Lol being featured on Kickstarter crap must be very embarrassing to the dude to cancel his kickstarter project. But seriously, most likely the money will just pay bills or a big whopping luxury that will take the entire $5k. I think a good number of people who start these projects have the idea of getting really famous on RUclips and being able to earn that money back like in 2-3 months..The RUclips dream isn't as great and accomplish-able as you may think.
Especially nowadays with the shit hole it has become.

These people always think they’re the next PewDiePie. It’s quite impossible anyway. If they wanted his success, they should have started during RUclips’s infancy. There is too much market saturation on YT now. Also, these people have no talent, aren’t funny and just want money. They’ll get 12 subs and their humbleness will fly out the door.
what drives me nuts about these kinds of projects is that they don't even have a following they're going to get all this cool gear and make "high quality content" for 50 views a video on RUclips. It's like they have the mentality that as long as they have the equipment they'll become successful. It's not like personality or content has anything to do with it 🙄

What I find crazy about projects to fund RUclips channels is that it almost exclusively benefits the project creator. We follow RUclips personalities because he happen across their content and like it. We aren't desperate for them. We can find them all for free

Hey Ian. Just wanted to thank you. This video really encouraged me. I work a minimum wage job and have been making so many excuses as to why I can't afford to do fun things. It really is a simple concept to just save up and stop wasting money on stupid things. I'm currently saving up for a car and going in the right direction in life, and this video really encouraged me to make small steps to improve my life, instead of being impatient and getting frustrated when things don't happen immediately.
