Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today, we're taking a look at the Michelin Cyclone windshield wiper blades here on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now, if you're starting to have trouble with your windshield wiper blades not doing a good job of cleaning off any of that rain or debris, this can be a great simple solution to start getting us back on the road. Now right away with the Michelin Cyclone, you are getting a nice little few advantages here. One big thing I like about it is, you are getting your entirety of your blade covered by this nice little rubber cover. It is doing a good job of kind of pressing on the blade, as you can see, it is kind of pushing down on the corners, that way, we're gonna have a nice smooth coverage cross the entirety of our windshield.
And one thing I like about that cover as well, too, it's gonna prevent any kind of like debris from getting the inside of this assembly, whether that be like snow, ice, or just kinda bug guts, or, you know, leaves or anything like that. I do like how it is completely sealed, not gonna have anything actually getting in the way. And I think it's gonna do a pretty good job, too, of giving us that necessary pressure across our blade as we need it. Now, the installation's gonna take no time at all. Let's go ahead and take a closer look.
Today, we're starting on our driver's side here, and we are gonna be utilizing the 26-inch version of this guy. On the end here, too, yeah, this is where things might be a little different at home. Now, each adapter that you might have on here might just be slightly different. We should have our J-style hook on the end of our Rogue here today. To release ours, we just have a little plastic tab to press in, and that's gonna allow us to start taking this guy down, nicely and easily, as you can see.
All I had to do was press in a little plastic tab on the inside of that, just to release it. Things might just be a little different if somebody's already gone ahead and added a different blade to our Rogue. And to insert ours, we just simply take our J-style adapter here. You can see it's gonna wanna be fitting in around that kind of hinge there. And all I wanna do is simply press this up and into it.
I do want it to click in, though, not to pull off, like so and shouldn't have too much here. Now on the back end, I can see that that tab's not really engaging. I'm gonna go ahead and press it up. And there we go, doing a good job of holding in there. You can see it's rotating without popping off. Now we can go ahead and do our passenger side. Here we are on our passenger side, we'll go ahead and repeat that process. Again, to take our old one off, finding that little tab on the inside there, pushing that out and sliding ours off, quick and simply. We take our new blade, finding that right side of the adapter, sliding it across our hook, onto it, and clicking in. And we're ready to wipe. Here we are, just simulating a little bit of rain. As you can see, our windshield wiper blade's doing a good job of clearing off all of that rain, not really seeing any streaks being left behind or any kind of bumps where it's not getting good pressure. So we know that edge is doing a good job at getting across all of our windshield. Well as you guys saw, that installation took no time at all, and it did do a very good job of getting across the entirety of our windshield. Now with the Michelins, you might have a couple other differences. I think this guy is really gonna be doing a good job. If you are starting to get a lot of maybe fall debris or a lot of winter, like ice and snow, really gonna be impacting that inside of the assembly that cover is gonna do a good job of protecting our frame. Well, I think that about does it for our look at the Michelin Cyclone windshield wiper blades here on our 2021 Nissan rogue. I'm Bobby. Thank you for watching..
