Bought my 22 in 03 at yard sale. Was like new. Still grilling and chillin👍✌️
I’ve been wanting a charcoal grill with a cover for a while. I used to have one of the smaller basic Weber kettle grills that I gave away thinking I’d upgrade and get a better charcoal grill. Few years and couple of charcoal grills later, I regret giving away that Weber. Ive been on the hunt for that ultimate charcoal grill when I came across this video which made me realize again that the Webers have been around for 70 years for a damn good reason. Thank you for this!
that was spot on and just what I needed. Thanks for taking time to make and post.
Hey, that's so kind, thanks for watching !!
Great channel. Ran into it and binge watched several videos. Thanks. Looking forward to more BBQ Info
MORE COMING EVERY WEEK!! THANKS!!
Thank you sir for helping me decide on the perfect Father's Day gift! Hubby will love the Master Touch!
Thanks for taking the time to make this great video. I learned a lot!
Richard, thanks for making the time to watch and comment!!! MORE TO COME!
Great explanation!
I graduated to pellet from propane last summer. Now summer 2021.....if we are all still around I'm looking to learn charcoal. Thank you sir!
I feel like an OG with my 18" now great vid
Just want to say thank you for this video, I’m considering getting a new grill and this video was very helpful
Well that made my day when I saw this. So I wanted to get back and thank you personally. Very kind words, and I'lll keep it upl! Ring the bell!!
Thank you for this video. This helped me narrow down the choice.
Awesome dude! Finally a good comparison of all three. Rock on.
I love my Weber Premium! I smoked a whole chicken on it today, yum! I’m going to do a brisket for Easter! I would recommend those charcoal holders for anyone buying it, they are inexpensive and do a great job! I think most of the great pit masters, in their heart of hearts probably love their Weber 22” the best!
Klaus
Best grill ever made.. I have the 18 inch classic for 10 years and it’s still going strong. Excellent investment.
@Devitz DandruFF excellent purchase, not an investment
I live in Brazil and i was looking for the best grill, this content helped me, thank u
Wow, that is an impressive collection. I love the original 22". Thing Idon't like about the new Weber Kettles is they move the hook from the old location, old location worked better. Nicely done video!
Went with the Master series a few days ago and I love it
excellent video, exactly what I was looking for
thank you so much for this video. i'm in the market for a new kettle and you provided us with a concise breakdown of the differences between the master touch and premium. now if only i could find the master touch in red 😝
THANKS FOR WATCHING MATT! So, the anniversary edition that came out last year is red. But, it's not the master touch gourmet, but it has the one touch system. You can customize it to be just like the Gourmet though.
Excellent video man, thanks to your video now I know what to buy. Greetings from Guadalajara Mexico.
Fantastic video, very helpful!
Thank you! awesome video!
I bought my 18” kettle in 1973 and it still works great.
Ohhhh man!!!Send a photo Randy!!! I would LOVE to see it!
Damn I was born 3 years later. Talk about getting your money's worth.
This video really helped me, thanks !
Nicely done video and great presence on camera, I think I'll subscribe!
Well that was hella-kind of ya!! Thanks so much for watching. Spring will be HUGE!
Don't know when you posted this but just today I was at Home Depot. They have the Weber BBQs on a shelf so I wasn't able to compare. I had to leave my beloved 22" inch behind when I moved and now I want a replacement. Thanks for the video.
Have you been able to get a replacement yet?
Weber’s never die. I got one sitting on old pipes and it’s still a beast
My favorite weber is the one I find on the curb for free... drill out and replace the one-touch cleaning system. $25 grill. You can usually find one or two per year if you're looking. The things look and work like brand new.
The one touch is on classics now as well. Still has the ash tray, no can. Great vid.
I have the master touch and love it can’t recommend it highly enough!
HELL YEAH!
Useful video thanks very informative.
thanks.. just bought a 22" second hand and now I know how to work it..
Great explanation of Weber models!
Love your videos sir! I have a 26 inch and I’m struggling with it can you do some videos with the 26?! I feel like the size of the grill stops it from getting hot enough a tutorial videos would be magnificent!
I love my Weber grill that I have been using since 2006, still going strong!
AMEN! Thanks for watching #BBQiT
awesome job!!!! I know which I'm getting for the 4th of July👍👍👍
That's awesome bro!! Let me know how the first cook goes!!
I got a 22" Premium black kettle with a cover as an anniversary gift from work. It's the best thing they've ever done for me, that's for sure. 5 years ago I got a small wine refrigerator which as also cool though. Before that it was nothing but junk, but man this grill is something else I'm tellin' ya!
Man, they make a solid machine! Congrats!
Great video. Thank you!
I bought the premium 22" im happy to see the function of the small lid to put the cover on the side ! I didn't know that! I choose the cooper edition can't wait to receive it
THAT'S AWESOME!!! Get cooking!!!
Good information!
I'm so glad it helped!!! And thank you so much for watching the videos!
Awesome video man. I knew nothing about Weber grills until i bought one at a garage sale for 10 bucks a few years ago. (18 inch older model) Since then i learned how to smoke a brisket using the snake method. Unfortunately the grill is pretty beaten up so i'll be getting a new one soon. This video really helped me a lot
Nice bro! Thanks for watching and responding! And subscribe if ya like!
This helped. Thanks sir!
Great video. Thanks!
Many thanks extremely practical. Will share content with my pals.
Damn fine of you, thanks !!! Ring da bell and subscribe!!!
Great info! Now I know which one I want to add to my backyard.
Did you get a grill yet Jason Pierce??
Hey, thanks a ton! Send a photo if ya get a new sweet machine !
Excellent review. Subbed 👍
Hey now!!thanks a ton!!!
“Ssssssssss, sear city.” 😂 love it!
Ha!! LOVE IT!
The ash catcher alone is worth the $50 upgrade... you can bbq three or four times before dumping out the bin... vs everytime on the original model and not make a huge mess on the ground. Thermometer on lid is a very nice bonus.
The ash catcher is the winner for sure!!! I love my 26r the most!
Ring the bell!!! Subscribe!!!! and Thanks!!!!
Yeah man I had the premium one and sold it for like 40 bucks cuz I wasn't using it anymore then now I got the urge to bbq had to buy the original 😩 with out some of the perks I wish I had now
@@JosePerez-ok8ez Ouch! Sorry to hear that man. If you got free time, you might want to check out Craigslist, you might find a model with the ash catcher... ppl are always upgrading or moving, and just looking to get rid of it cheap.
Never bothered me having to clean it out with pan on the original.
I’m a Weber fanatic. Great walkthrough of their fine products. I own a 22” basic kettle, WSM and a Weber Summit Charcoal Grill
Thanks again! So much more to come, so stay tuned! And thanks for watching, Ring da bell and subscribe!!!
Amazing review
Why thank you Ahmed!!
I have the 18.5 and 22 inch Webers. Get the 22inch if you want to smoke meats (brisket, slab of ribs X5, 1/3 of beef clod, etc.). The taller height of the 22 makes it easier to cook food such as beer can chicken, slab of ribs on its side to smoke. I've smoked meats using the snake method on both 18.5 and 22; 22 gives you more width and height.
I love them all, but the 26r is king for me when doing brisket or ribs...or anything!
Thanks for watching!!
nice job thanks for the info
glad to help, and thanks for watching!
U r very very welcome! Thanks for tuning in, ring the bell!!
Thank you! Purchase the Master Touch! I need to purchase accessories! If you have extras would love some!
Good video. Reminds me back when I was living in Costa Rica for a year 8 years ago. While down there my roommates and I (with some help of course) built ourselves our own grill by cutting a stainless steel barrel in half. It's probably still there being used to this day.
I have the original which i have had a long time and now gonna upgrade to the biggest 26" one
Nice review
Got the Master Touch for Dad Day! Wish the rack below was tall enough to store my chimney.
Great video! What was the big (4th) one at the end please?
Awesome video friend! New subscribers (Weber Grill Masters) here from Canada! :)
I love your reviews! I was leaning towards Napoleon Pro 22, but after watching your reviews, I'm gonna stick with the Weber, and go for a master touch premium 22.
A fine choice Simon!! Thanks for watching! And hit the sub and the bell if ya haven't!!
@@BBQiT Sub'd 👍
Thanks for the education! Great vid. P.S. gf loves the beard.
When I got my 26 I gave my 22 to my mom. It's been a year and it's been used 1 time. By me... man I miss it lol. That said the 26 is awesome!
LOVE my 26r!! Thanks for watching and subscribing Steve!
I had a huge char griller smoker that I was using as a regular grill for burgers, and it was awful to maintain. I decided to get the Weber premium $175 for the burgers and veggies and it's so easy to maintain.
and you can do durn near anything with it with a bunch of cheap aluminum pans 👍
Just talking to a buddy of mine about which Weber 22" he should buy. This will be *very* helpful for him!
DAMN! That's the BEST!!! When I know it helped, my job is done!! And thanks for watching, Ring da bell and subscribe!!!
BBQ iT Subscribed!
Nice collection of grills in the background also 👍
Just a small lil sample! lol...I have issues. Thanks for watching!!!
please do at tour of the other BBQs in background for next video

@@btfoaccounting2902 Aha!!!! so funny, i just watched Baby Back Maniac give a tour, and thought the same!! I have about 30 or so at the house, and about 10 or so in storage..Issues!! lol
Ok, that's coming...you'll see a sneak peak in tomorrow WEBER PERFORMER 1O1 video!
Very helpful thank you
Hey, you're very welcome! Thanks for watching! #BBQiT
How did I miss your channel? A fellow Weber aficionado. I have the Weber platinum performer bro with the propane starter it’s awesome. You need it. Nice video very nice.
HAHAL!! Well, ya found me!! Thanks a to for stopping by. I have a HUUUUGE PERFORMER VIDEO coming tomorrow!!!
Awesome 👏
I gotta get me one of those 26’s.
Cool thing about these are you can modify it thanks to amazon you can buy the original 22 inch, upgrade the ash catcher install thermometers, add a handle to the damper,
Thank you very helpful!
And thank you so much! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Don't be afraid to go with the basic 22" as prices have skyrocketed lately (2024). I clean my grill out before every use to get gunk out of the bottom, so the one-touch is not really needed. I also dial in the vent on top for temps because I do a lot of low and slow using the snake method so leaving the bottom wide open to avoid getting blocked with ash or drippings is wise. I have had mine for many years and paid $74 for it new. I use it for everything but brisket and pork shoulder and for those we use the offset.
I got my original 22 jumbo joe premium for 35.00 awesomeness
Good solid review. Thank you. I do have a question for you. Does the Master Touch 22" also have a hook on the inside of the lid. I plan on mounting this in a BBQ island and won't be able to use the "lid bale". I can mount it where a few inches of the kettle protrude out past the edge of the cement counter top. Thank you for your advice.
The UK must get slightly different versions. I have a 22 with the gas system but no temp dial. Nethertheless fantastic product.
I caught the basic one on clearance at my local wall wrld for 49 bux 2 years ago. Could not pass on that. Added a thermometer to the lid. Love that grill
Wally world lol
Hey, sweet!! Thanks for watching Isuman! Ring da bell and subscribe!!!
Those things are spotless, can you do a video about how to clean the kettles
I agree, I would like to know what you use and you keep them so clean.
I have a weber 22.5 grill and I added a Weber rotisserie insert. Goes between the pot and the lid. Works great for rotisserie chicken, pork and beef roasts.
THE roto is the best damn thing ever!! I love mine!!! Please subscribe!!
@@BBQiT I all ready am.
The wife when she cooks goes for the weber gas. Going to buy the master kettle when i grill. Best of both worlds, and we are both happy. Great review, sir.
THANKS BRO!!
On every garage sale in America cheap. Picked up a performer and a 22" along the road this weekend.
Nice job
Third generation kettle user here. Can't wait to give my son a new one when he gets his own home.
Yes your right Weber makes the best kettles and imo the best costumer support.. New Sub and rang that bell.
Hellyeah! thabnks Joe!
"They just keep spinnin..." 😂 Great video thanks
Still using my one touch gold from 2009, best grill ever!
Epic, love a 1 touch!! And a decade old! Nice!! Thanks for watching and subscribing
Me too, 2012 here.
2005 here 👍
I finally sold the one touch to a friend and got a Smoke Grey 2020 Master Touch last summer. Awesome grill!
Oh Yes! They are awesome value, REALLY hard to beat, and almost indestructible!? 22" is a great cooking size too.
Mine sat outside in the weather for 5 years (live in the Mid South). I actually installed a thermometer on the lid before Weber ever did! ;-)
I passed it on to my son, who had it for 3 years (lives on the Gulf Coast) and he passed it on to a friend, who still uses it frequently and it hasn't weathered a bit after 11 years!
Love, love, love my Webers!
Love the BBQ grills
HEY THANKS!!! LOVE THE FEEDBACK !!1
The 22 you can also put a desco on it and it works so well!!
NIce! Thanks for watching #BBQiT
So I'm going over some Weber grills with my 75 year old dad. As soon as you said "SSSSSSSS, Sear City", in complete monotone voice he goes "That's the one" with that old man, deadass look in his eyes. I absolutely lost it.
But what about that 26" :( now how I'm i honna know which one I want
Good video!
Hey, thanks so much for watching!!
Kind words indeed!!! Thaks so much for watching, ring the bell!
nice videooo
Craig, I thought you were going to talk about the 26"?

I just bought my second green premium grill. The only way that I know of to get a Weber Grill in a color than black is to order it online. I got mine on Amazon with free shipping. If you go to the Weber website they charge for shipping.
They released new colors, well, old Canadian ones, but at least they are here!!! Checkem out!! And thanks for watching and subscribing!
I love my new Webber Kettle!
Congrats!! Thanks for watching and please sub and hit the bell & a like!!
I'ver had the Premium 22" for about 10 years. The ash-catcher housing that is attached to the bottom the kettle rusted away at the attachment point -- where the lip slides into the leg connection. Time for a new one, me thinks, but my wife says deal with it.
You can replace everything, but a new 22 or 26 would be awesome!
Good designs
Do i have to seasoned before the first time or not i gone buy the beautiful premium one
I got my 22 deluxe for Father’s Day about 12 years ago. I have used it a couple times a week since I got it and it’s still rock solid. Too bad everything you buy isn’t built like a Webber
I have three Weber grills 1985 22" a 18" Jumbo Joe and a 14" Smokey Joe the Smokey Joe is my favorite and most used
FANTASTIC! I have a few 22's, 18's, SJ's, and performers. Plus the 26r. I haven't even cooked on the 18's yet!! thanks for subscribing!!!

COVID-19 Quarantine time and... I'm going with the Master Touch, thank you for the video... I had the charcoal baskets in my cart on Amazon which is $20.00 right now. So basically for $35 more I can get the nicer wheels and a few extra perks. Thanks again!!
c0nstancy same here! Just ordered the Master Touch in Spring Green, can’t wait! 🥩🍗
My Dad has a 22" kettle that is about 30 years old that has THREE Daisy wheels on bottom for ventilation. I'm not sure if it has the external lever for ash cleaning.
I've never seen another like it and I've never seen anyone online talking about that set-up. How about you?
BTW: My only kettle is a red, gen 1 performer that I picked up in 1998 or 1999 for $25. It was years later before I realized what a bargain I got.
Is there an updated version of this comparison or are they still pretty much the same nowadays?
Great prices now these grills, now the end of summer, after Labor Day (USA).
