It's a pleasure to see this somewhat underrated concerto get the luxury treatment - solid, fearless soloist, supportive accompaniment, lovely video engineering (yes, that counts). Interpretatively, I noted the rather brisk finale - nothing wrong with that, but if I were studying this concerto, I'd have to go slower. To those who think it's amazing that Beethoven's first concerto is so polished and confident, well, it's not really his first-written, but his second-written. No. 2 in B-flat is earlier, but No. 1 in C was published first, perhaps on purpose. I simply cannot imagine being so productive a composer that I'd have decide what to put into print and what to hold in reserve!

Essa é sem dúvida alguma uma das melhores orquestras da Alemanha. Suas interpretações são sempre icônicas. Adoro ouvir o som preciso da Staatskapelle Zu Dresden.🌹🙏
Same here ! Her interpretion and technique are marvelous for sure, but this cadenza of hers is really a bit overlong imho. And by this she did clearly something, that Beethoven reportedly was very annoyed about: the overexpanding of a cadenza in one of his concertos by other pianists. That annoyance of him about such "monster-cadenzas" ( " making a cadenza a concerto within a concerto") was also the main reason for him to fix his own cadenzas in his last piano concerto, the Empereur-concerto. And if he had written more piano concertos, he arguably would continued to do so .

My goodness! The whole thing. And that pianist, just wow. ❤
Where is the location?
The last movement is outstanding. Love 💖 from India.
Nghe như nhạc thính phòng ❤có lẽ vì nhà hát rộng quá so với dàn nhạc giao hưởng ❤ ý là, thiếu độ vang cần thiết ❤ Các nghệ sĩ tuyệt vời ❤ Cảm ơn
How wonderful to enjoy this marvelous concert from a small village in N. W. Peloponnisos /Greece. Thanks a lot!

Mine too. That slow movement, so heartbreaking in it's longing, a young man's passion - a musical love letter to . . . well there were many.
Well, I was enjoying it right up to the moment Margarita decided to go for the world record for the longest ever Beethoven cadenza.
This is the original cadenza!
Same here !
Her interpretion and technique are marvelous for sure, but this cadenza of hers is really a bit overlong imho.
And by this she did clearly something, that Beethoven reportedly was very annoyed about: the overexpanding of a cadenza in one of his concertos by other pianists.
That annoyance of him about such
"monster-cadenzas" ( " making a cadenza a concerto within a concerto") was also the main reason for him to fix his own cadenzas in his last piano concerto, the Empereur-concerto.
And if he had written more piano concertos, he arguably would continued to do so .
