Acabei de me inscrever no seu canal. Excelente trabalho
Muito bom! Top dos ToP's
I’m on a quest to finally learn how to do this. I need help though still even though I’m only allowed a limited amount of information. I don’t know how to gather the ROMs or the files. Somebody who is making an arcade cabinet in the video I just finished said to just google Botacera 128 GB. And he says that I’ll be able to find the information from there or maybe he hinted around that
@@Marlevlyn yes, just google that and in 5 minutes you will find all the info that you need, you can also buy an ssd drive with all the roms already there
Can u build to order, im in the UK?
23 minutes of happiness and admiration. Thank you! 🕹️♥️
Thanks :) glad you liked
Your dedication to achieving milestones is truly commendable😊
Single best cab build video for regular guy diy I've seen to date.
No expensive elaborate tools or cutting techniques. Just hand tools and a few specialty drill bits, low cost and easy to obtain, use and store.
Thanks, glad you liked, the games have another meaning played like that :)

@@DTeK😅
I watch a lot of DIY arcade and this is one of the best simple ones. I also like it black where it contrasts with the game you're playing. Good job!
thanks :)
it runs crysis :)
Feeling nostalgic!!
Seeing this took me back to the days when arcade was at the peak of gaming !!
Love it ❤❤❤ .
Every 90s guys love to have one of those back then .
I had always dreamed of building my own arcade, but the tutorials I found on RUclips seemed impossible to me, but your carpentry techniques seem easy to follow because you perfectly show all the details in the video, thank you very much for sharing so much work !. Definitely thanks to your video I will be able to start my project.
Thanks
Good video but struggled to get through it with that overpowering music. Lose the music and your video would be far better
What an amazing project! Bit of a overkill with the processing power, but if you had mainboard and video card sitting around, it is a waste not to use them. Some very elegant solutions in your build (retractable keyboard is a very nice touch). Loved it!
Thank you, glad you liked, this was my backup computer that was used very rarely, it can run all the emulators in full power and even recent windows games with a good performance, i had to have an easy to acess keyboard :)
My wrist hurts watching you build this awesomeness counter acade. You did an amazing job.
Excellent! Just a recommendation: both lower coolers should take in air and the upper coolers should take out air. By convection, hot air remains at the top. In this way you improve the temperature of the hardware. Greetings!
Thanks, that´s the better way for the fans but in this case i choose this configuration because of the power supply fan direction and position
Very nice build. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks, glad you liked
The quality of your works is a reflection of determination😊
need direction wheel for car games
Nice and subbed. Great Idea for the speakers. And the Mar·quee? Is that like a printed it out sticker or something? I might have to watch and maybe I missed that part
Thanks, i bought them from aliexpress, they are vinil stickers, had a few more for the side panels but ended up for using only those on the front
Great job brother. I would have went with 6 button layouts and added a trackball instead of the 8 button, but it's all what makes you happy. You do have room to add one of those mini trackballs if you wanted to.
Thanks for the suggestion
@DTeK im not saying that to be Mean, if your anything like me (let's hope not), you probably enjoy building projects and things more then you Even do playing the games on them. Lol I'm not happy unless I'm upgrading or adding something else to one of my projects lol 😂
I'm shocked that you put the screws in by hand haha
Pretty Amazing!
How much for you to build me one 😊
Holy Crap; That Score/Drill bit is Awesome!
yeah agreed, let's you do all the sizes you want. heck yeah. for a lot of projects, no need for a huge hole saw kit.
Nice build! You should try a vpin sometime, would be cool to see what you come up with :)
Thanks :)
Excellent build. My only critique would be making the IO more accessible from the outside just in case you could want to connect another controller or two for more players, or feed the output to a bigger screen. I can't deny the appeal of an old school self-contained arcade machine, though.
thanks, there is 4 usb module between the keyboard and mouse
@@DTeK Sorry, I didn't notice. Thanks for your prompt reply!
loved it.. do you have the ply wood details? height length dimensions? so that i can try make one too?! 🙏🏽
i will post all the panels measurements
very good video but I wanted to ask you if you have the construction plans for the bartop
might add and share the plans in a near future
Outstanding, watched it with great pleasure. Now contemplating building one myself :) Thank you very much for the inspiration!
Thanks, i just wanted to have an arcade machine at home, i´m just loving it, the games have another meaning played like that
Those buttons sound terrible. Amazing video!
Thanks, they are a little bit noisy but they do the job, they also sound louder because i turn off the sound from the cabinet because of copyright sounds
Interesting. The full size does seem to take up space and standing for long periods get tiring plus its not easy to focus while standing too much
Take my money.
Like and Subscribed.
Thanks :)
what do you put after you sand the surface and before you painted black?
its wood sealer
Hello, I loved what you did. Can you explain to us how to connect everything together❤️?
the buttons connect to an usb board, each conector is labeled
@DTeK thank you very much, We need a detailed explanation of how to connect the buttons to the usb card
Hello.
What is the name of the program you use to manage all the systems?
I used batocera
Now how do I set it up that it uses actual coins instead of a button for coins? Good work.
Thanks, you can buy the coin module :)
i m here after mvc crossovers series announcement .....wanna build one for my cafe.
Very nice build, took your time to line things up and get it all sorted. Cable management is super good. Your airflow could be better, but then you will have to look at alternative mounting points, just keep it as it. Love it man.
Thanks, glad you liked :)
This is one of those people who did bartop arcades with a few easy-to-get tools they got at Home Depot and Amazon, without the needs of expensive tools.
Excellent build. LOVE it. Is that a straight Windows OS set up? Can you tell us the specs needed OS/ app you used etc.
Thanks, i´m using dual boot, the first boot is batocera, the second boot is windows
@@DTeKBatocera? Can it run tekken 7,8 and street fighter 5 and 6?
awesome!! please give me that xD!
Ficou top.
The good thing about doing it yourself is that you get the gratification of your accomplishment, plus you can sell it and make extra cash. The possibilities are endless since the retro gaming scene is growing fast.
Can you publish the technical drawing of the housing with dimensions?
in the future i´m going to measure all the panels and share the measures with pictures
I am making my 4th one using a cheap (30 UK pounds), all in one PC from lenovo, I'm struggling with a correct rom set for neo geo and mame, any links?
Excellent work. 👏🏼👏🏼
Excellent work! God bless you and yours! Praying for you!
As others mentioned, I agree that a tracball in the center, lower center or side should be a standard feature, to handle trac and dial/paddle games, plus use as mouse for computer ui.
You got it right re top row of white buttons, add a few more to handle l, r mouse buttons and windows keys, f keys and most used menu, ui keys for retropie, emuelec, emustation, mame, etc. With labels for functions under botton tops, ie Sekect, Back, Setup, etc.
If you do vpin games, side mounted buttons for flippers.
Amazing . I like the Word Heroes 1, & 2 from Neo Geo .
magnificent! please share the project in pdf..
thanks, its possible that i measure all the panels and them share the measures in a near future
That's a really clean project, awesome! I will certainly use some of your ideas to improve my 2017 bartop 😅
thanks :)
eu tbm kkkkk o principal ele nao postou

great vid !!! what's the software's name ?
batocera, its in the video details
Instructive and fun to watch... Brilliant
never seen a keyboard tray like this, this is actually smart
Thanks, its super usefull and very easy to acess
I was thinking a nice OLED display on the top for displaying the marquee of the currently running game would be a nice addon :D
it can be done, the panel is easily replaced with a transparent acrilic with backlight for the classic old school look or some kind of display to show the game name or logo graphics
tOP DEMAIS! Quanto Custa um arcade desses???
Harika işçilik tebrik ederim. Kullandığın aletleri ve parçaları yazar mısın?
I love this small arcade machine. How can I buy it?❤
I build it for my personal use :) but you have premade kits that you can buy and then assemble
@@DTeKwhere can I find the pre made?
wide screen monitor for games designed to be played in 4:3, with native scanlines... What a fail.
Input lag y 0 experiencia real
What’s the name of the tool you used to make the large holes? Thanks!
i call it "adjustable drill bit" xD i added the link for it in the video description
@@DTeK thanks!
Someone can share via mail or some message system link where i can get these High performance retro arcade rom and emulators?
incredible work with, force of inspiration and incredible dedication, I congratulate you, thank you for sharing such knowledge and effort
thanks :)
Nice Build. A couple of years back I did build a similar one for my kids and for me which resides in our home cinema. It is different but I could recognize several steps I did as well. Great job.
thanks, i love it, i simple love it :)
It's a beautiful thing! Well done and thanks for sharing 👍
OMG. I want 10. Xd
cool project, do you have any measured dimensions of this machine?
Excellent, One question. What emulator are you using?
Can you make one for me please, how much would it cost?
22:00 minutes play game names
turn subtitles on for games names
nice bro
Can u give us the full blueprint for this?
Damn thats a great job sir. Im also happy that you diddnt put a crappy raspberry pi in it. 👍🏾💯🔥
Thanks, i wanted full power :)
Great Video! Do you have this project ? Please!
I visit your channel for speaker videos, now I want this freakin masterpiece! Have an old PC lying around that my wife is using as a netflix machine 😂 maybe time to put it to good use hahah great stuff!!!
Thanks, glad you liked :)
What a beast of a build! Im about to finish my own sit-down arcade station and I'm just strugling a bit when it comes to the software. I can see that you are also using Batocera as a frontend. How were you able to run windows games insid the Batocera? I can only run old roms under emulators but Im having really hard time with Tekken 7, Stfighter 5 and MK11 in Batocera.
Thanks, the batocera works on dual boot, when i press the power button the batocera loads, if i want to change to windows i just need to press f8 on the boot screen
@@DTeK Nice. By any chance are you using Launchbox inside the windows boot or do you have other recommendations?
no, batocera doesn´t even need windows, it boots directly to batocera when you start the computer, in my case the first boot goes directly to batocera but if i need to use windowns i just need to press F8 to change the boot to windows
@@DTeK Yeah I tried it, I etched batocera in a flash drive and I can plug it in any pc if I want to. Its just Im having hard time running heavy games inside it. Im currently playing around with EmulationStation and RetroArch together.
very impressive and great way to show us how it was built with simple tools. I need to find cablinet latches like yours, they are awesome!
thanks :)
What kind of fighting game is it at 22:25?
Its soul calibur 2 on gamecube emulator
Amazing wood work skills and loved the cable management ❤
thanks:)
WOW Awesome DIY Arcade machine !!!
Awesome job bro, i need this arcade machine!!😁😁
Thanks, i need it too :)
Very nice and easy build, still need to do it myself and got already the parts for a "long" time, ok... except most of the wood ;)
Thanks, yes, its a simple but super fun project
It should be PSTDIFU and not DIY. Pay somebody to do it for you. That require time practing.
Why is that just about all the built bartop arcades I have seen on youtube or on Ebay for sale are using horizontal monitors? The problem I see is that a lot of games like Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Burgertime, Punchout and tons of shooters use vertical screen. If you use horizontal monitor your screen get shrunk down a lot - you'd have huge black frame over the screen of the game. The best way is to have 2 arcade bartops: one using horizontal screen and the other using vertical screen. That way you'd get to have the best of both worlds. I don't see too many built arcade bartop arcades with veritcal screen. Another way around it is to have a software program that is coded within Batocera or Hyperspin to automatically adjust the screen according to your screen size and resolution. I dont' think the author of Batocera or Hyperspin has thought of that ..or I am expecting too much. I think it's software possible.
cool video
If you used minifix,it would be much easier
classy build! Ill take the cabinet minus the PC off your hands :D
thanks xD
Very Nice build. I've been kicking around making a full size 2 player cabinet, but might do this instead. Two notes - the cooling fans swap bottom to both intake and top to both exhaust (work with the convection currents instead). - Those joysticks are horrible, I used the same kits in my cocktail table builds, everyone hated them, swapped for more rugged HAPP arcade joysticks. Overall, great job!
Thanks, for now the joysticks are ok, could try another type but i don´t feel the need for that in the near future, about the cooling fans my first ideia was to use them like you said, but i choose this right side in, left side out because of the power supply air out direction
Only thing missing is a trackball/spinner :) Great simple build. Posted this vid on a few Discords that I am connected to
Thanks :) maybe in a future upgrade i could add one of the two
very nice project, looking good...!
Why didn't you use Raspberry Pi 5,now that's it's a lot more powerful than its predecessor, and you don't have to worry about heat? Using a PC can run more games, like PC games..that's a huge bonus. But if you're only concerned about console games than Pi 5 is fine. By the way, a mini pc would work as well.
i add this computer avaliable and ready to use, max performance on all the emulators
Where can i buy a arcade machine like that. So amazing
I mean, this is cool and all, but if it's just for emulating (old) arcade games, why not use SBC like raspberry pi? Or for newer games and even light games, an APU like 760m will be suffice?
for old games anything will do but for gamecube/switch ps2/ps3 etc its necessary some power to run at full hd 60 fps
