but his make me reconsider. Just wow!
The tattoos in this "episode" are all really really cool. I'm 50, and working on a complete body suit. You're never too old to start your tattoo journey...be it just one tattoo or an entire suit. If someone says otherwise, ignore them! If it's not hurting anyone else, do what you want. Cheers/Skål!!!

Im getting my first really large tattoo on May 13th (which is a Friday and I’m so excited cause I love Friday the thirteenth!) and it’s going to be a kitty cat in a preservation jar and I’m absolutely stoked. I’ve already submitted one form but I’m super excited to submit this one once it’s done. Hopefully I’ll be able to do it in one session!

I’m wondering if the “not all tears” tattoo is from the quote “I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.” That was my first thought after seeing it at least, could be wrong lol

Regarding deleting the forms, am I right in thinking though that whenever you delete a form, the remaining numbers change? So if you delete number 5, then the previous number 6 will then be labelled number 5? If that makes any sense at all. Maybe I’ve misunderstood, I just didn’t want anyone’s forms to accidentally be deleted!
Unless you do them highest to lowest then it should be fine? She says? Confidently??
@@erinsmith4416 she’s doing it in a random order though, so that means unless it’s the very last number, it’ll have a knock on effect on the rest of them - I think, lol

I'm really glad you are indeed keeping the form open, because in about a month from now, I will FINALLY be getting my thigh piece, it got pushed back because I had covid a few weeks ago and I told my artist my tattoo day was the day I got out of quarantaine and she thought it was too risky... :/ so I would love to submit that still! :)

I‘m honestly against closing since the numbers are already so high that it’s almost impossible to go through all of them. Let’s say that Lauren reacts to 10 submissions in each video, there are already 3600 submissions so far. The chances that she will react to a very particular tattoo soon is already so low. I think keeping the submissions open, make things more interesting. Not only for those who have submitted something but also for newer viewers that might have discovered Lauren’s channel recently.
Why do cats have feet that cute? Because Cat. I really love the magnolia blossom the one man has because my grandfather loved them and so I named one of my cats Magnolia Blossum because of that. Also it went with the fact the other cat we had at the time was called Lily (short for Liliana Houseafluff) The owl would also make me think of my grandfather because he wrote a whole letter to me once about owls in Missouri which I took to school for reasons I can't remember now.
I'd love to know who the artist is that did the memento mori tattoo, it's so good!!!
