For Pilates, Jessica is my go to, and now that I’m experiencing low back and hip pain after not doing Pilates in years, I’m so grateful for her videos. I feel so much better. You give hope to many of us. Blessings!
Thanks, Jessica! I’ve been doing your original hip video since August, 2021. I’ve gone from real difficulty in walking to no problem! For me I need to do this daily along with the SI video. Again thanks!!!!
Thank you Jessica. I'm 23 and I have Juvenile Arthritis. Recently it has been affecting my hips causing them to be very tight and weak. I tried this video for the first time today and my hips feel great! I plan on doing this every day. Thanks for being part of my healing journey!
Hi Jessica, I was diagnosed with a right labral tear in my hip with damaged ligaments in the hip and knee along with torn ligaments in the knee and a baker's cyst. SI issues, bursitis, impingement. All the fun stuff! Couldn't convince my doc to get me MRI imaging for almost 6 years. Your videos helped me with the chronic pain. I'm a lot more improved now (90%) after getting hyaluronic injections (intra articular) Your videos really have helped me over the years to get through this journey mentally and physically...especially as I cannot afford to go to physio regularly. Thank you
I just started doing this. I broke my hip years ago, and I've had problems with my glutes, quads, knees, shins, and ankles ever since. I hope this helps!! Thanks!
Jessica I’m loving this video thank you! I didn’t realise I had problems with my hip strength until I had difficulty walking and some hyper mobility. I would love a longer length hip & glute strength full workout? X
Thank you so much ! I have been nursing tight hip flexors during this marathon training season. Bc of the tightness, I have a difficult time getting into a smooth running position and cadence. After this stretch and doing another one of your standing Pilates videos, my hips feel so much better. The videos are doable and I like your pace. Thank you again. Will do these for 30 days.
Thanks Jessica. It's been great to do this workout this morning. This 50 plus body of mine benefits greatly from pilates. It gives hope for future strength and well-being. My daughter originally introduced me (and taught me) some pilates many years back. I endeavour to make it a regular routine in my training. Thanks again for your professional teaching. I appreciate it immensely!
I am so glad I found this video. Had total hip replacement 18 months ago and felt that my right was not progressing as well as the left. I have started adding these exercises into my routine and certainly notice the difference. I am excited to follow you going forward.
I'm glad to hear that this video has improved your hips. I also replaced my hip about a year ago, and gosh, it has been a challenge; with having tight hip flexors and knee pain.
Thanks Jessica, this is very timely. I suffer with pain in the lower back, glutes, hip, etc. Your demonstration and explanations were so clear, I am now confident I can do them and begin strengthening and eradicating the pain. Appreciate you.
Hi Jessica, this is a great routine, it really helps my hips feel good. Your videos have been a life saver ever since I started watching you a couple of years ago. Many thanks.
This is so timely. I am 7 months post hip replacement and still weak in my hips. I always referred back to your previous hip videos so it is nice to have a new one.
I will try this for 30 days. I had ACL replacement and meniscus trimming on my left knee 5 years ago. Now my right knee hurts. Many of the exercises in the video are those I had in PT.
The very last laying with on stomach can you get one get better at that if they are barely able to lift leg it’s. I have sever spinal stenosis but my left side has all the issues but I still can lift either side. I love your videos they are getting me through the day so thank you so much.❤
Hi Jessica, I just had a total hip replacement in November. Can you recommend which of your tutorials are best for regaining strength and mobility. I just found your tutorials and am excited about getting in better shape and stronger. Thank you.
How long do I do this work out for before I see a difference in my hips I looking for smaller hips do I do this for 7 days or 14 days or is it longer please let me know I be waiting on your answer ❤️
Nice workout. I came home and didn't have mach time left to do some exercises, so I did this last 10' post of you. I really focused on your explaination and it worked well ;-) Thank you!
Thank you for this perfect video! Ir's especially interest for me (55) as I'm actually suffering from a labral tear in one hip. Is it ok to include all these exercises here to my actual daily strengthening ones? Thank you in advance!
As long as it doesn't hurt these are typical exercises that are often given for labral issues! Of course stop if it hurts and ask your health care professional if needed.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm literally sitting here crying because I've been doing hip exercises for months now religiously and my hip flexors are still SO weak! A lot of times when I try to do core workouts I just feel it in my hip flexors so much and this time I couldn't even finish the workout. I'm so mad and frustrated. Idk what to do
Is it bad for your hips to sit cross cross apple sauce? My left hip hurts if I sit in that pose. I’m a teacher I always sit like that and it makes me sad that it hurts to do so now.
Im a man with an hourglass body due to my large hips. Unfortunately hourglass bodies for men are outdated as it was a fashion trend back in the medieval ages

Is there a second part to this? It has been so helpful and I’d like to know how to advance from these moves? Thank you!

Has pilates helped you?

You're strong 💪
Thank you for this! I do strength training, but my hips are always in pain, afterwards, especially at night, when I lay down. Perhaps this will help.
Hello Sue, I do Jessica's exercises regularly and it helps my hip arthritis. So yes! Do it!
Best wishes!
