that's a sweet deal! as long as there is no holes in the bowl and lid, everything else is pretty much fixable and can get the parts from weber. but yes this grill is great to cook on
It sounds like it's 4" bigger, but it's way bigger! You can float a 22" cooking grate on top of a couple of charcoal baskets if you want even more cooking area. I call it Pagoda style. Right on Sal!
i probably should have mentioned that and compare the space you get in square inches but it requires math and that's going to get people to click away fast lol! but yes!...the elvated grate is something i use to always do on my 22" for direct grilling(before i got my santa maria grill attachment)
Direct heat creates much more grill/charcoal flavor since the meat is over the coals during cooking. It’s more involved though because you have to keep an eye on it to flip. Indirect is easier since you create more a roasting/oven type of environment inside your grill
I wound up getting a 26" from a yard sale for $20. It needs to tlc but still works fairly well as is

Man plenty of room
In there!! Indirect cooking is the best !!
Yes exactly! Soo much room. Super nice
What kind of tray or pan, wrapped in the foil, under the chicken, is that?
It’s called the drip in griddle made by sns grills

How is indirect heat compares to direct heat over coals?

@@SJCOOKS thnx
Looks like that 26-inch kettle holds plenty, Sal! Load it up, I'm on my way!😂

Take that dark meat to 200 my guy. You'll love it so much more than 170. Changed the way I do quarters ever since I learned. Great review.
great tip! I will agree the dark meat can def handle the higher temps
Where'd you get that drip pan?🤔
it's the sns drip in griddle xl for the 26" kettle, snsgrills.com/collections/drip-pans/products/drip-griddle-pan-xl
I need to see some fajitas cooked on that
Coming soon!
The price is a little steep. Wish they had sells. Or refurbished
