I didn’t understand anything I just watched, besides the cutting of the box, but I enjoyed every second of it. It was amazing. I would love to buy one.
In the 80’s, we called this a Boombox.
So I need two of these! As a kit!! If someone previously mentioned, this is gold. As a complete build available for sale, or as a full-blown kit that includes all the necessary parts, hardware, and pre-cut boards, etc.... I'm dead serious. This is impeccable!
I'm trying to get my 11 year old interested in anything other than stupid console video games. And I swear something like this is just what I need for us. Fantastic work my man!!!

I agree, and it is also a kind of waste doing two smaller separated speakers. The volume for a single woofer could have been three times bigger and the sound way deeper and louder, at the same power. Still, it is an hell of a build! I'd like to have such a talent.
Pretty dope. We used to make home made boomboxs back in the day using car radio/disc player , small car 200/300 watt amplifier ,6 × 9 speakers and a small car battery .. Wood was 3/4 inch playwood.

Хорошая работа. Правильное разделение платы и акустического объёма. Но боюсь, что итоговая стоимость изделия очень высокая. Создавал аналогичный бумбокс, но добавлял солнечную панель на корпус, цена даже с учётом использования б/у деталей или отходов выходила за рамки готовых изделий из магазина. Но зато не такое как у всех, может играть бесконечно долго, особенно солнечным летом.

Dude, you reignited my dream to build a boombox. I kinda was discouraged by all the $20 bluetooth speakers lol.
Interesting choice going with Android Auto HUD unit. A very smart one since then it's hard to make it out dated since it uses your phone more than the built in OS.
Bluetooth alone would have been more than good enough. That headunit will become outdated sooner than later.
@@charminbaer2323 How, you only need enough CPU/GPU to run the mirroring software, and it's not a lot of either to do so.

This is so clean especially with the use of minimal tools, those little speakers pack a punch I'd have gone for a brace in the chambers as that box will flex little

Habe ich ähnlich schon vor 50 Jahren gebaut, allerdings mit abnehmbaren Lautsprechern. Damals mit Autobatterie und Autoradio. Kam gut bei Outdoor-Parties. Aber schöne Arbeit!!!! 👍👍👍
Красиво, стильно, ярко виден технический потенциал автора , отсюда вопрос,что можно было сделать в те же вложения интереснее-увеличить диаметр динамика и его чувствительность, поставив один, а два канала мостом на что то 6.5 дюймовое на нч с отдельным объемом
У этих магнитол и так мостовой выход на динамики. Как ты из двух мостовых выходов собрался сделать ещё один мост? 🤦♂️
Как я подумал, тут 4 канала раскиданы на нс/сч с твитерами через пассивные кроссы. А мне видится логичным оставить 2 на/сч с твитерами, по 1 му на канал, а остальные два канала мостом на что то узконаправленное в нч

Actually very common setup in a car accessories or car audio shop. There u can even find a plug and play setup to test different head unit before buying it.

I bought a Bumpboxx UpRock that was $1,000 on sale for $800 a couple of years ago before I saw this DIY Video.
There's a great deal of satisfaction that comes from DIY but I would probably pay on a project like this since you do need all these tools unless I was going to do it for other people as a business.
you just need a drill, a multimeter and a soldering iron :)

Great job! Glad to see this build. im planning to build one but seeing the process and wiring know how could be a potential challenge. Lol. but i still want to make one. i need to modify a readily available sound system similar to this but i want the speakers detached and the speakers in dual mode Bluetooth or wired. The casing build gave me so much idea. I want something mobile and flexible for our family gatherings that we wont require hiring sound equipment. especially to remove the RGB light they are so tacky!

You should be able to pick up radio on your tablet...
@@davidhamm5626 The unit has FM built in, it just needs an antenna socket on the back (or screw a telescope aerial into the top of the radio).
You can also get a USB adapter to get DAB on these things as well.

1. на кой чёрт нужно было делать фрезеровки под круглые динамики?
2. на кой черт четыре динамика с четырьмя усилителями и четыре пассивных излучателя, если результативнее по объёму оставить по одному динамику с усилком, но помощнее и по одной мембране?

Very well built, only thing I would have done differently is added 2 more lipo packs one in each speaker compartment and wire them in parallel for even longer runtime. I like my music and loud too !!
