I just got my first tattoo last week, I always wanted to be heavily tattooed eventually but this cemented it, it has been a great experience so far and I love it
I love the VLOG-Tattoo-Videos :) makes the waiting for my own next tattoo a little better For the rectangular spot: 2 pizza slices facing in the opposite direction, one being "spooky" with a spider & web, the other one being sparkly & sweet. All in all more line-worky / simple because of the small space. Or, if thats too much for this area, just one bigger spooky pizza slice with a spider dangling from the tip instead of the cheese. There you have it, the most impotant things in one piece :3
I feel that hair thing dude! I have super dark black hair and I went blonde and literally the next day after bleaching my roots grew a tiny bit and it was so weird seeing like black spots near my follicles (my natural hair growth). I ended up getting a root smudge at some point that was my hair color (or as close as it was gonna get) to let it grow out nicely. But yeah roots when your hair is the complete opposite of what you dyed is baaaaad lol
12:31 I'm so confused why the hairdresser would put that new darker color *all over* when it was only supposed to go on the very top? Your hair was already quite dark, so of course it's going to build up with the new dark color... :( I hope you get your dream hair eventually! Also, of course, the new tattoo looks magnificent :) I've always gotten large pieces (or small pieces at the same time as medium sized ones) so I can't imagine how quick and easy a simple tattoo like that is!
Eeeeeehhhhh after the second lightening I would’ve either went in to bleach the ends that day or had you come back in a day or two depending on your hair condition. She shouldn’t have put ANY color on your hair with how dark it already was. It needed either a couple bleach baths or straight up bleach again depending on the strength of your hair. Then honestly if your hair was light enough after that she should’ve gone in with the darker root color and toned the lighter bits, maybe add some dark bits here and there to create that dimension you see in the photo and yeah. Then slowly work your hair to whatever it is you wanted. My recommendation for your hair post bleach bath that you did: give your hair some time to heal and do a few conditioning treatments. If you want it lighter then you could probably straight bleach some balayage into it or if your hair is not strong enough for that after the hair treatments I’d suggest another bleach bath. For sure trim your ends after all that because of split ends. Hope any of that helps! Love your channel, love you, love your tattoos and your videos and I hope you have a wonderful day! 🥰

A random idea for that blank spot on your arm (obviously its your tattoo, whatever you put there will be awesome and beautiful), but if you like butterflies, it might work there. Because it could be a simpler design, while filling in the more rectangular spot there. 🙂 Love the darling tatoo though. It's gorgeous. 💗

I have the exact same issue with my hair. I have dyed dark brown hair and have naturally medium to light blonde naturally. The roots need doing every 3 weeks. I wanted to go lighter but there’s sooo many layers of colour now it’ll probably not even strip. :(

Honestly, i think your hair dresser messed up. The reason why it came out dark was because they put dark on it? I have gone from black to much lighter than yours went in one session. Hair dressers make mistakes. Hopefully your next one will do a better job
omg I loved the vw tattoo your friend got,idk about the hair dresser but you have die on your scalp and forhead and that shouldn't happen with a professional .The color isn't bad though
i kinda wish you would stop telling people to get apprenticeships as if it was that easy. even a lot of the greatest artists to date have started in their bedroom and why is that? first of all most tattoo artists don't even offer apprenticeships for many many reasons and ofc you can try and go to every shop in your town and show them your portfolio but chances are you will go home crying because 20 people just rejected you (and you feel bad about yourself wondering if your skill level and art is good enough even if you're actually good), but let's say you get accepted by a shop or an artist, that doesn't mean your wonderful tattoo career will start from here. many many many shops and tattoo artists treat their apprentices like shit. you will be cleaning the studio for 3 years before you're even allowed to hold a tattoo machine and most of the times, not only do you not earn money, no, you have to pay the shop for the apprenticeship, so you maybe even have to work a normal job beside that just so you clean the toilets in the shop. also let's not forget about the amount misogyny in the industry, a lot of female presenting people often get creeped on or even worse by their (what should be) mentors. if getting a tattoo apprenticeship was really that easy, a lot of these bedroom self learned artists would def go out and get one, that's for sure. and i know you only mean saying stuff like that in the best way possible and i'm not denying that tattooing in your bedroom is unsafe, but at least give the people some credit that actually try to be as clean and smart as possible about it. like yes, those 14 year olds with no gloves tattooing their friends on the dirty carpet should be lectured and told that that's dangerous, but those who really try and sanitize everything and practice on fake skin beforehand etc. please just let them do their thing. i think you should ask in your tattoo artist circles and also get some storytimes and informations on youtube, tiktok and podcasts on how HARD it is to get a good apprenticeship in this field, because as i said. those passionate about it would definitely love to go that route, but it's simply impossible for most of us, even if you're an exceptional good artist.
I wouldn't go to that hairdresser again, tbh. Your hair doesn't look bad, but it's super far off of what you asked for, which would have been easily achievable. I've gone from black (which I had for YEARS) to light purple in one day with very little damage, and I'm not even a professional. When I do go to professionals, they would never dream of charging a client for something that dramatically different from the intended color.
I heard "garlic bread" 🧄🥖🤤 lol I dyed my hair black for yeeears but the light brown roots was the worst part for sure. My hair is already super thin and fine so I'd look balding until I touched up the color. Now I do bleach and weird colors so my roots come in dark looking. That plus the bleach drying my hair up makes the hair seem less thin 😂
