I was super into cars growing up, but it hasn't been a hobby of mine lately. I only got 25% right. These newer model names drive me crazy, BMW with their X#'s that don't seem to be in any order and Tesla spelling "S,3,X,Y" in their models.🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣🥰
I am just blown away by the fact that she’s come back, full of snarky remarks, and basically making fun of the situation. She also seems to be getting away with it from all the fans on TikTok. No one’s really even saying anything about it and that’s crazy!
This is why I do not have a TikTok. It is literally rotting people's brains and morals. I I never understood people's obsession with her anyway she looks like someone if you saw her in real life you wouldn't want to approach her because she looks like she just said something snarky about you.
Her fans are bullies and so toxic. I couldn’t follow her anymore. This is all because the fame and money has gone to her head.
i unfollowed her because of this! i did not appreciate the fact she decided to take this so light - heartedly bc it hurt me as a follower to be lied to 😢
I couldn't believe she ignored it and make some snide comments. That's what made me really believe ok she's trash. A slap in the face to her real fans.
We all know she will continue to make fun of the situation until she's making somehow accountable for it by laws or something like that
The issue I find disappointing is that she lied to young kids/adults who may also struggle with body dysmorphia or self esteem issues. The image of obtaining perfection or an unrealistic result is so damaging.
I agree.. I think it just perpetuates an unrealistic standard. Hate to think of a kid or something thinking that if they don’t get that result, there might be something wrong with them or something… when it’s fake anyway! I hope this doesn’t become the new normal in the beauty community.
Money as well. It's minor, but obsessing over products with fake expectations is hard too when you're young 🥺

That’s what I’m saying! I follow several influencers who spoke up about body image issues and they were all openly supporting her. It’s so disappointing.

@Tiffany Treacle Not everything is a fake aesthetic. A lot of people don't know the names of celebrities. A lot of people can kind of recognize their face or say a movie their in but don't know their name. It's not "quirky" it's pretty normal to not be totally entrenched in the useless knowledge of who all these random people are.

Lash gate was so disappointing because she built her entire platform on being authentic and honest, and I wholeheartedly believed she was.. I also wanted to believe that she didn’t lie but her silence on the situation since returning is so incredibly telling.
Congratulations on the half year mark for your baby, you and your family!! Motherhood / parenthood is such an amazing experience. Enjoy every second because it goes by far too fast and every moment is a blessing. All the happy moments truly hold you through the rougher parts if you let them. Sending you all positive thoughts💕

The thing about tv ads is you know you’re watching an ad you know they are just selling something. When it comes to influencers the line is blurred and that is what makes it worse. They don’t portray it as they are selling something they portray it as being relatable, just like you, something you need and will be a staple in your collection.

It really irks me because she hasn’t addressed it and she’s now back to posting. As someone who’s been a makeup artist on social media for 10+ years and would give ANYTHING to have that kind of following, the fact that she hasn’t even said sorry to the people who have gotten her there blows my mind.

I think your reaction to the mascara situation just goes to show how different you two are from a majority of the influencers and creators online today, because you can't imagine saying something dishonest to your audience just to make a buck. I wasn't affected by the situation because I was never a fan of Michaela's and I don't trust people who have that much money lol. They just seem to lose all of their morals and standards once they make it "big," and it gives me the ick. You ladies have been the exception though, and I love your content so much more for it.
Recording every detail of your baby is absolutely the move. Now that my daughter is 4 I love looking back at her baby pictures and videos. It’s so priceless to have as your baby is going through different milestones. Congrats Kendall, motherhood looks beautiful on you. 💞
