Thanks so much Rick. I'm a 76 year old grandmother. Needed to change rear wiper on my 2016 Rogue. So glad I checked this out on RUclips. Went outside, took off the old wiper, clicked new one on, no problem. BOOM!!!
Thanks Bonnie, I am just behind you. I will be 70 this year. Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you found the video helpful. When I originally searched RUclips on this subject all the videos said to remove them nut and rent or buy a puller. I knew there had to be a better way.
Thank you Rick! Every other video almost made me cry. I’m not helpless but when you flipped the blade, AMAZING! I’ve changed plenty of blades in my lifetime but this one felt almost impossible until I watched your video. Gals like us really need you, keep up the good work!😁
Thanks for the kind words, Della; Some of the videos I watched talked about unbolting the arm and buying or renting a puller. Thats likely what you saw. I have been a mechanic since the 1970s (Now retired) I thought that ridicules as I knew there had to be an easier way. Thanks for watching.
That was amazingly easy. I just replaced my Rogue's rear wiper blade using this technique and it took me mere seconds. Upvote for how easy, and if I could an extra upvote for the German shepherd.
Thanks Thomas; At the time I made the video we had recently purchased the Rouge. When I decided to replace the rear wiper blade the only information I could find instructed me to remove the arm nut, then rent or buy a special puller to get the arm off. I have been repairing vehicles since the 1970s and had never herd of anything so ridiculous. After I played around with it I realized there was just enough flex in the blade an the arm to flip the blade around. The dogs name is Hi Ho, he is what is called a Silver Saddle Back German Shepperd. As I am righting this he just turned 8 years old. Thanks for watching my channel.
I know you already got a ton of comments. And here's another onell. I I ordered the rear blade on amazon using the car parts finder filter based on my year make and model. 2010 Rogue The blade arrived. Went downstairs to change it. And I thought they sent the wrong blade or something because I saw it was flexing up near the bolt and I couldn't figure out how to change it. I was about to return it. Decided to look up a video. And came across yours after watching a few other ridiculous other ones that instructed me to buy a weird puller device. So thank you! You saved me money from buying a puller. An saved me from the hassle of wasting my time returning what I thought was an incorrect part lol.
Comments are always welcome; I try to respond to them all. I was in the same boat, when I saw a few videos on how to change these blades I said to myself there has to be an easier way. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching my channel.

The wiper seller actually told me to refer to this video , wasted so much time trying to push it out before watching the video, had no idea it was quite simple, thank you
I'm not a car person. You made it simple and easy to understand. I was able to change the rear blade on my 2015 Rogue with confidence and no hassle after watching your video once! Thanks so much!!
Awesome! Many thanks, Richard! Your method is also well suited for a Versa Note 2014, my daughter's car. Prior to look at RUclips for clues, I tried to do the job on my own, thinking it would be done in a cinch... Firstly, I unbolted the rear arm tried to take it off, unsuccessfully. Tried wd40 and PB Blaster, no way, heavily seized... With the cold outside and the snow falling, was a bit frustrated. Was going to use my only puller, a pitman arm puller... Just before, went on RUclips and looked at your video, and voilà : done in a cinch ! Season's greetings, Richard !
Thanks for the kind words Jean. The first video I saw recommended pulling the arm. I thought that was ridiculous. I knew there had to be an easier way. Thanks for watching my channel.
My guy, thanks to your video I understood it won't break if I turned it inward. My installation was actually much easier. I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to share your knowledge.
Very helpful indeed. I couldn’t figure how to get the damn thing off. Then once I flipped it over with the little room available, the damn blade shot off on its own! 😝 Getting the new one was just as easy. Thank you very much! Great video!!!
I bought a RainX wiper and went to their website for video installation and none of the videos were helpful. This video was simple and exactly what I needed. Thank you!!
I had purchased one of these cars for my wife. When she complained that the back wiper needed to be replaced, Like yourself I could not find any useful information on how to do it. One site suggested removing the nut and buying a special puller. I did not want to give my dealer a hundred bucks or more. Once I figured out an easier way I posted the video. I have had thousands of views and no one has reported damaging the arm by flexing it a little bit. Thanks for watching.
Thank you Richard, I've been battling with the rear wiper on my 2010 Rouge since we first bought it to change the rear wiper blade. It took less time to do it than it took to watch your video! I'm hitting the subscribe button as we speak. Thanks again!
Thanks Rich. Much more helpful instruction than the words in the Owner's manual. My rear wiper on the 1917 Australian Qashqai is the same. I got part of the way you showed and will now go further with confidence and hopefully just change the rubber.
Thanks Eric; When I decided to replace the rear wiper blade the only information I could find instructed me to remove the arm nut, then rent or buy a special puller to get the arm off. Thanks for this video which will help. Never replaced a rear wiper. I just went out to test removal but also have to find wiper to buy. I did notice when installing wiper, the top nose of wiper goes inward, there is a small notch inside and if you look at the wiper, it has a slit where the nose snaps into. I worried at first after removing that wiper was lose. I looked and noticed how the wiper also snaps at the tip. Thanks, I got wiper off and back on and can't wait to replace. You did some good research on an EASY removal...

The later models (21-24s) are almost exactly the same, only difference is a tiny tab at the end of the arm, so instead of flipping it you just line up the wiper pivot rods with the slot and snap it in, removal is the same, install even simpler align and snap

@@tothrec I have done that a number of times on other Nisson products but not the Rouge. We still have the Rouge from the rear wiper video. In the days to come I will look at that. I will try to post something.

Thanks Joseph; glad the video was helpfull
you are the best
Thanks Oscar; at the time I thought it to be kind of a silly video, but it has become one of my more popular. Evidently a lot of people were having trouble changing those blades. Thanks for watching.
Thank u sir. Works on 2015 rogue too.
thank you. glad the video was helpful
THANKS FOR THE INFO
I am very sorry I have taken so long to reply. When I decided to replace the rear wiper blade for the first time, the only information I could find instructed me to remove the arm nut, then rent or buy a special puller to get the arm off. At the time I thought that ridiculous and knew there had to be an easier way. After I played around with it, I realized there was just enough flex available to flip the blade around, so I went ahead and posted the video. I am glad you found it and found it helpful.
Owners manual says to see your dealer, nothing more. Got to love these designs.
Thanks Robert.

THANK YOU!!
Thanks to you for watching.
Succinct. Even I could understand it. Great job
Thanks Michael
The later models (21-24s) are almost exactly the same, only difference is a tiny tab at the end of the arm, so instead of flipping it you just line up the wiper pivot rods with the slot and snap it in, removal is the same, install even simpler align and snap
thanks for sharing
Thank youuuuu!!!
Thank you Koy for watching.

Thanks for watching Lunna; I am glad you found the video and found it helpful.
thank you so much!
At the time I made the video we had recently purchased the Rouge. When I decided to replace the rear wiper blade the only information, I could find instructed me to remove the arm nut, then rent or buy a special puller to get the arm off. I have been repairing vehicles since the 1970s and had never heard of anything so ridiculous. After I played around with it, I realized there was just enough flex in the blade and the arm to flip the blade around. Thanks for watching my channel.
@@richardspaulding5035 well, I sure appreciated your video. Any chance you have replaced the cabin air filter? Nissan really made it hard!
@@tothrec I have done that a number of times on other Nisson products but not the Rouge. We still have the Rouge from the rear wiper video. In the days to come I will look at that. I will try to post something.
Thank you buddy
