    This video is amazing, and I'm glad you uploaded it as well as your other tutorials Fundando, really good stuff. I had a few questions regarding the barrier strip you used, as well as assembling the parts required to create your own LED joystick
    1. Once acquired, do I need to solder the wires from the joystick and extra harness into the barrier strip, or is it a screw terminal? I was curious about how it actually worked.
    2. Is there a specific type of barrier strip I need to buy? I see some on amazon with 600v 25A or 600v 15A. Which is better?
    3. How does one assemble the joystick when buying all the parts separately? Specifically, how does one connect the LED wire into the joystick?
    If you're able to answer any (or all) of my questions that'd be great. Thanks for your time.

    So I've managed to get as far as soldering everything together and I've got the joystick lighting up, but I don't know how to get the joystick installed properly? It lights up but the motherboard doesn't recognize directional inputs? There's no 5-pin connector port on the Sanwa JLF Cherry mod. How do I connect the Cherry Sanwa to the Brook Board so that it may recognize the directional inputs??

    if i did this and the stick led i wouldnt require an external power source at all? nor would it push the xbone or ps4 too hard to power it?

    Is it required that you must have a Brook PCB for the Kaimana Mini PCB to work? Or are you able to use whichever one you choose?

      you can use any common ground pcb if you use the kaimana adaptor?

    question 1. So with the Adapter being mislabeled, both the leg wires and the harness wires need to be adjusted or just the led wires
    queston 2. For programming, the joystick only has one led correct?

    • @mukiex4413
      @mukiex4413 4 года назад

      1. It only needs to be adjusted once. Swap green for red.
      2. Yes

    I wish this video had been available before I ordered all my stuff, I ordered the hollow shaft, balltop and LED along with the kaimana mini 8 button kit, and had asked if that was everything I needed. Wasn't told I needed further adaptors, and getting those shipped over to the UK on their own just isn't worth it... Quite possibly no LED Ball Top for me =(

      In a similar position; looking towards making an order soon, but trying to get my head around absolutely everything required. Am I correct in assuming if I wanted to support all mainstream consoles from the past few decades I'd need a Brook Fighting Board (PS4, PS3, XBone, Xbox360), a Multi-Console Cthulhu (retro consoles) AND a padhack to support Sega Genesis? That sounds like a lot to achieve, so wondering if I want to complicate things by also implementing an illuminated stick.

    • @Vikingeek
      @Vikingeek 8 лет назад +1

      tbh if you're using a Brook UFB adding a kaimana LED setup is very easy! it doesn't really complicate things all that much - I only had an issue because I unfortunately didn't order all the bits required to light the joystick as well and ordering them seperately to the UK is wayyyy to expensive.

    So this drop-in kit is made for sanwa sticks, correct? So I should be able to drop all of these parts into a hori hayabusa, yeah?

      +FullmetalShay Just got my Hayabusa Lever in the mail today! I had to shorten the shaft cover to fit better with the Hoku Balltop a little bit.I figured I might as well mount it. Check it Out

    Is there a way to send the arcade stick and to buy all the parts and send them to this store. Or somewhere where they can install it without having to do it myself ? This looks like a time consuming task I would prefer a profesional to install them

    This is hilarious. This company literally wants to nickel and dime you... lmao. You have to purchase the ball, the rod, the harness, and every god damn pieces. When assembled, it’s nothing but multicolor RGB. Not even sanwa quality but you will pay about $70. Why? That thing is trash.
