With the gun used in the Alec Baldwin scenario, it is alleged that the armourer allowed people to use the guns for target practice with live rounds in the days prior to the incident. Which explains why there was a live round in the gun unfortunately.
The sole purpose of the armorer being on set is to make 1000% sure the guns are safe - she failed on that and passed a loaded gun on to an actor - even if someone else passed it from the armourer to Alec. If the woman who was hired specifically to be INCHARGE of making sure the guns were safe didn’t know the difference between blanks and live rounds… someone who would’ve had to spend YEARS training for that specific job - how would an ACTOR know the difference?? It makes no sense to me. It’s like a chef in a kitchen not realizing they’re putting something poisonous in a meal that should have never been in the kitchen in the first place and having the server being charged for the murder … that’s how I see it. 😨

I was a Manager for 3 1/2 years at Burger King, and the only chemicals we were allowed to have was the ones we could order on our own truck orders. Was only allowed to have RAID ANT KILLER spray in our building and it was only used in the summer because we were next to lots of corn and soybean fields. The only problem we ever had with animals was ants and flies in our lobby.
If I relied on my husband to do our taxes we’d be in big trouble with the government right now…if these Andrew Tate boys were smart they’d respect women as equals and find a partner who could help them in life instead of landing their asses in jail.

Not only were the producers held accountable and the movie cancelled, indie film producers always made it a point to share that story and ingrain it in the minds of amateur film makers and workers to regard it. If that's how indie film makers treat that situation, major film producers should be held at a much higher standard.

That’s just bad weapon handling for someone like him who has experience with many movies and guns. I did read that the reason production for Rust is continuing as at the request of Hutchins’ family as they wanted her beautiful cinematography to be remembered and think it’s what she would have wanted. I agree though, definitely feels strange to me.

If that's how indie film makers treat that situation, major film producers should be held at a much higher standard.
