I like how you got your ole lady in there with you. Good quality time together and both of you have pride in building an awsome table. Fantastic job bro. To both of you 🍻 👏 ✌️
We kept finding we needed a folding table. This is so easy to store. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxStL0QRChBju4aQlnTrRgBZvafFog0KU3 Opening and closing is easy as well. It has a great handle for carrying around the house. Its pretty lightweight and slides around easy. We bought it for our daughter’s first sleepover. Breakfast was a blur - but 12 7-8 year olds fit at the table with room to spare. We used it at thanksgiving and 6 adults fit comfortably on each side plus 2 on either end for a total of 8. Super easy to clean up afterwards as well.
Awesome book that gives you step-by-step photos ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt and directions to make every day project. I can see myself making a few of these projects and giving them as housewarming and holiday gifts!
Trying to build this now. In the plan you say to see the video for details on the climate adjusters, but the way you do the climate adjusters in the video are very different than in the plan. There's no T-nut in the plan, nor does the steel overlap at any portion in the plan. Would it be possible to get some clarity on which way this should be done?
Great video. One item to add. A layer of carpet needs to be put on each end of the gutter. Otherwise in a matter of a few months, the end boards will be torn up from the pucks hitting the face of the boards.
Would be great if any of theses guys told us how many PICES of each wood they bought before cutting it,lol have to guess and hope ya don't have to make several runs, yes they deliver and you pay for delivery, lol
I live in Japan and 5m length boards are common at wood places. Think : bar tops. I had zero problem building my shuffleboard table. Going with a split main board is silly however well it came out. It's far harder to level and make smooth. But your table looks spot on
Pretty good but really in-depth for the playing area slab, would have liked a little more on the tubeing you attached and exactly how it was used to level the playing board, lol. I’m a little lost there.lol
Nice work, your instructions are nicely detailed. I am wondering if you could provide a little more detail on the leveling system though. I am not 100% I understand how it works particularly the function of the angle and hanger bolts. If you could provide a picture of the underside of that area that would be super helpful. Thanks!
Did anyone figure out this step in more detail? How does the butcher block get “pulled down”. What is the leverage point? Seems like the angled steel is driven up against the butcher block when the bolt is tightened.
Can you explain what you meant with the gutter? Would you forgo the gutter board entirely and just put the rubber and leather directly to the plywood base?
Thanks! That is actually part of an entire kitchen I bought from restore and plan to install in my basement. I be starting that project soon and there will be a video on that.
Great build but I have a feeling the back boards may be a little short. U might end up catching a puck in the nether region if not careful. Lol. Thanks for the content. Well done
Thank you! They are about 3/4" above the playing surface so someone would really have to zing that puck down the board to get over the rail. Hopefully that never happens.
I don’t know if total boat epoxy has changed since you did this video, but they strictly suggest you don’t use a power drill mixer. I of course, didn’t read those directions and ended up with 2 gallons of cloudy air, bubble epoxy, which was unusable and I had to dispose of. 😢
Table came out good. A jointer and planer would do wonders for tightening up those gaps. some mortise and tenon joint would be stronger than pocket holes.
Great video, where exatly to paint the lines for the score areas at a 9'/8' board and the foul-/center line? Can I also coat the surface with oil/wax instead of epoxid?
Very nice! Well explained ! Hope hou answer questions, here’s one; what is the ideal thickness of the epoxy coat? I see yours seems very thick! Thank you
Did you say to give it a concave playing surface you need ? I want to build one of these here in the UK. Can I ask why it’s a concave playing surface as opposed to a flat one ? I’m also guessing if it is! It must be a slight concave? Anyone have an answer would be highly appreciated:) thanks, great video :)
Over all I think I can do this! Lol,just wanted to know, you said playing board had some pay in it so you screwed it down Fodor underneath and added leg levellers, right? I assumed by screwing it you just made it solid against the plywood base then use the leg levelers
I'd like to start this project, but there are so many ads for downloads, references to "manual", whitepapers etc. I don't want to get a bunch of stuff on my PC. What do I need to do to get the plans et needed to build this great game bord?
The nicest shuffleboard I've ever played on seemed to have the slightest bias toward the center such that you could curve a shot but pushing just toward the edge and it would come back. Does yours behave this way? Would it be possible with your setup? Also, a forstner bit may save you a bunch of fill and putty work next time around. ;)
Absolutely loved your video! I will be doing this for my house. Thank you for sharing. PS. Loved the little scene with your son. Nice touch. So, anything you would do different now? I also laughed when I saw the quality of your lumber. No way will I find that at my Home Depot! Also, that butcher block is now $350!
I dont understand it either....The angle iron is under the square tubing but how does it adjust ? I read the plan over and over , that part is confusing to me.
IWAS OK TILL YOU GOT TO THE HANGER BOLT SYSTEM,TOTALLY LOST ME THERE. IM FAMILURE WITH HOW THE CLIMATIC ADJUSTERS WORK ON SHUFFLE BOARDS BUT YOU REALLY DISNT GET INT YOUR BOLT SYATEM????? I assume it anchored the slab to the plywood???????
A professional shuffleboard table does not have a metal frame under the slab. What they do have is 6 or more table climatizers. there is no wood underthe table except for the frame you built, it just sits on that. Other than that, great job!

Looks amazing
How much do you charge for one like that to be maid and shipped out ?

Super job. My dad built one , me and him use it a lot , with side bumpers . Love the game, Wish my Dad was still here
sorry for your lose

Your attention to detail is on point! I think I learned more tips in this one video than over hours of other channels! Thanks for the info!
Glad it was helpful!

Did you actually get that lumber at Home Depot? Everytime I go for lumber, it's perfect for the bottom of a rocking horse.
haha. Thats what I was thinking. That came from a lumber yard, the tools came from HD.
Hahahahahahaha so true I was there just the other day.
You definitely could build some nice rocking horses with their stock hahahaha.
Just got to look for the right stuff even when I’m building a fence I will go through every board on the skid if I have too.
No way ,actually yes they hand picked it all, lol, you can do same takes a long time and many pallets of 2x4
Would be great if any of theses guys told us how many PICES of each wood they bought before cutting it,lol have to guess and hope ya don't have to make several runs, yes they deliver and you pay for delivery, lol

Just turned out amazing. Always good content here brother. You do good work
Thank you so much!
This turned out great! Such a fun build! 😍😍
Thank you! we love how the top turned out
The base looks great.
The gutters look fantastic.
The top turned out beautifully.
Nicely done!
great job...very lovely assistant.
Thanks! She's the best!
Excellent job!!! You OBVIOUSLY love what you do!!!
I’ll be over this weekend! What kind of beer do you like? 🤣Awesome build!
Haha all of it!
Love this video, and your shuffle board looks amazing!! Definitely going into my cue of future builds. Thank you!
Thanks!!

That looks amazing. Great video
that was a big project. you did a great job.
It was indeed. Getting it inside was a challenge too! Thanks
Freakin AMAZING Job, wish I had this kind of skill, I love playing the game. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you!
Awesome work! It's been a while since I saw a shuffleboard! 😂
Awesome Job Guys!! Thanks
Dude just found this Chanel and this video wow stunning table not thing here in Scotland but look like fun. 👍🏴

Great job!! Love the build. Should be lots of fun to play!
Can you explain what you meant with the gutter? Would you forgo the gutter board entirely and just put the rubber and leather directly to the plywood base?
Really nice reminds me of my highschool time. Great work👍🏻
Thanks Eric!
Great job.
Great video! I learned so much
Fantastic job it is beautiful
Another Great Video. Is there a build video coming out for that sweet wet bar in the workshop? That look as cool as all of your all's other projects!
Thanks! That is actually part of an entire kitchen I bought from restore and plan to install in my basement. I be starting that project soon and there will be a video on that.
Thank youuuuu AWESOME VIDEO
Looks good. But at the point i would spent more just for a longer board.
How much Epoxy di d you use for the top? Did you have to sand it much after you removed the tape to level the edge?
Great build but I have a feeling the back boards may be a little short. U might end up catching a puck in the nether region if not careful. Lol. Thanks for the content. Well done
Thank you! They are about 3/4" above the playing surface so someone would really have to zing that puck down the board to get over the rail. Hopefully that never happens.
Beautiful job I love a good game on the shuffleboard.
Thank you!

Very Nice! New subscriber here! 🤙🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the sub!
That is amazing
Great video, where exatly to paint the lines for the score areas at a 9'/8' board and the foul-/center line? Can I also coat the surface with oil/wax instead of epoxid?
Pedazo casa. En ese salón entra 6 veces mi piso. Es lo bueno de los EEUU, por el precio de un piso en España allí tienes una mansión
Great job , What was the total cost to make this
This is awesome! About how much would you say it cost to build?
Very nice! Well explained !
Hope hou answer questions, here’s one;
what is the ideal thickness of the epoxy coat? I see yours seems very thick!
Thank you
In the plans, he recommends only 2 gallons. My guess is that the video uses more.
It would have been super cool if you put led light strips under the board on top. So the lights are coming from under the board where the sand is
Did you say to give it a concave playing surface you need ?
I want to build one of these here in the UK. Can I ask why it’s a concave playing surface as opposed to a flat one ?
I’m also guessing if it is! It must be a slight concave?
Anyone have an answer would be highly appreciated:) thanks, great video :)
Yeaaaaa I’ll just spend the thousands of $$$$ and buy one.
When are we getting the full, finished walk-thru of the house?
Hopefully soon, just a few things we wanted to wrap up first.
Over all I think I can do this! Lol,just wanted to know, you said playing board had some pay in it so you screwed it down Fodor underneath and added leg levellers, right? I assumed by screwing it you just made it solid against the plywood base then use the leg levelers
Also would really be helpful if you said how many 2x4 we willl need and their lengths, hard to figuer from your cut up stuff, save us a few trips, lol
I'd like to start this project, but there are so many ads for downloads, references to "manual", whitepapers etc. I don't want to get a bunch of stuff on my PC. What do I need to do to get the plans et needed to build this great game bord?
Does Home Depot have an Ap that helps you locate someone who works there?
Looked good, how much apoxy did you use and how thick was it laid!
The nicest shuffleboard I've ever played on seemed to have the slightest bias toward the center such that you could curve a shot but pushing just toward the edge and it would come back. Does yours behave this way? Would it be possible with your setup? Also, a forstner bit may save you a bunch of fill and putty work next time around. ;)
The bolts he put under the table allow you to adjust the playing surface to play like that.
Proffesional boards are not 100% level, they all have those little glitches which help them do the trick stuff in games, lol
Did you do a seal coat first, or just one full pour of the epoxy?
Absolutely loved your video! I will be doing this for my house. Thank you for sharing. PS. Loved the little scene with your son. Nice touch. So, anything you would do different now? I also laughed when I saw the quality of your lumber. No way will I find that at my Home Depot! Also, that butcher block is now $350!
como puedo obtener planos para construir mesa de shufleboard
Maybe I missed it but what was the cost?
How long did you leave the painters tape on?
How thick is the butcher block? Two inches? One and a half? Maybe I missed it.
2 to 3 inxches are pretty standard, you can use what you like
How many pallets did ya go through to get good stuff, lol
what was the total cost for the build? and can i use birch butcher block instead of maple?
Total cost is around $800. Any butcher block should work because the actual playing surface is the epoxy, not the block
On a budget, what the realistic price this could be built for?
$800
Be nice but I live in Philippines and can’t go to home 'Depot
Can you tell me where you got your leather from?
JoAnn Fabrics
I still don't get the hole slots in the board.
The slots in the base are for the Climate Adjusters ...so you can have a slight concave playboard
Do you own an old folks home?

Sure he had it all milled, lol,no lumber yard has perfect wood,he just forgot to mention it,lol
Yep HOMEDEPOT DOESENT SELL GOOD LUMBER YA HAVE TOMDIG A PALLET TO GET WHAT YA NEED,LOL
warning the plans are NOT FREE. I just went to the link and its $9 very disappointed
Free plans, all I see is ones for $9.00
If you scroll down a little further you’ll see it all there. For free. Even states that in the description for the paid plans.
