Most boring but honest depression story: I was depressed for 4 years until I eventually lost everyone I ever cared about, I realized depression was the reason why i kept losing people. One night I realized I didn't want to feel that way anymore and just like that it went away overnight.

Most boring but honest depression story: I was depressed for 4 years until I eventually lost everyone I ever cared about, I realized depression was the reason why i kept losing people. One night I realized I didn't want to feel that way anymore and just like that it went away overnight.
This is actually a great story.
Same for me. Stopped playing a victim and cut out the melodrama. Basically overnight , after 5 or so years of pretty bad depression. Hospitalized a couple of times. Now I have no patience for depressed people and I don't enable them.
ehh i dont believe in tough love- i believe in hugs and compassion from yourself and others bc i was depressed due to lack of love and saw no point in life bc i was grinding through it very stoically.
also clincal depression is a mental hormonal imbalance- even though i was fine- i couldnt bring my self to be happy physically bc i wasnt hormonally normal. All humans are just a bunch of chemicals and decreasing and increasing small doses of some make a bigggg difference.
